Interaktionsdesign på webben - - Att påverka attityder till crowdfunding och mikroinvesterande genom grafiska komponenter och design

In this paper we have investigated which visual components that are of importance when designing a website with the purpose of influencing peoples attitudes in a positive direction regarding the specific phenomenas crowdfunding and microinvestments. To investigate how people respond to these concepts we made a survey. The survey showed us that the respondents were indecivise regarding risktaking and that personal interest was of great importance weather the respondents were to invest or not. Therefor we included visual components in the design with the purpose of expressing professional and trustworthy impressions and at the same time reach the user at an emotional level. In the following interviews that we made we tested if our visual components had the intended effects.

Snus och dosor - Förpackningsdesign, märke och identitet

The purpose of this essay was to examine the packaging design´s communications related to the colloquially brand's symbolic capital and how they became meaningful through experience and perceptions that led to the identification processes in the consumer society. There were eight interviews of snuff users who became my main collections materials. My theoretical framework was discourse psychology´s emphasis on language and Bourdieu´s concept provided important tools in the analysis of the material.I could highlight that packaging design and the brand had influenced the informants and given them symbolic beliefs and what it meant to sniff a certain brand. Color, brand awareness and price were crucial in choosing where the informants attributed themselves the cans symbolic values to their identity. It could be inferred high and low status perceptions based on stereotypes in the design itself..

Att kommunicera förtroende online genom visuell design : En kvalitativ studie av hur färg, form och foto kan påverka användarens förtroende för en e-handelswebbsida

Att kommunicera förtroende är en nyckelfaktor för att lyckas inom e-handel. Förtroendeinom e-handel påverkas av flera faktorer, där visuell design är en av dessa. Dennauppsats avser att inge fördjupad förståelse för hur den visuella designen spelar roll ianvändarens upplevda förtroende till en e-handelswebbsida. I denna uppsats fokuserarjag på att undersöka hur förändringar av olika grafiska element i en webbsidas visuelladesign påverkar användares upplevda förtroende för webbsidan. För att undersöka dettautfördes flera tester där användare själva fick beskriva sina tankar och åsikter om denvisuella designen och hur de upplevde förtroende till webbsidan baserat på den visuelladesignen och förändringarna av den.

Boktrailern : varför marknadsföra text med ljud och bild?

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att introducera boktrailern som fenomen och marknadsföringsmetod. Likheter mellan boktrailern, bokomslaget och filmtrailern undersöks för att ge en bild av hur en "typisk" boktrailer ser ut och vilka funktioner den kan tänkas ha. This Bachelor Thesis in the area of Computer Science and Work Science describes the process of design and development of an IT-tool between the municipality of Ron-neby and TietoEnator a development and consultancy firm, the Gothenburg office. The thesis focuses mainly on the cooperation between the consultant designer and the local municipal. Through cooperation, the organisation is incorporated into the tool and the tool is incorporated into the organisation. Concepts that are central in this thesis are design, cooperation and tailoring. A question raised is, if distance work and extensive cooperation might be a good way of working in the process of design and development, when the organisation is being incorporated into the tool.

This report presents thesis of Liisa Kokkonen in collaboration with Muovikilpi Oy.The project?s goal is to find a new construction for an existing lamp made of acrylic. This is a thesis on information design with a focus on text design. The purpose of this study is to gather knowledge about how information on the Easy-to-Read website, of the police, should be composed so that immigrants more easily will be able to read and understand the content. The goal of the study is to present a design proposal based on the knowledge that has been found through principles for readability, theoretical perspectives and literature, together with methods; readability analysis and interviews. The interviews were performed individually with the coordinator at polisen.se as well as four students from SFI (Swedish for immigrants). The study showed that the content on the website of the police is not adequately adapted to the needs of the target group. It also exhibited that the website's disposition is unclear, and that complicated terms are not explained.

To improve their design methods Ericsson Microwave Systems AB is interested in using computer tools to create a link between the specification and the implementation of a digital system in a FPGA. Xilinx System Generator for DSP is a tool for implementing a model of a digital signalprocessing algorithm in a Xilinx FPGA. To evaluate Xilinx System Generator two testcases has been designed. Den utvalda användaren : En studie om känslan av utvaldhet på researrangörers hemsidor

This thesis tries to define factors that impact upon the feeling of exclusivity for users on travelorganizers websites. We have identified seven key factors that we believe impact this feeling andthose factors are newsletters, special offers/auxiliary services, registration/limited information,price, limited number of seats on a journey, deals for members and personal service. To researchthis we have conducted a questionnaire and performed interviews with people that are familiarwith travel organizers websites. To create an understanding for the results we have studied usercenteredweb design, affective design and the meaning of pictures. The results show that personalservice and price are important factors to make users feel that they get their requirements andwishes met.

Utvärdering av den auditiva modaliteten i förhållande till grafik i multigränssnittsspelet Sightlence

Denna uppsats syftar till att utvärdera ljudmodaliteten i multigränssnittsspelet Sightlence, genom att jämföra gränssnitten grafik mot det grafisk-auditiva gränssnittet. 16 personer har testats och intervjuats i en studie med mixed design. Kvalitativa och kvantitativa datum har använts för att kunna jämföra resultat och upplevelser i spelets två gränssnitt, och för att undersöka om förbättringar skulle kunna göras med avseende på ljudets användbarhet i spelet.Resultaten visar att det inte finns några skillnader mellan de två gränssnitten vad gäller prestation eller underhållningsvärde, vilka mättes kvantitativt. Det visade sig dock att kvalitativa data gav information om att majoriteten av deltagarna upplevde att det var mer underhållande att spela med ljud även om det inte upplevdes som prestationshöjande. Det framgick även att ljudet påverkade spelarna på två olika sätt, några spelare ansåg att ljudet gjorde spelet mer fängslande och att de blev mer fokuserad på spelet, medan andra spelare såg ljudet som ett hjälpmedel som gjorde att de kunde fokusera visuellt på något annat än spelet.

In the report the final results and the road to get there is described as well as thedesign process and how the process is used to obtain the goal of this thesis.The author of this thesis has developed the design and the function of an interactive videoterminal (IVT) and by using semantics created an encouraging gaming design. The projectspurpose was to change the anonymous withheld shape and produce an experience of gamingmachine that has been absent. The work was aimed to answer the question: How does oneproceed to develop the IVT and by using semantics creating an understanding of gamingmachine?In general the author wants to show that small changes, with the help of design and its signals,can completely change the overall picture of a product.

The purpose of this thesis was to increase the understanding and discuss safety aspects in two stairwells on Nyforsgatan in Eskilstuna, where the buildings were built during the years 1965-1975. I have presented a proposal for improvement through lighting. I have through different methods, such as surveys, interviews, literature studies and observations, come to a conclusion: that there are opportunities for improvement through better lighting that allows orientation in space and creates a nice atmosphere which will remove the feeling of not being safe, e.g. dark corners and shadows. It has been an exciting process to gather enough of facts to rely on and to develop the lighting design for the environments.
