The employee turnover rateof Trygg-Hansa?s outbound department in Växjö is too high according to the officemanager.Purpose: Understand the causes of high employee turnover in a Swedish insurancecompany.Methodology: This thesis consists of an ethnographic study of a Swedish insurancecompany.

ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was to describe various methods of treatment and effects of treatment of ADHD, and to investigate wheater there is an association between adults with ADHD and obesity. Method:  Literature review. Twelve quantitative scientific articles were found in the data bases PubMed, Cinahl and MedLine.  Result: ADHD is a cognitive impairment that can lead to serious complications such as obesity. Studies show that drug treatments of adults with ADHD have positive effects in terms of reduced symptoms, increased efficiency and improved quality of life, but drugs can also cause side effects in form of loss of appetite and insomnia. For adults with ADHD and obesity drugs that affect metabolism have a significant impact on patients ability to lose weight.

This is a study of the novel Mes mauvaises pensées (2005) by the French writer Nina Bouraoui. I use an intertextual comparative method, where I read the novel against three intertexts: Marie Cardinal Les mots pour le dire (1975), the David Lynch movie Mulholland Drive (2001) and novels and photographies by Hervé Guibert. Main focus is on the relation between body and language. Using the psychoanalytic theories by Julia Kristeva I examine the melancholy of the narrator in Mes mauvaises pensées. The melancholic subject mourns a Thing which is the unrepresentable archaic mother.

In this thesis a prototype board for data aqcusition is designed and manufactured. The board is compliant with Compact PCI Express and it can sample an analog signal with two time interleaved ADC:s. Furthermore, the board is also equiped with one FPGA for the possibility of signal processing. The task of this project was to build an computer processing system for pressureregulation, in which the pressure loss over the open hydrolicvalve should be kept as low as possible. By using an cross connected proportional directional valve the valve problem could be solved. The control- and regulationproblem for the pressureregulation system was solved by using the DAQ- card NI6035E from National Instruments and the computerprogram Automatic Pressure Control 1.0 which has been software developed and written in Visual Basic. The final result showed that correct processvarible was obtained in 0,5 seconds, when the setpoint was changed in the testarea 0 - 2,5 MPa..

The aim of this study was to describe the prevalence of gingivitis, periodontitis and dental caries in individuals with type 2 ? diabetes. The study was conducted in a form of a general literature review with the restricted to the following conditions: human studies, English, and articles published between 2007 - 2012. Articles lacking a control group were excluded. The data were collected through searches of the medical database PubMed. A compilation of 11 scientific articles was examined.

Användartillfredsställelse har visat sig vara ett viktigt mått på informationssystems framgång. Mycket forskning om användartillfredsställelse med traditionella informationssystem har utförts. Data Warehouse är dock ett nytt fenomen som på flera sätt skiljer sig från traditionella informationssystem. Denna uppsats syftar till att utforska vilka faktorer som är viktiga för användartillfredsställelse med Data Warehouse samt att diskutera kring dessa faktorers betydelse. För att kunna göra detta har en flerfallsstudie med fem användare utförts.

This study analyzes the implications of one type of external forces in aid-focused NGOs through two qualitative case studies where it is investigated if Sida?s reporting requirements have the intended effects: learning and control using a theoretical framework where it is recognised that the requirements may also result in dysfunctional behaviour: decoupling and colonisation. The study shows that when the demands are the result of institutional pressure rather than an ambition to generate learning and control, the demands tend to be unrealistic and the NGOs therefore decouple the formal fulfilment of the demands from the actual activities. It is argued that a partnership, which incorporates trust and dialogue, is a prerequisite, not only for learning, but also control.

In Sweden the main principle is that interest expenses are deductable. The rules of limitations on interest deduction are exemptions to this main principle. Idag har vi mängder av data på våra lagringsmedia vilket gör dem till en värdefull informationskälla. Om denna data raderas betyder det inte att den är borta för alltid. Data finns fortfarande kvar på lagringsmediet och går att återskapa med så kallad file carving. Att kunna återskapa data är en viktig del inom den polisiära verksamheten, men även för andra verksamheter som förlorat data. Det finns dock vissa problem som kan ställa till med besvär när data ska återskapas. När filer inte är lagrade i sammanhängande datablock blir de fragmenterade vilket innebär problem.

Detta arbete har som utgångspunkt att specificera, implementera och utvärdera ett verktyg som har som syfte att ta fram resultat från frågeställningar mot registrerade data från flygplanssimulator. Detta görs genom framtagning av kravspecifikation och en iterativ programutvecklingsmetod. Ett utvärderingstest i simulator utfördes för att samla data som sedan analyserades med verktyget. Detta för att undersöka om det går att hitta tillfällen där hög kognitiv belastning upplevdes..

Behovet av datautbyte mellan olika system, ökar ständigt. Därför byggs fler och fler system med möjligheten att utbyta och överföra data via XML. Då olika system lagrar data på olika sätt, måste de strukturella och innehållsmässiga skillnaderna hanteras innan data kan överföras.Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur dataöverföringar mellan XML-dokument i flera steg påverkas av strukturella eller innehållsmässiga skillnader. Arbetet visar i vilka fall data inte kan överföras korrekt. Studien utförs genom en experimentell metod.
