Syftet med denna studie är att skapa en Definition av begreppet praktisk kunskap. För att uppnå detta har en litteraturstudie genomförts, i vilken elva relevanta filosofer och deras teorier har belysts. I analysen utkristalliserades åtta olika komponenter i praktisk kunskap. Det råder konsensus dessa filosofer emellan om att denna är kopplad till handling och/eller är grundad på erfarenhet. Den praktiska kunskapen är kontextualiserad och i vissa avseenden råder det ett dialektiskt förhållande mellan teori och praktik.

Purpose: The aim of the study is to analyse why the socialworker at the socialservices havn?t implemented the perspective of woman as subordinate and men as superior.Questions: Is the perspective of woman as subordinate and men as superior significant for the socialworker? Is the organisation, colleagues or de individuals thought structure of importance when it comes to implement the perspective? Does the socialworkers view of the clients as victims have an impact on the fact that the perspective has been given interest? Method: Critical case study. Flexible design; The study is based on interviews with socialworkers and study of documents and statisticsConclusion: One of the central findings of the field study was that the implementation of the perspective of woman as subordinate and men as superior was of no use for the socialworkers as they saw it. The findings showed that the Definition of a victim was not used or that they were unconscious that the Definition of a victim did affect them in their work. The possibilities for the organisation to learn is of  importance for the implementation of the perspective of woman as subordinate and men as superior.

The purpose of this thesis is to explore pupils' motivation for participating in Physical Education. The thesis also investigates the Definitions of sport and health and to what extent pupils make any connection between the school subject physical education and their own physical and health status. A semi-structured interview was carried out with thirteen upper secondary school pupils with special needs on the Individual Programme. The interviews were recorded digitally and then analyzed. The results show that there is no unified Definition of the school subject among the pupils.

The purpose of the study is to investigate how social workers within different areas of work in Malmö, who comes in contact with persons who have been subject to honour-related violence, sees the problem, if they have any special view on the cause of the violence and investigate the efforts which are offered to individuals who have been or are subject to honour-related violence. I wanted to investigate if there exists a universal view among social workers in Malmö of the Definition of and way of working with persons affected by honour-related violence. Various reports show that there exists great disagreement among debaters as well as social workers regarding the Definition of honour-related violence. There are also different sentiments about the cause of honour-related violence within research. I conducted four interviews on five individuals employed within different areas of work in Malmö which comes in contact with girls and women who have been subject to honour-related violence. My study shows that there exists great dissent among social workers regarding the term honour-related violence, the cause of the problem and the concerned areas of work works with different ways with persons which they come in contact with..

The fundamental purpose of the CFC-legislation is to prohibit and prevent tax evasion undertaken by such companies that own other foreign companies where generated income is subject to low rates of taxation. The CFC-legislation aims to provide the Swedish government with an op-portunity to tax this income. This is important in order to prevent tax avoidance and preserve the integrity of the system of taxation within Sweden. In order for the CFC-legislation to be as effective as possible there must exist a clear way of defining which activity that is to be regulated within its scope.

The aim of this thesis has been to discuss whether remainders of colonial influences exist within the UN's Definition of torture or not. The discussion has been presented from a postcolonial point of view, in dialogue with contemporary power critical theorists. In order to raise awareness of a potential colonial influence, the following questions were intended to be answered:?                                        Are there any reasons, if so ? which ones, to regard the UN's Definition of torture as a colonial project? And;?                                        To what extent is the term ?inhumane? limiting for the prohibition against torture from a postcolonial perspective?One of the most central arguments of the chosen theories is that the term ?inhumane? evokes prejudices that a racializing apparatus within the social norms of the UN automatically produces. These prejudices are, according to the theorists, influenced by images of people in non-western and non-secular (especially muslim) societies as more prone to exercise ?violence? and ?cruelty? towards their own citizens as well as towards the population of the world in general.

This study deals with integration between core subjects and character subjects on the upper secondary schools Electrical Engineering Programme. The purpose is to investigate how four teachers define subject integration, which the advantages and disadvantages are according to them and what the purpose is whit integrate the core subjects and the character subjects.The finding in this study highlighted that between themselves the teachers had different Definitions of subject integration. Syftet med denna studie är att utifrån pedagogers Definition av begreppet utomhuspedagogik belysa pedagogers didaktiska ställningstaganden i samband med den pedagogiska verksamhet som bedrivs utomhus inom förskola och förskoleklass.Studien utgår från Anders Szczepanskis Definition av begreppet utomhuspedagogik, där utomhuspedagogik ses som att: lärandets rum flyttas ut, växelverkan mellan sinnlig upplevelse och boklig bildning samt att platsens för lärandet är av stor betydelse.För att besvara studiens syfte och frågeställningar har det genomförts sex samtalsintervjuer och sex utomhusobservationer. Resultatet visar att respondenterna inte definierar begreppet utomhuspedagogik på samma sätt som Szczepanski. Vidare visar resultatet utifrån de didaktiska ställningstaganden pedagogerna tar i samband med sin utomhusverksamhet att hälsa ses som den största anledningen till att bedriva pedagogisk verksamhet utomhus. Pedagogerna ansåg inte att platsen för lärandet hade någon betydelse utan de menade istället att planeringen är det som betyder något. Den slutsats författarna till studien kom fram till var att det inte i enlighet med Szczepanskis Definition, bedrivs utomhuspedagogik på respektive förskolor och skola..

The purpose of this essay is to investigate the term equableness in the Swedish elementary school with a take-off point in the free school reform from 1992. This essay starts with the political background of the terms equableness and freedom of choice and the official governmental guidelines. Research from Bo Malmberg and Gabriel Sahlgren act as a framework for the whole essay as their theories are tested. The main problem is presented as the question: is the debated concern regarding a lowered equableness since 1992 justifiable? Both researchers define equableness as a difference in grades but undertake a collective versus a more individual approach.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur lärare på en grundskola som undervisar i teoretiska ämnen uppfattar sin roll som handledare för eleverna i verksamheten, men även hur lärarna arbetar med handledning av elever. Studien genomfördes med en kvalitativ ansats och den datainsamlingsmetod som användes var den halvstrukturerade intervjun och totalt intervjuades åtta lärare. De resultat som framkom i studien var att lärarnas Definition av handledning bestod av två aspekter, dels den sociala delen och dels den pedagogiska. Lärarnas Definition visade att de båda aspekterna är lika betydelsefulla och har lika stor plats i Definitionen av handledning.
