Forskning benämner de barn och ungdomar som föddes under åttio- och nittiotalet som internetgenerationen. Innebörden av detta begrepp är att vi har en hel generation som vuxit upp med nätet som ett ständigt närvarande fenomen samt att detta i sin tur påverkat ungas vardag, socialisation och inlärning. Den omfattande effekt nätet haft på samhället och våra yngre generationer har i sin tur påverkat det pedagogiska uppdraget. Jag har gjort en kvalitativ undersökning där jag intervjuat fem pedagoger om deras tankar kring internet och dess inverkan på pedagogens uppdrag. Pedagogerna är alla eniga om att internet spelar en viktig roll i barns och ungas tillvaro samt att barn visar kunskaper om IT och nätet redan första året i skolan.

The increasing importance of human rights within the international community over the past fifteen years has raised the issue of humanitarian intervention. This concept is a complex one, and in the debate surrounding this issue can be heard arguments from and within legal, political and ethical standpoints. The purpose of this master's thesis is to examine children's communication and interaction during story time at the public library. The aim is also to examine how to develop the story time ? in terms of participation and equality ? at a specific library.Action research was used as a research strategy and participant observation, log, tutoring and interviews as methods to collect data. Since action research is done on the basis of practice, a significant collaboration with the librarian and the participant children is taking place within this study.Research from the fields of Library and Information Science, Education and Childhood Sociology form the interdisciplinary research area to which this study links. The theoretical framework consists of theory and concepts from the Socio-cultural Perspective, Poststrucuralist Feminism and Childhood Sociology.

My essey concern the non-profitable organization Ung företagsamhet and their extenal communication with collaborators. I have done three intervjues with three of Ung företagsamhets 24 district in Sweden, and these are Kalmar, Jönköping and Skåne. My qustions conserns their rethoric and strategic communications channales, and the focus lies in their external communications with collaborators. I have also made a secondary data analysis about their media coverage and seen how they consciously works with it.Ung Företagsamhet is a non-profit organization that need good partnerships in order to survive financially. My analysis shows that the three different regions works variously with their external communication.

This thesis processes the work of developing CPU code and GPU code for Thomas Kaijsers algorithm for calculating the kantorovich distance and the performance between the two is compared. Initially there is a rundown of the algorithm which calculates the kantorovich distance between two images. Thereafter we go through the CPU implementation followed by GPGPU written in CUDA. Then the results are presented. Lastly, an analysis about the results and a discussion with possible improvements is presented for possible future applications..

Brottsförebyggande Rådet (BRÅ) genomförde tillsammans med Forum för levande historia en studie angående intolerans bland svenska skolungdomar. Resultatet visade att det fanns en relativt stor grupp intoleranta. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka eventuell intolerans bland skolungdomar från grundskolans senare år och gymnasiet i Luleåområdet samt att jämföra deras kunskap och attityd rörande Förintelsen. Undersökningen genomfördes med kvantitativa enkäter riktade mot de valda undersökningsgrupperna samt genom kvalitativa litteraturstudier. Resultatet visade att de undersökta skolungdomarna uppvisade tendenser att vara mer intoleranta än riksgenomsnittet.

Självscanning introducerades i butiker för ett antal år sedan och finns nu i butiker som Ica Maxi och Coop Forum. Investeringskostnaden för ett sådant system är dock hög och butiker med lägre omsättning har därmed inte råd att köpa in detta system. Detta projekt syftade till att utveckla ett alternativ, med en applikation till Android för scanning. Tanken var att kunderna då kan använda sina mobiltelefoner som scannrar vilket skulle minska investeringskostnaden för butikerna.Genom att studera existerande system, togs en lösning bestående av två delar fram, dels applikationen men även en server med en databas för lagring av kundernas varukorgar. För testning av lösningen utvecklades även en testmiljö bestående av en prisdatabas och en kassa i form av ett datorprogram.

In Scandinavia today many old harbour areas are developed into residential and commercial areas. For example are both Helsingborg city and Malmoe city in south Sweden planning to restructure some of their harbour areas to accommodate shops, schools, offices, residences et cetera. In Copenhagen in Denmark new plans for Nordhavn is also underway. In almost every plan proposal to redevelope an old harbour area the harbour activities are set a side to give room for new development. In Reykjavik, however, this has not been the case.

The empirical data used for this master thesis, consists of eight manuals with the main purpose to help students evaluate information resources found on the web or Internet. The purpose is to elucidate the discourses and investigate those textual characteristics, which figure in the investigated manuals. The method used is a discursive and linguistic approach, with a power/knowledge discussion applied to the results. The analysis identifies, among other things, the production and consumption of the investigated texts, and that the manuals function as a reflection of the relationship between the participants in the situation, the sociocultural practice of the institution and its identity..

Throughout the paper, a discussion is held regarding what the representatives think about activating these intangible assets. From this, we have identified and analyzed possible pros and cons to such activation.Our interest to this question was brought to us when we realized that most music companies in Sweden have intangible assets without activating them. This is, even though these are their main source of income.
