The purpose of the study was from the perspective of young people that has completed a stay at HVB-home. The respondents are between 15-21 years both boys and girls. The basic questions were: How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service process? How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service contents? How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service regarding available information and how the staff is available? What positive and negative experience do they have from their stay at the HVB-home? We also wish to get a picture of what is important to change to improve the quality on this HVB-home. To receive answers to those questions we formed a questionnaire.

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to present why boys and girls choose to enroll at the Swedish Baseball and Softball Academy, a form of sport profiled education given within the Swedish high school system. A secondary purpose is to present the types of expectations the adolescents have before enrollment, while also examining what they encounter as satisfaction factors during their time at the academy. The results show that the significant factors critical for the eventual enrollment are friends, passion and development within baseball or softball. Before the enrollment, students have expectations of good, quality and hard practices. The students state that factors such as friends and the community where the academy is located is important for their wellbeing and comfort.

SAMMANFATTNINGVårdpersonal möter patienter med självskadebeteende på olika avdelningar inom sjukvården. Vårdpersonalen har ofta svårt att bemöta denne patientgrupp eftersom de trots allt vårdar patienterna efter bästa förmåga ändå skadar sig igen. Detta väcker frustration och negativa känslor som vrede och mindre sympati för dessa patienter. Oftast är det unga kvinnor som lindrar sin ångest med att skada sig själva medan unga män oftare väljer att vara våldsamma eller aggressiva. Syftet med studien var att belysa vårdpersonalens uppfattning och bemötande av patienter med självskadebeteende.

BAKGRUND: Litteraturen antyder att sjuksköterskor stigmatiserar och diskriminerar patienter med vissa diagnoser, i synnerhet schizofreni och borderline personlighetsstörning (BPS). BPS beskrivs som den psykiatriska diagnos med störst laddning och kring vilken det florerar flest stereotypa fördomar.SYFTE: Genom granskning av befintlig forskning i form av originalartiklar publicerade i vetenskapliga tidskrifter avser denna studie att sammanställa befintlig kunskap om sjukvårdspersonals attityder till patienter med borderline personlighetsstörning med eller utan självskadebeteende.METOD: Systematisk litteraturstudie. Litteratursökningar utfördes i databaserna PubMed, CINAHL och SCOPUS.RESULTAT: 21 studier inkluderades i resultatet. En rad olika studier påvisade en allmänt negativ attityd gentemot patienter med BPS med eller utan självskadebeteende. Vårdpersonal skattade mer negativa erfarenheter av att vårda patienter med BPS i jämförelse med schizofreni och depression.

Självskadebeteende hos tonåringar och unga vuxna har fått ökad uppmärksamhet de senaste decennierna. Beteendet kan fungera som ett sätt att hantera svåra känslor, men innebär också ett stort lidande. En fungerande vårdrelation är central för att få till stånd en fungerande vård av patienter med självskadebeteende. Men vården av denna patientgrupp rapporteras ofta som problematisk, då sjuksköterskan upplever frustration och patienten upplever vårdlidande. Fortfarande saknas mycket kunskap om självskadebeteende och effektiva behandlingsmetoder.

Syftet med studien är att är att studera skillnader i mottaglighet för emotionell smitta, anknytningsstilar och personlighets drag så som temperament och karaktär är hos personer diagnosticerade med Asperger jämfört med personer som inte har någon diagnos. Ett annat syfte är att studera samband mellan emotionell smitta, anknytningsstilar samt personlighetsdrag såsom temperament och karaktär. Åttioåtta försökspersoner deltog i enkät studien varav femton personer hade en Asperger diagnos och resterande sjuttiotre inte hade någon diagnos, i enkäten fick de svara på 293 påståenden som involverade emotioner, anknytning och personliga temperaments och karaktärsdrag. Samband och skillnader mellan grupperna undersöktes sedan. Resultatet visar att det existerar skillnader mellan grupperna.

The aim of this university paper was to understand how eight former clients at Staple reformatory had experienced their stay there. The clients at Staple are young people between 13-20 years old, both boys and girls.The basic questions were: What picture do the clients have of the treatment they received?What has been, from their perspective, the most important during their stay? Do the clients think the time spent at Staple has helped them? And how do they describe their change, if there was any?We gathered the information from the youngsters with qualitative interviews based on a manual divided into covering different themesWe found that the time at Staple had been very positive for all the former clients that we interviewed. They described the relations with the staff at Staple as central for their rehabilitation. The most important task for the people that work there is to set a good example for the client, and to be role models.

This essay investigates the results of participation by teenage girls in feminist groups, the so called girl groups. These groups are descendants of the awareness-raising groups of the 1970?s feminist movement. The essay assumes the relevance of theories of heteronormativity and performativity, as well as theories surrounding two different ways to organize girl groups. It is done either through the Pippi-feminism, named after strong independent book character Pippi Longstocking, or through the collective empowerment feminism.

I remember visiting a man with lung cancer. He asked his wife to leave the room. As she closed the door he leaned over and grabbed my arm.

I have conducted a study and examined the significance and extent of bullying. I will also examine whether any students in grade eight have been victims of bullying during the past year and where bullying was carried out in school X. The second objective is to explore what students think about the concept of "taunting". I have used various theories of researchers to get an understanding of what bullying is, where it occurs, causes, and suggestions for measures. To get an answer on the purpose and issue a quantitative method was used in the form of a survey. Target group for the survey consisted of students from grade eight schools in X which is located in a suburb of Stockholm. Two classes of grade eight in School X carried out the survey during the same day.Results showed that bullying occurs at X school, but that the proportion of boys has been more subjected to bullying than girls. The majority of the students in the both classes believed that most cases of bullying occur in school hallways, playground and cafeteria. It may be one reason why school X does not have guards or other members of staff. The majority of students also considered in the survey that the concept of "taunting" is to call each other by words of ?genitalia". I think that the use of foul language has become common in today's schools.  .

This is an essay about how disabled young people look upon themselves and their handicap. The purpose of the essay was to illustrate how the identy and self-image of young disabled persons is formed during their youth, and also how they experience their handicap during this time in life when you compare yourself with friends and other significant persons.My questions were:1. In what ways is the identity and self-image affected by being handicapped?2. Which experiencies do handicapped young people have when it comes to how other people treats them?3.

This study aims to investigate expressive writing in young adolescents, based on the model constructed by J.W. Pennebaker. Qualitative analysis of written essays has been conducted, the main purpose being exploring descriptions of relationships and expressions of emotions. Further-more, the intention has also been to study eventual gender differences and their forms of expressions in the essays. The participants were seventh- and eightgraders, gathered from two schools in Sweden.

I denna uppsats har vi undersökt hur brukarorganisationer upplever narkotikapolitiken ochnarkomanvården i Göteborg. Detta har vi gjort genom att intervjua representanter för olikabrukarorganisationer inom missbruks- och beroendeområdet. Hur upplever brukarorganisationerna attnarkotikapolitiken och narkomanvården i Göteborg fungerar? Hur tänker brukarorganisationerna attden framtida narkotikapolitiken och narkomanvården i Göteborg borde se ut? På vilket sätt uppleverbrukarorganisationerna att enskilda brukare samt brukarorganisationer utövar konkret inflytande pånarkotikapolitiken samt inom narkomanvården i Göteborg? Tre brukarorganisationer i Göteborgmedverkade i studien: KRIS (Kriminellas revansch i samhället), RFHL (Riksförbundet för rättigheter,frigörelse, hälsa, likabehandling) och SBF (Svenska brukarföreningen). Studien har en kvalitativansats och brukarorganisationernas svar analyserades utifrån ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektivmed teorin Claims-Making.
