This paper is a study of documentary film production with focus on the filmmakers choice and usage of sound equipment. Using professional articles and literature have first of all helped us determine a standard for the conventional use of sound equipment in documentary film. Afterwards, by analyzing our own interviews we?ve received answers on how filmmakers relate to the conventional usage and why they select equipment as they do. Thereafter, we describe a technical method which helps a filmmaker to be able to record sound for documentary film on his/her own, using simple measures without reducing quality.

The Swedish security policy has changed from stressing neutrality to embrace co-operation within the EU and other organisations. New threats like terrorism, boarder-crossing criminality and natural disasters require new ways to deal with this type of problems to protect the society. Since the beginning of 21st century the high Russian economic growth has made it possible for the country to play an increasingly role as a superpower on the international political stage. In the same time the democratic development has been replaced by an autocratic rule which has obstructed the Russian- European relations. From a Swedish security policy view the Russian political development is of importance and the picture of Russian as a threat has changed from 1996 to 2008/09.

Denna uppsats har som syfte att belysa manliga bönders identitetsskapande i dialogen mellan yttre bilder och egna erfarenheter. Materialet består av inspelade intervjuer med bönder som är aktiva lantbrukare i en socken norr om Västerås. I sitt identitetsskapande förhåller sig bönderna till sina egna erfarenheter samt de samhälleliga föreställningar som finns om dem och deras yrke. Studien behandlar hur bönderna konstruerar och presenterar sin verklighet i dialog med dessa föreställningar. Analysen utgår från Pierre Bordieus teori om habitus och kapital i kombination med teorier om narrativt identitetsskapande.

Upplevelser av coaching hos operativa chefer i en stor organisation, som genomgår en förändringsprocess gällande arbetet kring rehabiliteringsprocessen, har behandlats utifrån en kvalitativ forskningsansats. Lärandet är en naturlig del av det dagliga arbetet för cheferna i denna stora organisation och de som intervjuats har erhålligt individuell coaching. Coachingen bygger på en lärlogik där utveckling och lärande står i centrum vilket nås genom samspel och dialog människor emellan där utgångspunkten är att se på lärande som en process knutet till erfarenheter, reflektion, kommunikation och förståelse. Chefernas arbete är präglat av flexibilitet, ansvar och utveckling. De coachade cheferna har upplevt coachingen på olika sätt och fokus i resultatet ligger därmed på de olika upplevelserna.

Sociala medier innebär ett nytt och revolutionerande sätt att, för svenska serviceföretag, skapa en tvåvägskommunikation med ett stort antal användare. Genom sociala medier når serviceföretagen ut till fler användare och kan skapa nöjdare kunder. Detta för att serviceföretagen förmedlar en service till kunderna i form av att möta dem i en kanal där de kan föra en dialog. Med rätt strategi, resurser och tillvägagångssätt kan användandet av sociala medier skapa fördelar till svenska serviceföretag och stärka deras kommunikation och marknadskommunikation mot kunderna..

The aim and research questions of this study are concerned about how, and what kind of, problems and subjects that citizens raise during verbal interaction with politicians and officials in the field of participatory democracy. The theoretical framework of the study dominates by theories with a positive approach towards participatory democracy, but there is also a broader discussion on the phenomenon?s strengths and weaknesses.The case in focus of the study is a specific phenomenon of participatory democracy created by the municipality of Växjö. The empirical material that is analysed is consisted of written text based on the verbal interaction from these meetings between citizens and politicians/officials.The outcome of the study shows that most of the verbal interaction was held between citizens and politicians/officials in a vertical direction and that a major part of the responsibility concerning the raised subjects is estimated to be in the hands of the latter part. In the light of under what circumstances the meetings are practised, the democratic and collective minded performance of the citizens is argued to be in good condition, despite the dominating vertical interaction and estimation of trust..

In this study we examined co-workers experiences of having a previous colleague as their leader, which is relatively common. We made qualitative interviews with six social welfare administrators who had been through this situation at work. The questions had been concentrated at how they were affected by the previous relationship, what expectations they had, and their view of how the business had been handled by their leader. The result of these interviews has then been connected to two leadership theories. The conclusion of the study was that the experience of the situation differs.

With this as a starting point, Huyen Nguyen ? a student at the Innovation Engineering Program at the University of Halmstad ? decided to make a final thesis project. In recent years the liberal representative democracy has been subject of a substantial critique because of its inability to accommodate difference and createa genuinely democratic political process. One such critique comes from the theory of deliberative democracy. Supporters of deliberative democracy try to promote a model of democracy that take its vantage point in free and equal deliberationbetween all relevant actors in a political community. This model has with some success opposed the aggregative model of democracy, and in important ways turned the attention to the potential of deliberative processes.However, the deliberative model is still somewhat underdeveloped when it comes to issues of diversity and difference. This essay deals with such deficiencies by analysing deliberative democracy in the light of the critiquelaunched by difference- and radical democrats.

This thesis is about how ideology affects the way leadership literature measures good and bad leadership qualities. The paper argues that ideological influences in leadership literature, from a teacher perspective, complicate the understanding of leadership in its practice and theory. The methodological tool used in this thesis is an idea- and ideology analysis approach applied on leadership literature that is used in teacher education. A theoretical discussion about the definition of leadership and its possible ideological connotations sets a frame for measuring ideological influences in the texts. The analysis from the textbooks showed clear signs of ideological influences when talking about leadership.

When Sweden acceded to the European Union in 1995 the term social economy was introduced to the Swedish context, gradually replacing the term civil society. This replacement can be seen as an indicator of a changing meaning of what the concept of civil society used to stand for.The aim of this essay is to study if it is possible to identify changing perceptions of the role of civil society for democracy in Sweden in government bills between 2002 and 2008, and, if so, what effect does this have on the delineation between the civil society and the government.An analytical model is proposed consisting of two dimensions which both capture the roles of civil society for democracy and the model examines how those roles relate to the government.The conclusion is that the government still sees the main function of civil society as a democratic school and a change agent for democracy. However, there is strong evidence to suggest that the civil society is increasingly regarded as more of a welfare producer than a fosterer of democracy..
