Sjuksköterskors upplevda stress och stresshantering. En empirisk studie.

The purpose of this empirical study was to investigate if stress exists among nurses, and if it exists how do they experience it and how do they cope whit it. The nurses also got to define the word stress. Karasek and Theorells demandcontrollmodell were used as a theoretical framework. The result of the study answers our research questions and gives us a good insight how the nurses experience stress and how they cope with it. The result shows that 56 of 60 nurses indicated that they experience medium to high level of stress a couple of days a week or more often and that it affects their work.

Upplevelse & Inlevelse : En kulturarvspedagogisk studie av Hogslaby Järnåldersby, Botkyrka kommun

The main purpose of this study is to view the aims of the local authority of Botkyrka for their prehistoric village, and to compare those with the actual activities in the village.Because of no official formulated aims, the study were laboured through interviews, observations, analysis of evaluations and a parallell literature study.For the visiting pupils today, the village has an introduction, but not a follow-up. Pedagogically the follow-up is the most important part, seeing that it?s there the knowledge is created in relation to the experience.Through experience-pedagogy, based on learning by doing, try to attain an experience intended to generate knowledge. But in this case, the focus lands on doing, and the reflection fails to occur. This is a learning based on the situation, rather than on the reflection, situated learning..

In this study we have investigated how care users in a nursing home experience their possibilities for influence and treatment from the staff. The study was conducted through focus group interviews with six participants who we met on four occasions. Questions the study departs from are: How do users experience their opportunity to influence? How do the users experience the treatment from the staff? The study has a qualitative approach and has been analyzed by means of symbolic interactionism, with an emphasis on the Self. Our results demonstrate that in situations of good treatment there is also a good influence.

Historielärobokens användning : En studie om gymnasielärares användning av historieläroboken.

The aim of this thesis is to examine how secondary teachers in the subject of history are using the textbook in their teaching. Four questions are being dealt with in this thesis. What importance is being placed on the use of history textbooks by the secondary teachers? What priorities do the secondary teachers have? How do they deal with student interests? And what is the importance of the secondary teachers? work experience? I have interviewed four secondary teachers with different work experience to complete this thesis. A Dictaphone has been used in all the interviews. Research has shown that textbooks now have a central role in teaching and the lack of alternative materials and reduction of teaching hours has made it difficult to replace. The main conclusions of the thesis are that the history textbook has a dual role depending on the teacher you ask, and that the history book is used differently by the teachers.

Butiksupplevelsens påverkan på prestationen - En kvantitativ undersökning av hur en butiks ekonomiska prestation påverkas av konsumenternas upplevelse i butiken

It is important for every store to have a good financial performance which can be affected by the average purchase and the number of customers in the store. Customers shopping experience can affect both of these factors and therefore it is important for retailers to know about how an in-store environment can affect this experience. The purpose of this study is to give retailers an indication of the importance of consumers' shopping experience and how this may affect the store's financial performance. To study this subject an in-store survey was conducted in four grocery stores in Stockholm where a total of 320 consumers answered a total of 41 questions about their shopping experience. By sales data it was possible to conduct a statistical analysis to see which variables regarding consumers shopping experience influenced the average purchase.

Background: Chronic pain is a condition that approximately 18% of the Swedish population suffers from. This condition affects many aspects of a person´s life and causes psychological, physiological and social suffering. Multimodal treatment is considered the most effective treatment for patients with chronic pain. Patient participation and motivation are very important to treatment. Aim: The aim of this study was to explore patients´ experience of a multimodal chronic pain treatment program regarding their experience of patient participation and interaction with the rehabilitation team.

This thesis has been done in collaboration with Peab Stockholm Building 3, which is a region within the Peab Sverige AB. The report is based on a survey and studies of Peab business management systems and production literature. For general information gathering has literature from well-known sources collected in libraries and through the Internet. It shows through the work that Peab has routines for experience feedback in the construction process, but that these procedures work in a small scale and the practical work experience feedback does not work at all. This is also something the construction industry in general also perceived as problematic. The questions in the report are of a wide scale and concerns construction errors cost, how the employees perceive that the company takes advantage of the skills and the mental stress in production line. The goal is to find how Peab Stockholm Building 3 will work on the experience feedback to allow for better productivity. In conclusion, the report author tries to demonstrate what can lead to increased productivity and improved work experience..

Upplevelsen av samsjuklighet

Denna kandidatuppsats berör platsmarknadsföring på semesterön Mauritius. Vi författare har under en tre veckor lång fältstudie undersökt varför Mauritius utvecklats till att bli en exklusiv paradisö samt hur detta arbete har gått till väga. För att få en helhetsbild av ön samt direktkontakt med berörda aktörer har vi under vår studie intervjuat olika aktörer såsom marknadsföringsorganisationer, myndigheter, lokala entreprenörer samt turister. En intressant synvinkel för Mauritius del är hur denna lilla ö så snabbt kunnat växa fram till vad många i västvärlden kallar ett paradis. Vi åkte till Mauritius i ett tidigt stadium i uppsatsprocessen för att undersöka vilka grundläggande förutsättningar som krävs för att bygga upp en destination samt vilken ekonomisk betydelse turismen har för Mauritius.Uppsatsen fokuserar på de tre begreppen platsmarknadsföring, platsvarumärkesbyggande samt platsimage.

With a greater competition from construction firms from other countries, it is necessary to maintain the profit for Swedish construction firms. This is possible with a higher feedback of experience. This diploma work thesis examines how the two construction companies NCC and Skanska in Uppsala, Sweden handle experience feedback from previous projects and the extent to which the experience is spread and used in future projects. In this work, we examined directorial documents to see how employees shall work with feedback.

Synden i Mölle, finns den kvar? - en fallstudie kring kulturarv, imageskapande och destinationsmarknadsföring

Allt fler turister vill idag uppleva orörda destinationer och historiska kulturarv samt efterfrågar inte längre enbart iscensatta och konstruerade miljöer. Turistdestinationer måste därför utmärka sig genom sin marknadsföring för att vara attraktiva eftersom turister vill uppleva något utöver det vanliga. En destinations image förändras över tiden och för att förstå denna förändring krävs det att man ser tillbaka på en destinations historia och kulturarv. Vi har valt att studera Mölle som är en klassisk badort i nordvästra Skåne med en historik som än idag återspeglas markant på hela orten. Vi valde att studera vilken betydelse Mölles historik som badort har för destinationen idag.

Att producera järnmalm och "skapa väl fungerande medarbetare" : företagshälsovården inom Grängesbergs Gruv AB ca 1930-1989

Syftet med studien var att beskriva överensstämmelsen mellan elevernas uppfattning och Carlforsska gymnasiets menade budskap med ?The Carlforsska experience?. Eleverna i detta fall var elever som gick i årskurs åtta på Skiljeboskolan i Västerås. För att beskriva överensstämmelsen gjordes en fallstudie där empiri insamlades genom intervjuer, där det togs reda på om vilka skillnader och likheter som fanns mellan elevernas uppfattning och den varumärkesidentitet som Carlforsska gymnasiet ville förmedla med ?The Carlforsska experience?.
