Denna studies syfte var att undersöka hur rektorer, trÀ- och metallslöjdlÀrare och hem- och konsumentkunskapslÀrare tar sig an utmaningen ?hÄllbar utveckling? i skolan och i respektive Àmne. För att ta reda pÄ detta har jag utgÄtt frÄn en kvalitativ metodansats dÀr jag intervjuat fyra rektorer och sex lÀrare i Àmnena trÀ- och metallslöjd och hem- och konsumentkunskap. Rektorer och lÀrare delade med sig om sina tankar kring begreppet ?hÄllbar utveckling? och vad begreppet betydde för dem personligen.

The project has been oriented for development of fixtures to ateljé Lyktan to provide a more efficiency line. In the year 2012 the company invested in a new coating booth, which leads to opportunities to upgrading the fixtures and also new design. The request is to minimize the area for storage of fixtures, and therefore should fixtures be designed to apply as many articles as possible The priority of products that fixtures have development to has been products that are most frequently coated and new products that don?t have any fixtures. The product families that the project has been having focus on is TIME and FOVEA with RONDO. In the developing of fixtures have ideas been discussed with the staff, and instructions were made about how you are suppose to hang up the different products.

During the year 2014, Artex AB has worked to launch a new product whose function is to locally purify the air. The product is a headboard and its purpose is to give the user clean air while sleeping. The air purifier has different speeds and it`s up to the user to choose which effect that will be on. To get the best experience of the product as possible, the air purifier shall be controlled by a mobile application. In that way the user can increase and decrease the fan speed, even when the user not is home.

The project in question is a joint effort between students at Karlstad University and Marcus Norström at the company Hovercraft solutions. The project is divided into two parts, one focusing on the purely technical aspects of engineering the product and one focusing on the design aspects of the product development. The project described in this report is the design of the product. The assignment from Hovercraft solutions is regarding design engineering of a cabin for the hovercraft 380TD from the manufacturer Griffon hovercraft. The product lacks a cabin and none is offered from Griffon at the time being. 380TD is a relatively small hovercraft with a length of 6.8 metres and a width of 3.8 metres.The surface available for the cabin is not much different from the body of a car.Because of this, research has been focused primarily on car bodies.The product development process used in the project is following a systematic approach.From a chosen concept, the project was finalized with a CAD-modell as well as a detailed prototype.The weight target of 80 kg was reached and the ergonomic aspects were considered developing the sight field, roof- and entrance height.    .

Studien syftar till att genom kvalitativa intervjuer och fokusgruppsintervjuer undersöka hur begreppet hÄllbar utveckling tolkas av lÀrare och elever i gymnasieskolan. De frÄgestÀllningar som anvÀnds Àr Vilka miljöpolitiska diskurser gÄr att skönja i de olika tolkningarna av begreppet hÄllbar utveckling? samt Finns det nÄgon dissonans mellan lÀrare och elevers sÀtt att tala om och uppfatta begreppet hÄllbar utveckling? För att svara pÄ frÄgestÀllningarna har den kritiska diskursanalysen anvÀnts som metod och begreppet hÄllbar utveckling som teoretisk inramning. Begreppet hÄllbar utveckling Àr vagt definierat och innehÄller inga tillvÀgagÄngssÀtt som behövs för en hÄllbar utveckling. Innebörden av begreppet ligger snarare i uppfattningen om hur ekonomiska, ekologiska och sociala delar interagerar med varandra och dÀrför Àr det fruktbart att se begreppet som en diskurs.

The shooting sport is one of the most widespread sports in the world and it isbeing practice in most countries. Based on their own experiences, in competition -and hobby shooting, the client M4Solutions found a demand and need for ashooting target that is manufactured in Sweden.The purpose of the project has been to develop, with the help of Marcus Walldén,two shooting targets from idea to finished product. These two shooting targets,Plate Rack Target and Dueling Tree, would each be equipped with a mechanicalresetting system but will in the future have the ability to be provided with anelectronic resetting system.The project from the client was divided into two theses. One of these two, writtenby Marcus Walldén, focused on the tripod parts and the overall design work forboth Plate Rack Target and Dueling Tree. The thesis that is presented in thisreport have focused on resetting systems, the design of protective plates and otherperipherals for both shooting targets.This work has primarily been in CAD environment where design, constructionand development has been given free rein.

The company Bergteamet, Boliden, Sweden, is installing ventilation shafts of the Garpenberg mine. For such work a platform is needed which you can stand on and work from. The Shaft Reinforcement Team at Bergteamet performs the installation work and is the sponsor of the platform. The project described in this report is performed at the department MEC, Mining Equipment Construction, which has been given the task to design and construct the platform, customized for the current shaft. After this the platform is manufactured and inspected at the workshop at Bergteamet.The design work was carried out as follows:- After an initial meeting a requirement specification was worked out, describing the problem and previous experiences of platforms and requirements for the design and equipment.- A concept sketch was developed with consideration of surrounding factors.- A constructed 3D model was presented along with the choice of materials.

Syftet med vÄr studie Àr att fÄ syn pÄ hur fritidspedagoger uppfattar sin kompetens och arbete med hÄllbar utveckling. Vi inleder vÄrt arbete med en historik om fritidshemmet och hur arbetet med hÄllbar utveckling uppkommit i stort och hur detta Àmne tog plats i lÀroplanen. För att fÄ syn pÄ vÄrt syfte har vi genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer med tre yrkesverksamma fritidspedagoger pÄ tre skolor i en inlandskommun i Norrland. I denna inlandskommun ska alla skolor vara miljöcertifierade inom ramen för Är 2010. Resultaten av intervjuerna visade pÄ att alla fritidshem kÀllsorterar och komposterar men det Àr bara ett fritidshem av tre som har ett aktivt och medvetet arbete inom omrÄdet för hÄllbar utveckling, detta trots att alla skolor i denna kommun skall inneha eller validera upp sitt miljöarbete till en certifiering enligt Skolverkets ?skola för hÄllbar utveckling? eller certifieringen ?Grön Flagg?..

Our employer, Gaddad, is a tattoo and piercing community that was created in 2006 with the basic idea to make it easier for people to get in touch with the tattoo artists and piercers from all over Sweden. With the homepage?s popularity at 2009 they decided to expand with the news page Inkzine. 2011 they contacted us with a plan to expand the homepage to Europe and then merge their two sites under the name Inkzine.The goal of this project was to create design suggestions for Gaddad / Inkzine that both the administration and the current users liked and would consider implementing on the website. In order to evaluate the current design and our suggestions we decided to use two questionnaires .

This paper is about transferring a feeling from a physical place to the Internet. The paper explores methods on how this transfer is done. Websites have a tendency to not portray the company behind it in a correct way. For companies with a distinct esthetic and work hard on their image and brand it is important that this hard work is portrayed correctly in every aspect. The problems this paper explores are: the importance of personas in a design process, methods of transferring a feeling from a physical place with design and how this can be tested, and using open-source content management systems in creating usable websites.

I studien genomförs en analys av begreppet hÄllbar utveckling och dess koppling till de tankar som brukar förknippas med ekologisk modernisering. Vidare beskrivs och diskuteras relationer och samband mellan den hÄllbara utvecklingens tre dimensioner; miljön, ekonomin och det sociala. Arbetet för hÄllbar utveckling pÄ den regionala nivÄn sker utifrÄn nationella ramar men det Àr pÄ den regionala och kommunala nivÄn som ansvaret för initiativtagande och prioriteringar ligger. Det Àr viktigt att ha kunskap om hur begreppet hÄllbar utveckling har kommit till och diskutera vad som menas med begreppet för att förstÄ vad begreppet syftar till och hur det bör tillÀmpas i det regionala utvecklingsarbetet. Med hjÀlp av indikatorer Àr det möjligt att följa och utvÀrdera arbetet för hÄllbar utveckling.

The core of our exploration revolves around the idea of co-operation as a tool for examination, a collective working method, the input/output within creative practices as well as a phenomena in its own right? It is however not ?simply? about collaboration, but rather places as much focus on a highly personal search for new working methods, new approaches towards research and on the development of our relationship to graphic design. Abstract During object-oriented system development, programming should be preceded by analysis and design to assure that the system fulfils the demands of the customer and simplify during the development phase and documentation. When modeling the analysis and design phases, several different notations may be used. One of these is the UML (Unified Modeling Language) which this thesis will cover. The aim is to compare the use of the UML i practice versus what is said in the literature. The investigation is built upon interviews at different companies to receive their reflections about the UML.
