AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to study in what way teachers in preschool work with pupils enabling them to gain influence and involvement in their learning.Influence means being able to make your voice heard which is an important component of a democratic society. Involvement is about being part of a community in which everyone is welcomed regardless of beliefs and opinions. Several of today's researchers believe that learning occurs in interaction between people. Teachers providing meaningful assignments to pupils, they become more motivated to learn.The study is based on observations of how teachers work with influence and involvement in controlled sessions, and interpretations of them. My results show that children become involved in their learning when they are confronted with a variety of pedagogical approaches to learning.

This essay follows a Media Teacher in her work as a coordinator and an artistic leader for a European project called Legalopoli concerning laws and ethics in a senior level school for 13-16 year-olds in Mora, Sweden. The students write film stories about how their characters have to make choices in ethical dilemma situations. Then the learners create interactive computer games together through practical film work. At the same time we can see how the educator also gets into difficult ethical situations, when she is working with the students. This forces her to self-reflection.

Efter att ha läst Riesbecks avhandling, Interaktion och problemlösning ? Att kommunicera om och med matematik, fann vi av intresse att undersöka lärarens betydelse för en meningsfull muntlig matematisk kommunikation som ger eleverna en matematisk förståelse. Utifrån klassrumsobservationer och lärarintervjuer i skolår 2 och 3 ville vi ta reda på hur kommunikationen ser ut i klassrummet och även hur läraren förhåller sig till denna. Vårt resultat visar att läraren har en avgörande roll för den muntliga kommunikationen, vilket också de intervjuade lärarna är medvetna om. Däremot kom vi fram till att det lärarna framhöll som viktigt i kommunikationen, praktiserade de inte alltid i undervisningen då de dominerade kommunikationen..

I denna empiriska studie behandlas miljöundervisningen för en hållbar utveckling, utifrån fritidspedagogers och fritidshemmets perspektiv. Syftet med studien var att undersöka fritidshemmets syn på begreppet hållbar utveckling och lyfta fram hur fritidspersonalen arbetar med hållbar utveckling. En kvalitativ intervjustudie låg till grund för data insmlingen och resultatet visar att fritidspedagogerna i sin miljöundervisning främst ser begreppet som naturvetenskpligt där de i praktiken arbetade med källsortering och återvinning. En viktig del i fritidspedagogernas arbetssätt var att arbeta utifrån ett socialt perspektiv, där undervisning skedde i diskussion och dialog med eleverna. .

A co-operation is established when a group of people, sharing the same preferences and values, come together in order to satisfy a common need. The co-operative association should be democratic, governed and supervised by its members and open to everyone. The purpose of this article is to, from our ideal type, study similarities and differences regarding the corporate governance of the consumers? and the producers? co-operative movement. The motive behind our choice of alignment is that the mechanisms of corporate governance often are described from the perspective of the joint-stock company, making it valuable and interesting to study these mechanisms from the co-operative point of view.

People are given better opportunities to participate in polity today. Democratic equality entails that all individuals are equal and therefore they should be included in the process of making the decisions. How can participation be defined and does it mean that having the possibility to participate means that people can influence the process of making the decisions in polity process?This paper focuses on participation and influence in polity and examine the relationship between having the possibility to participate and having the possibility to actually influence polity process on more local level. Therefore I have been examining the citizens? participation and influence in Helsingborg which is my case study.

I uppsatsen behandlar jag frågan: Vilka verktyg främjar en enkel väg till berättande med tekniken animation?Jag ifrågasätter idén om att man bör veta vad man ska berätta och hur historien ska vara konstruerad, innan man börjar berätta. I stället vill jag visa att förmågan till berättande finns inom oss alla, och jag vill i detta arbete prova en metod för att låta berättandet byggas upp i interaktion mellan ting, rum och människor. Mitt didaktiska syfte är att utarbeta ett pedagogiskt tänkande kring hur jag kan handleda elever till ett aktivt och kreativt skapande av berättelser genom animation.Detta har jag undersökt på två sätt. I den första undersökningen skriver jag om och analyserar mitt arbete som handledare i animation med särskoleelever på Utbildningsradions medieverkstad (UR) Pedagogiskt forum.

Tanzania is today one of the greatest aid recipients in the world, but still - after over 45 years of huge amounts of aid - one of the poorest and least developed countries. How can that be? Civil society is said to benefit the democratization process, but has not succeed in Tanzania. Has the extensive aid had any impact? Our purpose is to investigate this set of problems.We are using theories concerning civil society and aid in general, and the theoretical framework developed by Hadenius and Uggla ?Making Civil Society Work, Promoting Democratic Development: What Can States and Donors Do??, in particular.

Det här examensarbetet handlar om litteraturläsning ur ett receptionsperspektiv, hur man kan arbeta med skönlitteratur i undervisningen i grundskolans senare år och då speciellt hur man som lärare leder goda och utvecklande boksamtal med eleverna. Arbetet består av en litteraturstudie och en undersökning. Undersökningsmaterialet utgörs av transkriptioner av två boksamtal samt elevernas reflektioner inför och efter samtalen. Studien visar att i en medveten och välplanerad litteraturundervisning, där elevernas läsupplevelser får stå i centrum, kan eleverna i mötet med skönlitteraturen få värdefull kunskap om sig själva och omvärlden. I boksamtalets dialog fördjupas deltagarnas läsupplevelser och de får möjlighet att uttrycka och pröva sina intryck, uppfattningar och värderingar..

Studiens syfte var att utforska kvinnors erfarenheter av oönskadsexuell kontakt med män. Åtta kvinnor i åldrarna 22-41 intervjuades. Studiensresultat visade att erfarenheterna skett i samspel med mannens vilja som nav.Kvinnornas handlingsutrymme begränsades av förväntningar, sanktioner,svårigheter att avvisa samt tvingande handlingar. Erfarenheterna hade osynliggjortsspråkligen och socialt. Begripliggörandet av det som skett var komplicerat fördeltagarna.

The purpose of this study is to examine and explain why three Swedish public libraries failedin their ambition to act as information services for small and medium-sized firms (SMF). To support this purpose two major assumptions are made:1) Public libraries who plan to run this kind of "business" must act with the same means as "professional" services.2) The service must be adjusted to the information needs of the customer.Based on these assumptions sixteen factors which are crucial to the "success" for this kind of service are presented.Applied to the information services of Lidkoping, Sölvesborg and Västervik, these factors reveal a number of shortcomings and mistakes made by the libraries.To understand this result these information services are seen as parts of a traditional Swedish public "library-thought". It is shown that, fundamental ideas in the way the public libraries are defined, like the responsibility to act in a neutral and democratic way, also characterised the three information services.These ideas together with the opinion of SMF as a "rational" information-consumer resulted in information services who did not meet the information-needs and information-behaviour of SMF..

Denna studies syfte var att få en fördjupad kunskap om hur lek kan stimulera barn till ett språkutvecklande arbetssätt i förskolan. Utgångspunkten för studien var det sociokulturella perspektivet på språkutveckling och lärande genom lek. I undersökningen deltog tre pedagoger som arbetar i en förskola lokaliserad i utkanten av staden Malmö till vilket jag har anknytning som lärarkandidat. Jag har använt mig av den kvalitativa metoden där jag intervjuade tre förskollärare. Resultatet av studien visar att de tre intervjuade pedagogerna var eniga om att dilaogmetoden socialt utvecklande och språkutvecklande i leksituationer. Pedagogernas uppfattning var att dialogmetoden kan användas vid utomhus- såväl som vid aktiviteter inomhus.

Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study was to illuminate and compare how teachers and parents are describing the homework. The study will also attempt to answer these issues; How is the purpose of the homework described from teachers and parents? How are the effects of the homework described by teachers and parents? How do teachers and parents describe the responsibility for the implementation of the homework?Methods: Qualitative study, a comparison between teachers and parents description of the homework phenomenon. The material that forms the discussion are fetched from blog forums.Summary of conclusions: The Swedish school system is based on democratic values. This means that the students are supposed to gain equal opportunity for qualified education independent of their socioeconomic backgrounds.
