Until the 1st of January 2003 there were thirteen processed meat products provided with name protection in Sweden. These products had to contain a certain amount of meat and/or a certain amount of fat to be allowed to carry a recognized name. Among these thirteen products, one could find, for example, meat balls (köttbullar), liver pâté (leverpastej), and Falun sausage (Falukorv). While imports of these products started to increase, the system with name protection lost its ability to guarantee a certain quality for all products sold in Sweden and the legislation was removed on December 31st 2002. At the same time, a common Definition of meat was adopted in the European Union.

In this paper I propose a Definition on what right-wing populism is, by comparing three right-wing populist parties; the Swedish Democrats in Sweden, the Danish Folks Party in Denmark and the Progress Party in Norway. This is also my question formulation. I have used the idea analysis to straighten out the concept of right-wing populism. AbstractIn 1998 the United Nations held a diplomatic conference on the establishment of an International Criminal Court in Rome. In the end of the conference the negotiating states adopted the Rome Statute by which an international criminal court was established. The court, which entered into force on 1 July 2002, has jurisdiction over the crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. The court also has jurisdiction over the crimes of aggression but the court will only be able to exercise its jurisdiction of this crime category when the member states of the court have found a Definition of the crime.In the draft statute, which was prepared before the conference, acts of terrorism were a proposed crime. With the starting-point in the Rome conference this essay studies how the working-Definition of crimes of terrorism was elaborated in the draft statute and how the state delegations viewed the crime.

This thesis aimed to, with the help of a case study, investigate and discuss state responsibility towards climate refugees. The state of Tuvalu was selected because of their vulnerability as a low-lying island state. This was fulfilled by on-site study how the state Tuvalu acted to climate threats, determine if the future migrants from Tuvalu can be counted as climate refugees and find out if they are by that Definition included by the UN Refugee Convention. The result indicated that the state of Tuvalu is adapting to climate threats, that in the future the population can be seen as climate refugees, if they are forced from their homes due to climate change, and that they, despite that Definition, can not be included by the UN Refugee Convention. The study also indicates a need for greater international protection of climate refugees by, for example, an expansion of the UN Refugee Convention so that these vulnerable people do not fall into oblivion due to a question of Definition..

The purpose of this thesis is to study the relationship between the Definition and bibliographical classification of a certain academic subject; social anthropology. The theoretical framework consists of views held in Information Science regarding the Definition and classification of subjects. The methodological onset is based on hermeneutical concepts that allow an extended analysis of abstract structures of thought. This analysis comprises of two parts; a descriptive analysis and a comparative analysis. Sammanfattning Jag har i denna uppsats sammanfogat två litterära teorier genom att använda ett väletablerat begrepp, hybriditet, inom den ena teoribildningen, postkolonialism, på en annan teoribildning, postmodernism. Under arbetet med uppsatsen har jag brottas med en enhetlig Definition av hybriditetsbegreppet men insett att en sådan inte existerar, jag har därför citerat vad ledande teoretiker på området har skrivit om begreppet och sedan försökt hitta beröringspunkter för att kunna skapa en enhetlig Definition. Jag har presenterat denna, personliga Definition av begreppet i uppsatsen. I uppsatsen har jag påvisat hur olika forskningsdiscipliner ser på hybriditetsbegreppet och via ett annat etablerat begrepp inom sociologin, flanören, har jag gett ett exempel på hur postkolonial litteraturteori och postmodern litteraturteori kan överbryggas. Jag har också skapat ett nytt begrepp för att underlätta överbryggandet av gapet mellan postmodern litteraturteori och postkolonial litteraturteori i uppsatsen, den hybride flanören..

The purpose of this paper is to examine how the term "pupils in need of special support" is defined in Swedish central policy documents. The essay is based on a social constructive contribute knowledge about the term?s Definition and interpretation with support in a range of scientific texts. Försvarets materielverk (FMV) står inför en omfattande ominriktning av verksamheten med tillhörande omorganisation. Den nya verksamheten innefattar att leverera tjänsten försvarslogistik till Försvarsmakten (FM). Då det inte finns någon entydig Definition för vad försvarslogistik är så har detta arbete inriktats att utarbeta ett förslag till en sådan Definition. Syftet med denna uppsats var att beskriva och precisera innebörden av finansiell kris sett ur ett revisorsperspektiv, samt huruvida revisorer bevakar ett företags ekonomiska ställning för att i tid upptäcka om ett företag är på väg in i en finansiell kris. Undersökningen grundar sig på fem djupintervjuer med revisorer i Malmötrakten. I analysen av studien kom författarna fram till att det kan vara svårt att ge begreppet finansiell kris en Definition som passar i alla situationer.
