 Background and aim: Media development and digitalization has expanded the PR industry's working area. More participants are on the media market and it is becoming more and more difficult to define what PR really is and what the PR agencies/departments really do. Is PR marketing, information, event marketing or maybe propaganda? We believe that the complexity to define the term PR can lead to a loss of critical approach to the business, especially among young people. Has the PR industry managed to eliminate their negative image among students in upper secondary school and what do they associate with PR today? The aim of this essay is to examine what a selection of students associate with the term PR and if they are critical to the PR industry or not.Method/Material: The method is a quantitative survey.

SÀkerhetstÀnkande integrerat i systemdesign via formaliserade metoder

Systems development methods mirror different organizational perspectives, and not all methods are formalised, but what they have in common is the purpose of structuring and supporting systems development processes. Which method would be the most suitable may be determined by the systems development context at hand, because every systems development context is unique. Information is a valuable asset in today?s organizations, and it needs to be protected against both internal and external security threats. In our essay we aspired to find and present suggestions as to how systems developers can include security in the very design based on formalised systems development methods to create systems that are better prepared to meet the security challenges of today.

Akademiska utlandsstudier : En fallstudie om motiv till utlandsstudier bland svenska studenter pÄ Södertörns högskola

The purpose of this study is to investigate the primary motivation for studying abroad among students at Södertörn University, and also examine how the time studying abroad will affect the students on a personal level. The essay is based on a qualitative approach of ten interviews with students who have already completed an exchange program. With the help of the theoretical concepts of push and pull factors, motivation categories, human capital and previous research, the results and analysis showed a coherent pattern. It turns out that the majorities of students are primarily motivated by the opportunity to enjoy a nice nature, new environment and get to know new people. The time studying abroad mostly contributed to the student?s personal development and also gave an understanding of other people and different cultures.

Hur kan företag via sponsring pÄverka sin varumÀrkesimage och hur anvÀnder sig företag av sponsring för att stÀrka sitt varumÀrke? Syftet Àr att undersöka hur företag arbetar med sponsring och hur de anvÀnder sig av sponsring med intentionen att pÄverka sitt varumÀrkes image. Studien ska ge nyanserande och upplyftande kunskaper i vÄra frÄgestÀllningar och ge företagen ökad kunskap om sponsring och hur de sjÀlva kan arbeta med att förbÀttra sin sponsringsverksamhet.Metod: En studie ur ett företagsperspektiv som genomförts pÄ fem fallföretag. PrimÀrdata har samlats in via intervjuer med respondenter frÄn de valda företagen och den sekundÀra informationen har Äterfunnits i etablerad teori samt artiklar. Studiens teoretiska referensram Àr baserad pÄ befintliga teorier inom vÄrt ÀmnesomrÄde sponsring och varumÀrken.Empiri: En presentation av fem företags sponsringsverksamhet och deras syn pÄ hur sponsring kan anvÀndas i syfte att pÄverka företagets varumÀrkesimage.Slutsats: Företag anvÀnder sig först och frÀmst av sponsring för att positivt pÄverka sin varumÀrkesimage och för att nÄ ut till sin mÄlgrupp.

Purpose: We wish to gain a deep knowledge about product development processes in relation to the aspect of time in companies in highly technological and rapidly changing markets. The purpose is to establish how organizations better can employ time as a resource to make the product development process more efficient. Hur pÄverkar egenmÀrkta varor ett företags image, samt överensstÀmmelsen mellan ett företags image och profil?

Syfte: Syftet med vÄr uppsats Àr att undersöka hur ett företags utbud av egenmÀrkta varor pÄverkar företagets image, samt imagens överensstÀmmelse med företagets profil. Vi vill i vÄr undersökning gÄ djupare in pÄ om kunderna upplever att kedjornas EMV ger dem ett mervÀrde, vilken image kunderna förknippar med livsmedelskedjorna och deras egenmÀrkta varor, samt om det finns ett gap mellan den faktiska imagen och företagets profil. Metod: För att lÀttare kunna applicera vÄra teorier har vi valt att arbeta med tvÄ fallföretag, och dÄ ICA och Coop Àr tvÄ av de största aktörerna pÄ livsmedelsmarknaden valdes just dess tvÄ företag. VÄr uppfattning Àr att det Àr lÀttare att se tydliga mönster i konsumtion och beteende om man studerar tvÄ företag som har stor kundmedvetenhet, vilket vi anser att ICA och Coop har. De empiriska studierna bestÄr av en kvantitativ enkÀtundersökning med 50 slumpmÀssigt utvalda respondenter, samt tvÄ kvalitativa intervjuer med EMV- ansvariga pÄ ICA och Coop.

In several countries that have been early in the development of wind farms, there is today a second hand market for the used wind turbines. The European Union (EU) has established a waste hierarchy in order to minimize throwaway mentality. The second hand market is a part of this as the steps are to minimize, reuse, recycle, extract energy and landfill.In order to promote the development of renewable energy, there are energy certificates for the producers that provide it, wind power being one type of renewable energy. After 15 years the energy certificates for a specific wind turbine are no longer paid, and after that there are several different scenarios for the wind turbine. The scenarios investigated in this bachelor?s thesis are export of the wind turbine to countries that are not as far along as Sweden in their development towards renewable energy, selling in Sweden to individuals, and recycling of the wind turbine, as it mostly consists of metals and therefore is recyclable.

By surveying conceptions of SLU Alnarp?s resources and competence among its students and personnel, this thesis has the purpose of inventing identity, positioning and image of SLU Alnarp. The underlying idea is that the analysis of the opinions of the students and the personnel will provide the SLU management with new ideas and general advice for an innovative strategy for success. Four quantitative interviews with selected representatives from different staff groups were performed. In order to obtain a differentiated view of the employee thoughts and opinions on the university, five persons were selected to be interviewed ? all with different types of responsibilities.

In Sweden according to the planning and building Act municipalities have planning monopoly. The question about shopping centres in the outskirts of cities is a regional issue, because they attract customers from a large area. Municipalities often find it hard to assert themselves against large commercial companies when it comes to their establishing new retail outlets on the outskirts of cities. Without a regional co-operation there is a risk that municipalities can be played up against one another, so that more and more companies are given permits without the municipalities having taken the strategic consideration necessary for a long term sustainable development. The focus in this work is on four municipalities in the Södertörn region (SödertÀlje, Botkyrka, Huddinge and NynÀshamn).
