In recent years, Lean has been implemented in a variety of companies with focus areas that differ from the conditions that characterizes manufacturing. This transfer has contributed to fairly superficial results because companies almost exclusively focus on Toyotas methodology and not on the goal of Lean. The effort of transforming Lean from manufacturing to any organization requires a definition on a general level and a view of Lean as a system. One of the core principles of Lean and the foundation of continuous improvements is standardized work. In product development there is a negative view on standardized work, where the engineers state that the principle is not applicable for knowledge processes that include non-repetitive and creative work.In the framework of this master thesis literature has been studied to find support that standardized work is applicable for product development and areas that include knowledge processes.

Some word processing programs save information that not all users of the program are aware of. This information consists of a number of things. Example of that is who the writer of the document is, the time it took to write it and where on the computer the document is saved. Text that has been changed or removedcan also be saved. This information is not shown in the program and the user will therefore not be aware of its existence.

Ambitionen och målet med mitt projekt var att visualisera delar av en berättelse med hjälp av den senaste datortekniken. Detta tog sin form av en 3d-animation. Målet var inte att producera en färdig kortfilm utan att arbeta med utvalda delar. Projektet var indelat i tre block; en planerings- och researchfas, en produktionsfas och en reflektionsfas. The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is one of the big feline species kept in zoos worldwide. The wild populations are quite small and therefore the captive population make up an important part of the total population of the world. Although life in the wild is not always easy and a captive environment provides shelter and food it does not come without problems. In captivity cheetahs become chronically ill and also develop stereotypic behaviours. Neither of these are problems in wild populations and both can be linked to stress in captivity.

I detta projekt undersöker vi om man kan bygga en maskinaktivitetssensor medhjälp av en enkretsdator som genom en accelerometer mäter en maskinsvibrationer. Sensorn skall generera en statussignal. Accelerometern ger enmätbar signal baserad på maskinens vibrationer. Enkretsdatorn används för attsampla, transformera och analysera signalen och generera statusinformation.Med LabView kan vi spara, studera och analysera olika signaler och olikatransformer. Vi studerar maskinvibrationer i LabView och beslutar att 5 kHzsampling räcker för att fånga intressanta vibrationer.

Den digitala utvecklingen kan vara den största utmaningen som skolan ställts inför sedanboktryckarkonsten. Lärarens roll och hur man ser på lärare kommer att förändras i grunden. Föratt kunna verka i denna skola behöver lärare en digital kompetens. Hur man utvecklar den ochvilka faktorer som påverkar den behandlar detta examensarbete. I arbetet används enutvecklingsmodell för lärares digitala kompetens.

The rapid change within digital medias has increased the possibilities to make information accessible through network. Therefore the European Union EU considers a harmonization within the Union, in order to strengthen the rights of the originator. The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate how the EUs directive 2001/29/EG regarding copyright is to be implemented into Swedish legislation and assess the common opinion in the public libraries on this matter. The basic methodology of this thesis is a democratic perspective, concerning the public libraries democratic role and the right of the citizens to have access to information. The relation between LIS and physical bibliography is examined primarily through an analysis of such LIS literature as applies physical bibliography in research or otherwise discusses its relevance to information studies. Quite a number of scholars are stressing the usefulness of this bibliographical tradition, even though its position in LIS agenda as a whole seems to be less established. These scholars suggest that physical bibliography presents interesting conceptual and theoretical implications for many of the central objects of study in LIS, for example, knowledge organization, information retrieval, and information seeking. It is also suggested that physical bibliography could help deepen our knowledge and understanding of the digital media ecology. Physical bibliography is foremost seen as a method for the analysis of documents, a method in which not least its terminological apparatus may be a significant tool.

Abstrakt I den här uppsatsen undersöks hur ett narrativ kan drivas inom digitala spel enbart med hjälp av spelmiljön. Syftet är att få förståelse för vad miljöberättande behärskar som en självständig form av berättande och vad författarna kan göra för att uppnå detta mål. För att undersöka problemområdet genomfördes en spelproduktion där metoder framtagna under undersökningens gång applicerades. Produktionen testades av utomstående studenter i medieteknik och resultaten sammanställdes med reflektioner kring vad som uppnåtts och de metoder som applicerats. Undersökningen beskriver arbetsprocessen och metoder och visar hur dessa kan driva ett narrativ med en spelmiljö.
