Problem formulation? Are there any factors affecting the choice of marketing strategy?? What is it that determines the degree for the company to use a standardized or a adapt marketing strategy?? How profitable is Scania's marketing strategy in each country?Objective: The overall aim of this study is based on local adaptation and global standardization to compare the degree to which the company Scania chooses to adapt or standardize its marketing to the South American and Asian markets.We also aim to compare and describe any factors that affect the countries' differences in marketing strategies and to evaluate and measure the profitability of marketing strategies in each market.Methodology: The study is limited to Scania's marketing in the truck market in Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia and Singapore from 2006 to 2010. In order to answer the study's problem formulation and purpose we have chosen to combine a qualitative and quantitative approach. Four interviews were conducted with marketing executives from Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia / Singapore and Sweden. We have also chosen to examine Scania's annual report and include figures on the market shares of Scania in the respective countries and the number of sold Scania truck which is then compared against the number of registered vehicles by country.

In the production of pulp, paper and cardboard, a large amount of water is used daily. The water has to be purified in the internal purifying plant before it reaches the receiving body of water. In the biological purifying stage at the Stora Enso Skoghall mill, an aerated basin is used where the microorganisms, using oxygen, oxidize the organic material to carbon dioxide. The air is pumped from the bottom of the basin and the oxygen can then be transported from the air bubbles to the water through diffusion. The problem with aeration of waste water from the forest industry is that wood residues, such as fatty acids, are making the transport of oxygen in water more difficult.

Resultatet visar också att relativt nya tjänster som taggtjänster och lokationsbaserade tjänster inte har någon spridning idag.

I Augusti 2000 beslutades att användandet av syntetiska vitaminer inte längre tillåts som tillskott i foderstaten till ekologiska mjölkkor. En generell dispens gäller i hela EU t.o.m. december 2005. Mer forskningsresultat, som kan visa på möjligheter att tillgodose idisslarnas vitaminbehov utan syntetiska vitaminer, är nödvändiga för att kunna ta ett korrekt politiskt beslut om ev. fortsatt dispens. I norra Europa har korna en kort betessäsong.

This thesis deals with the numerical 3D simulation of a four stroke, spark-ignited, internalcombustion engine, which is mounted on a high performance motorcycle. The work, carried outin collaboration with Politecnico di Milano and MV Agusta, focuses on the simulation of theintake, compression and expansion stroke, including combustion simulation, using an opensource CFD code.Simulation of internal combustion engines offers a great challenge in the field of CFD research.Moving boundaries of the solution domain, caused by the motion of the piston and valves, leadsto deformation of the computational grid, with decreasing quality of the solution as result. Basedon this, a previously developed mesh motion strategy was employed where a number of meshesare used to cover the whole simulation cycle. Within each mesh interval the internal cell pointsof the mesh are moved to account for the boundary motion of the piston and valves. This strategywas previously applied to simplified geometries as well as real engine geometries.

En uppfattningom att det samhälle vi ser idag väsentligen skiljer sig från det industrisamhälle somdominerade 1900-talet är inte svår att nära, och den för många självklara komponent somtillförts är just information och de mekanismer som omgärdar den. Att förändra samhället ärdock inget som enbart isolerad teknikutveckling åstadkommer. Tidigare forskning beskriverhur tekniken har inkorporerats i våra liv, förändrat våra vardagliga sysslor och det sättmänniskor kommunicerar med varandra.

Idag ställs stora krav på matpotatisen utseende. Att förbättra skalfinishen är många gånger önskvärt för matpotatisodlaren. En försämring av skalfastheten hos etablerade matpotatissorter har uppmärksammats av Lars Bolin, VD på Svensk Potatis. Genom att undersöka praktisk odling och därigenom samla in underlag för slutsatser alternativt för framtida studier inom området är förhoppningen att minska problem med skalhållfasthet. Målsättningen är att hitta metoder som ger potatisen ett bra hållfast skal vilket skulle öka lönsamheten för odlarna.

In May 2010 the plans for Malmö?s new Concert Hall, Conference Centre and Hotel were announced publically. The purpose of this thesis was to present strategy for communication in order to gain approval for the new concert and conference center from the inhabitants inMalmö and to incorporate the use of it in their everyday life.Material from the receiver?s as well as the sender?s perspective has been collected from qualitative interviews. Through group interviews we have investigated the general consensus of the inhabitants of Malmö regarding the investment, placing, offered events, expectations as well as how they collected information.

Under sex månader våren 2007 har ett samarbete mellan Volvo Lastvagnar och två studenter från KTH, inriktning Integrerad produktutveckling vid institutionen för maskinkonstruktion, pågått i form av ett examensarbete på 20 poäng.Dagens AC-system i Volvos lastbilar avger 20-40 g/år av köldmediet R134a som är en kraftfull växthusgas. Detta sker främst genom diffusion via slangar och tätningsmaterial. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att ta fram förslag på tekniska lösningar på ett nytt AC-system. Eventuella idéer från befintliga värmepumpar och kylsystem skall studeras för att minska eller eliminera utsläppen helt. Fokus har lagts på själva köldmediekretsen och de ingående komponenterna för att därigenom ta fram koncept där systemet är så kompakt och lätt som möjligt.Arbetet delades upp i fyra olika faser: Förstudie, konceptstudie, utvecklingsfas och rapportfas.
