Today, about 15 to 20 percent of Sweden?s total emission of carbon dioxide can be traced to the household sector. By examining apartment blocks in a life cycle perspective, the origin of the carbon dioxide emission has been charted and analyzed. This information has been used to create a computational model that calculates the total emission of carbon dioxide from a specific apartment block. The results from the analyzed apartment blocks indicate that both the use of energy and the emission of carbon dioxide have been reduced since the 1960s. Through the examination of building materials, it is possible to lower the emission of carbon dioxide that origins from the construction phase of an apartment block.

Scania is constantly trying to improve their product development process, the PD-process.The company, along with others, is optimizing their development process in order to gainadvantage in terms of shorter lead times and larger market shares. For this to happen, a wellorganized process is required.The PD-process is divided into three different phases that are linked together by a hand-overprocedure. Scania Bus has experienced problems that stem from a lack of hand-over routines,and as a result the product development process has been slowed down. This has a number ofconsequences, one of them being the complication of new project initiations.The main purpose of this master thesis was to review the hand-over procedure. Within thestudy the project directive was also to be examined, and a recommendation of how the start ofa new project could be made easier was included.To begin with, a detailed literature study was conducted with the intention of obtaining thebasic theoretical knowledge needed for this study.

AbstractThe ideas of adulthood, adolescence and childhood in Swedish law have a tendency to not be expressed or discussed. This thesis has focused on the preparatory work of the sexual offence-law to see whether it defines adulthood. This has been achieved by analyzing the documents related to this preparatory work. The thesis focused on two central questions: 1) Was the idea of adulthood an integral part of the discussions in the preparatory work 2) If so, then how was it defined and are there any contradictions in the definition. In addition, this work also evaluated the impact of this law and investigated whether the absolute protection intended by the government and the committee of sexual crime seek actually exists.The study shows that the concept of adulthood was not defined specifically in the preparatory work.

The object of this essay is to discuss the relationship between the definition of the concept of gender equality and attitudes towards gender equality and their consequences for gender equality measures. The point of departure is feminist political theory and interviews about attitudes towards gender equality at a department at the University of Linköping. The conclusions of this study is that there are a wide range of definitions and attitudes, and these conceptions are not necessarily the same as those being pointed out in the official gender equality policy at the University of Linköping. In this study the opinions of measures for gender equality among the interviewed are widely spread. Some finding Swedish men and women already being equal and therefore there is no need for measures, since this would result in discrimination of men since women would gain advantages from being women.

Syfte: Syftet med detta arbete är att beskriva hur fyllnadsgrad som nyckeltal ska användas för att redogöra för Sanfridssons Åkeris miljöarbete avseende utnyttjande av lastkapaciteten. Hur fyllnadsgraden begränsas samt vilka förutsättningar nyckeltalet har ska därmed förklaras. Vidare syftar arbetet till att ge Sanfridsson Åkeri AB ett motiverat förslag på vad som bör dokumenteras och hur informationen ska samlas in.Metod: Studien har genomförts som en fallstudie av företaget Sanfridssons Åkeri AB. Insamling av data har gjorts genom en kvalitativ undersökning i form av öppna intervjuer. Respondenterna representeras dels av VD och medarbetare på fallföretaget men även ämneskunniga personer från myndigheter, intresseorganisationer, akademin samt transportköpare.Teori: Teorin behandlar fyllnadsgraden som nyckeltal för resursutnyttjande, samt dess begränsningar.

Dagens samhälle är präglat av ett enormt reklamutbud och reklamstrategier. I denna djungel av marknadsföring har företag ibland valt en annan strategi, en relativt outnyttjad strategi, som baseras på rykten om produkten, tjänsten eller företaget och är det som används som marknadsföring. Denna strategi kallas för word of mouth. Ena syftet har varit att undersöka hur word of mouth definieras av olika författare. Genom att göra en jämförelse av teorier av begreppet word of mouth har ett försök gjorts att skapa en definition av begreppet, som tillämpas på vårt andra syfte med undersökningen.

This report describes the development of a system for controlling documents. The report starts with a problem description which the company wants an intranet-based solution for. The report then continues to describe the development phase for the different parts of the system which results in a complete system. The company that wanted this system is called Orbit One and is located in Ronneby, Sweden. They have had a problem with old documents circulating in different versions and in different binders.

The result of the simulationshows that the energy of the pressure ripple is reduced when the paralleled hydraulicpumps are phase shifted and reduces each others pump pulsations.

Syfte Studiens syfte var att ge en översiktlig bild av läsprocesser, texter och texternas ursprungliga sammanhang som undervisningen utgår från i årskurs 1 på gymnasiet och de specialpedagogiska konsekvenserna som detta får för de elever som är svaga läsare. TeoriDe teoretiska utgångspunkterna är ett sociokulturellt perspektiv, en gemensamhetsorienterad definition av begreppet inkludering och Pisas definition av läsförståelse.Metod För att få svar på frågorna i syftet utformades en webbenkät i verktyget Surveymoneky. Frågorna i enkäten formulerades utifrån Pisas ramverk för läsförståelse och delades upp i samma kategorier som användes där, dvs. slag av text, läsprocess och sammanhang. Enkäten skickades via e-post till lärare som undervisar i årskurs 1 på 10 olika gymnasieskolor.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningarSyftet var att undersöka idrottslärares uppfattning av friluftslivsbegreppet och eventuella samband med det friluftsliv som genomförs i grundskolan år 6-9.1.      Vad är idrottslärarnas uppfattning av begreppet friluftsliv i förhållande till Friluftsgruppens definition av friluftsliv?  2.      Vilken typ av friluftsliv genomförs av idrottslärarna under lektionstid och på friluftsdagarna i år 6-9?3.      Hur ser de eventuella sambanden ut mellan vilken typ av friluftsliv som bedrivs och inställning hos läraren samt andra förutsättningar i arbetssituationen?MetodVi har konstruerat en internetbaserad enkät som skickats ut via e-post till 194 slumpmässigt utvalda idrottslärare, åtta till tio lärare per län. Vi tog fram beskrivande statistik samt undersökte korrelationen mellan enkätsvaren i statistikprogrammet SPSS.ResultatI snitt överensstämde idrottslärarnas uppfattning till 80 procent med Friluftsgruppens definition av friluftsliv och ingen hade en överensstämmelse lägre än 60 procent. Friluftslivet i skolan domineras av moment som dans, lagbollspel, löpning, orientering och simning. Det som förekom minst var klättring, långfärdsskridskor, paddling, ridning samt övernattning i tält/vindskydd.

A game designer has to consider several aspects when he or she is designing a game. One of those aspects is the perceived freedom in the game by the player. There exist several methods to facilitate this perceived freedom in the design phase of the game. This thesis presents, in a qualitative methodology, a number of these methods a game designer might utilize to give the player a heightened sense of freedom for an improved gaming experience. Included herein are such elements as indirect control, linearity, storytelling and level design..

The Innovation- and Design Engineer program at Karlstad university is a three year long engineer education. In the last phase a final piece is to be done and in this case Boda Borg in Skellefteå is the company in need of product development. Boda Borg is a company in the experience industry and they are located in nine cities from Gällivare in the north of Sweden to Karlskrona in the south. The veterinary handling of wildlife, both in zoos and in the wild, commonly requires that the patients need to be captured and immobilized for examination or treatment. This emphasises the need for quick, on-site, laboratory equipment, in order to minimize the analysis time and thus the stress for the animal and also in order to increase the possibility of starting relevant treatment early on. The aim of this pilot study was to determine whether Serum Amyloid A (SAA) could be a measured in blood samples from bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), Asian elephants (Elephas maximus) and South American tapirs (Tapirus terrestris). SAA rises to its maximum about 24 hours after the introduction of an inflammatory agent in companion animals. This also correlates with the estimated time it takes for animals at Kolmården Wildlife Park to be examined and having blood samples collected after being observed as sick. The study also evaluated whether the Eurolyser SOLO, using a turbidometric immunoassay (TIA) developed for human diagnostics, could be used for such analysis. This pilot study was a retrospective analysis of SAA in convenience sampled frozen serum, collected from dolphins, elephants and tapirs.

Ett uttryck som har uppkommit inom den internationella beskattningsrätten under det senaste året är BEPS. Begreppet står för Base Erosion and Profit Shifting, och syftar till det projekt som OECD driver åt G20:s vägnar. Projektets syfte är att skapa förutsättningar och verktyg för länder att motverka aggressiv skatteplanering som eroderar länders skattebaser. Projektets resultat är i skrivande stund inte färdigt, men det finns mycket som tyder på att vi kommer att se en förändring inom både intern och internationell dubbelbeskattningsavtalsrätt inom de kommande åren.Ett av fokusområdena inom projektet är OECD:s modellskatteavtals omdiskuterade definition av fast driftställe. En definition som vi i Sverige delvis använder oss av vid utformning av definition till fast driftställe i IL 2:29, och där modellskatteavtalets kommentarer används vid tolkning av paragrafen.
