The study aims to gain insight into how social workers perceive their psychosocial work environment and examine whether this effects the performance of their duties. The study mainly addresses the shortcomings of the psychosocial work environment of Social Services and the implications it entails for social workers health and wellbeing. The psychosocial work environment includes physical and psychological factors therefore the study's interpretive framework consists of organizational theoretical and social psychological concepts and previous research on the subject. We examined the organizational and social psychological connections to social workers perception of their work environment with a qualitative approach. The empirical data was collected through interviews with four social workers in a municipality in central Sweden using a semi-structured interview guide.

Through the different stages of life people have different requirements for their homes. The requirements changes depending on people?s life situation, lifestyleand age. Depending on where people are in life they live in different place, often in areas with other people who are in the same stage of life. In Sweden, this separation has always been noticeable, sometimes more than other.

Vi har valt att undersöka hur optikerbutiker på Storgatan i Luleå hanterar konkurrens. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur optikerbutikerna arbetar för att skapa konkurrensfördelar och om ägarformen påverkar detta arbete. Vi har även valt att undersöka om det finns något samband mellan företagens arbete och deras finansiella ställning. I denna uppsats är Simons styrmodell central och den består av fyra styrverktyg: diagnostisk styrning, gränsskapande styrning, interaktiv styrning samt styrning efter värderingar. Även Porters teori om konkurrensstarka företagsstrategier har använts genomgående i uppsatsen.

The aim of this study is to describe and analyse the cooperation between the public employment service and the refugee reception in a medium-sized municipality in southern Sweden on basis of the establishment reform. The study examines how the collaborative process is regarded when it comes to implementation of the reform, and when it comes to the directives and resource allocation between the employment services and the refugee reception. The study also focuses on the deficiencies and the benefits that can be discerned with the establishment reform at local level.A qualitative data collection method has been used. It is semi-structured interviews with workers from the public employment service and the refugee reception. Information materials and evaluations that various authorities have made have also been investigated.The study concludes that it is important that the directives are clarified and that a new local and regional agreement will be established on paper.

The main purpose of this Master thesis is to illuminate the understanding of local politicians regarding the public libraries and the librarians. We argue that the local politicians´ opinions regarding public libraries and librarians influence the way they act and react in their roles as politicians.In order to achieve the aim of this thesis we focused on following questions:What are the opinions of the politicians:- regarding themselves in relation to the public library?- concerning public libraries in general and its functions especially in the municipalities of their own?- concerning the librarians and their work in a public function?What are the conclusions to be drawn regarding the politicians´ interest and commitment to public libraries in the politic daily-life of the municipalities? Our empiric material consists of qualitative interviews with six politicians elected in two municipalities in the interior of Västerbotten, a northern sparsely populated district. In order to distinguish the various opinions that emerge from the material, we apply a phenomenographic approach. The analysis result we present in three conceivable categories in order to express the different opinions.In general our study points at a positive and favourable attitude to the public library, and all the respondents assume that the municipality ought to offer this service.

Företaget använder sig avdenna modell idag men i slutsatsen har vi konstaterat att det krävsförbättringar. Dessa förändringar bör genomföras för att företaget iframtiden ska kunna jämföra och kontrollera sina kostnader på ettbättre sätt.Because of the competition on the current service market it is moreimportant to minor service companies to evaluate there choice ofproduct calculation.The purpose is to examine El- Företaget Ab:s product calculation andsuggest possible improvements by comparing with existing andappropriate product calculating- methods.The result in this survey shows that absorption costing method is themost suitable one to use by El- Företaget AB. The company uses thismodel today but through the conclusion we have worked outimprovements. These changes will be made to compare and controltheir cost in a better way in the future..

The aim of this study has been to highlight how school social workers experience their discretion, and furthermore how they feel about working in a context mainly dedicated to teachers. The study is executed with a qualitative research method where ten interviews with school social workers, in eight schools in the area of Stockholm have been conducted. The theoretical framework used to analyze the results was discretion, street-level bureaucracy and human service organizations.The main findings of this study imply that the most important ambition of the social work that was conducted in the schools was to help the students reach their knowledge goals. The assignment is, however, not clearly defined, which has lead to school social workers defining the mission and goals themselves. They all have wide discretion and great possibilities to decide how to execute their work, but how they use the freedom that was given seems to vary among them.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine which role public libraries play or could play within bibliotherapy. The study is based on qualitative interviews with five librarians who, in one way or another have experienced bibliotherapy activities. Further, we have interviewed two treatment assistants and one counsellor, who have cooperated with the librarians, to get their view. We have used the following research questions: Which bibliotherapeutic activities, if any, are pursued in public libraries in Sweden, and how do they look upon bibliotherapy? What role do public libraries play/could play within bibliotherapy? Ever since the term bibliotherapy was coined in the beginning of the twentieth century, the definition has been under debate. We have identified four main subjects of discussion.

Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a recognized social problem. The IPV is common in all types of intimate relations, this essays purpose was focused on the violence performed by women against men. To find the social workers conceptions the study conducted a survey sent to local social service in Sweden. The essay had a statistic approach to visualize the social workers conceptions, and a discursive approach to focus on the language used in text answers. Different aspects of the violence were explored to find the conceptions.

In Sweden, selection for leanness in pigs has been going on for almost a century. This sometimes results in gilts and sows being too lean and consequently in a risk for reduced reproduction and health status. The Swedish recommendation includes that gilts should be mated after seven months of age, after one documented oestrus, at 120-140kg live weight and with a backfat thickness of 16-20mm. Five gilt producing herds were visited and records of age, heart girth (for weight estimation), body condition (visual estimation), backfat thickness and exterior were made. The same records were also taken in four gilt buying herds on newly purchased gilts.

Tidigare forskning visar att mammografiscreeningar bidragit till en ökad överlevnad i bröstcancer tack vare tidigt upptäckt av sjukdomen. Dock fanns det ett område inom vilket mammografi hade begränsad diagnostisk förmåga. Det var körtelrik bröstvävnad där cancer kunde döljas för bildgranskade radiologer. Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att undersöka om digital brösttomosyntes kan förbättra detektion/sensitiviteten för bröstcancer, särskilt i täta bröst, och på så sätt bidra till att minska antalet intervallcancrar. Som metod valdes att göra en evidensbaserad litteraturöversikt grundad på kvantitativa studier.

Problem och syfte: Syftet är att beskriva hur företag använder styrmekanismer för att styra leverantörer som ska omfattas av företagets etiska riktlinjer, för att på så sätt säkerställa att de etiska normerna genomsyrar hela värdekedjan. Detta görs i syfte att skapa en modell som steg för steg tydliggör styrmekanismernas användning och koppling till ett system för verksamhetsstyrning. Syftet är även att beskriva den betydelse som relationen mellan företaget och dess leverantör har för styrmekanismernas användning. Frågan är av intresse då företagets ansvar i etiska frågor verkar sträcka sig längre än bara inom den egna organisationen. Många företag har fått sitt rykte skadat av handlingar som vidtagits av leverantörer längre tillbaka i värdekedjan, vilket har medfört att företag i ökande omfattning använder sig av exempelvis uppförandekoder för att styra leverantörer i etiska frågor.Metod: Utifrån den teoretiska referensramen har en analysmodell bestående av tre steg i ett system för verksamhetsstyrning utvecklats.

Syftet med undersökningen är att arbeta fram en modell för hur företag bör arbeta innan, under och efter en kris för att bevara sitt varumärke. Studien baseras på en kvalitativ undersökning där primärdata insamlats via intervjuer med sex experter inom området kriskommunikation. Ett abduktivt tillvägagångssätt har används då fokus växlat mellan empiri och teori, men där största fokus legat på empirin. Teorin har insamlats via litteraturstudie där vetenskapliga artiklar hämtats från olika databaser, såsom google scholar och ABI/inform. Slutsatsen genererar i ett verktyg i form av en modell som ger riktlinjer på hur företag kan arbeta innan en kris för att förebygga och förbereda. Den visar även på hur företag arbetar under en kris för att minimera skadan av den samt hur de på bästa sätt kan återhämta sig från den.

Bakgrund: Gingivit kännetecknas av svullet/lättblödande och ibland ömt tandkött. Gingivit är en inflammatoriskt orsakad reaktion som uppkommer i samband med närvaro av bakterier. För att motverka utvecklingen av gingivit rekommenderas munhygienvård regelbundet. Gingivit kan utvecklas till parodontit med skador på upphängningsapparaten och benstödet, orsaken till detta är idag dock ej helt klarlagd. Kliniska variabler (blödning vid sondering) är vedertagna diagnostiska metoderna för diagnostisk av gingivit idag.
