Upplevelser av livskvalitet i samband med en pacemakeroperation : En litteraturstudie

The purpose of this literature study was to describe how patients experience their quality of life while undergoing a pacemaker implantation. Searches were carried out in the databases Academic Search Elite, Ebsco Host, Pub Med, Pub Med Central, Science Direct and manually. Keywords used were quality of life, treatment outcomes, emotions, pacing and life. This resulted in nineteen peer rewieved articles that were selected for the study results. The results showed that patients undergoing a pacemaker implantation experienced an improvement in their physical health with increased functional status, more energy and strength.

iSvea-Föreningsnätverk : Få kunden att gå hela vägen - en kvantitativ studie om hur reklamen för en IT-tjänst ska utformas för att tilltala föreningar i Sverige

Syftet med undersökningen är att beskriva hur reklamen för ett IT-företag ska utformas så att föreningar i Sverige ska förstå och övertygas av dess innehåll.Vi har genomfört en kvantitativ undersökning bland föreningar i Sverige. En webbenkät skickades ut via mail till 1056 stycken föreningar över hela Sverige där de fick utvärdera ett reklamblad. Av de 1056 föreningarna ringde vi till 204 stycken och frågade om de kunde delta i undersökningen. Totalt deltog 259 stycken i vår undersökning. Undersökningen pågick under en vecka. Resultatet visade att majoriteten av respondenterna fick en positiv attityd kring reklambladet.

Företag på Facebook : Hur de sprider information och interagerar med sina medlemmar

Social media on the Web has become more common over the last decade and in recent years it has grown immensely. The social media with the highest amount of members is Facebook, where not only private persons are found - companies started to establish their profiles on the network in 2006. However, little is known about how these companies succeed and reach their audience with information dissemination and interact with them. The aim of this study is to contribute with information to local companies on how they can manage to maintain their activity with different approaches and strategies. This study examines how three different local companies chooses to spread information and maintain relationships with their members on Facebook.

Hur leds en organisation på distans? : En intervjustudie med ledare inom laboratoriemedicin.

I denna studie har jag undersökt hur ledarskap på distans bedrevs av ledare med chefsuppdrag inom laboratoriemedicin. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur cheferna beskrev vad som utmärkte ledarskapet på distans, vilka egenskaper en ledare behövde för att leda en organisation på distans och hur de kommunicerade med sina medarbetare.  Jag har i denna studie intervjuat åtta ledare på olika nivåer. Sex av informanterna arbetade inom två olika landsting och två arbetade åt en privat vårdgivare. Vid genomgången av intervjumaterialet framkom nio olika teman vilka var specifika egenskaper, delegering, resor, motivation och feed-back, avstämmande kommunikation, kommunikationsformer, mötesformer, medarbetarsamtal och information.

"Man måste brinna för det man gör": en studie av arbetsledarnas arbetssituation inom handikapp- och äldreomsorgen i Halmstad kommun.

The focus in this paper was on managers in the middle position in the care of the elderly and people with disabilities. The aim was to develop knowledge about the conditions of work among managers in the middle position and what they characterized as good leadership and which strategies they used in their work. The empirical data consisted of nine qualitative interviews with managers in the middle position in the municipality of Halmstad.The frameworks that mainly limited the middle managers' discretion were laws, political regulations and most of all it was the allocated budget. Their discretion was found closer to the operation such as working methods, recruitment and changes in job schedules. The middle managers spent the majority of their working hours with personnel administrative work and that they often had to prioritise among their tasks.

Systematiskt arbete för att hantera osäkerheter vid mätning : vid Q-Med AB i Uppsala

This report is about helping Q-Med AB in Uppsala to start its implementation of uncertainty of measurements analyses in their manufacturing department. Prior to this, the company relied solely on personal experience or did not take this uncertainty into consideration at all during different kind of measurements, which means that some of the processes that the company previously believed were within specified acceptance limits, will actually fail when considering these sources of uncertainties.Q-Med AB needed some sort of instruction to help the company, in a systematic way, to investigate different types of disorders that are affecting all kinds of measurements. This instruction includes a short summary about measurements and uncertainty of measurements in general and a detailed procedure about how these uncertainties are going to be handled in their daily work.The goal was to be able to use this instruction to systematically locate, eliminate (when possible) and analyze all kinds of disorders when measuring. Q-Med is using a lot of different types of instruments when measuring different types of quantities, including temperature, mass, pressure and density. This instruction will hereafter be used for every instrument, regardless of quantity and type of instrument.The instruction is tested through 4 different kinds of measurements, for mass, temperature and humidity.

Auditing demands knowledge in many diverse areas. To be able to provide all this knowledge it is necessary for the auditor to have access to persons with special skills. Through these contacts the auditor builds up a business network that brings support in the daily work. Our purpose with this study is to find out how auditor?s network in big auditing firms is organized and to show how they use their network.

Att känna trygghet i förskoleklassen : Hur några pedagoger arbetar med att skapa trygghet för barnen i förskoleklassen

My purpose with this study was to research how a few teachers work with the children in preschool class to achieve a group that the children feel safe and comfortable with. Every human being has got the need to feel safe and with this study I want to illustrate the importance about working to achieve safety for children in preschool class, and environment that is new to them. In order to try to get answers to my research questions I have interviewed five preschool class teachers. The results showed that the teachers work in a way that makes the children feel safe by helping them establish the daily routines and common rules for the preschool class. They also let the children in the preschool class get to know each other and other children in the school by play and shared activities.

Den digitala slöjan : En kvalitativ intervjustudie om Facebook som scen för den svensk-muslimska tjejens framträdande

The purpose of this study is to find out how Swedish Muslim girls use Facebook and its functions in constructing their Muslim identity on the platform. The study is based on a qualitative method which consists of nine interviews with Swedish Muslim girls between the ages 17-23 and who use Facebook daily.The study is based on the view of Facebook as a scene where individuals can perform for an audience. I have used Erving Coffman?s dramaturgical perspective that explains why individuals appear in an appropriate manner to achieve confirmation from their audience. I also used theories about identity construction, community and the theory about how individuals create a social presence online.

Världen vill bedragas : arkitekturtävlingar och presentationsteknik som retoriskt knep

The purpose of this essay is to analytically review and discuss architecturalcompetitions, mainly through the general views of a few selected workinglandscape architects, architects and scientists. I have studied the moral and workethicalaspects of using graphical presentations as a mean to draw attention,rather than trying to meet the set program points.My results are derived from e-mail interviews, literature studies and studies ofthe competition entry Stockholmssfären from the competition Stockholmsportenwhich was held in Sweden early 2011.The literature studies have shown that the available literature on architecturalcompetitions and research on the subject is biased towards architecture ratherthan landscape architecture. Worth mentioning is also that there is not a lot ofavailable literature, mainly due to lacking research on the subject.The informants for the interviews were selected based upon their academicmerits and/or experience of working with or doing scientific research onarchitectural competitions. The landscape architects? opinions regardingarchitectural competitions turned out to be in many ways alike ? they seemed tohave a pretty relaxed view of competing in architecture.

Kommunikation mellan offentlig och privat sektor : En studie mellan Mariestads kommun och dess företag

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att förbättra kommunikationen mellan Mariestads kommun och företagen i kommunen, för att därigenom förbättra näringslivsklimatet i Mariestads kommun. För att uppnå syftet är det två delproblem som har undersökts. Vilka kanaler används när kommunen kommunicerar med företagen och hur fungerar kommunikationen mellan kommunen och företagen. En intervju har genomförts som blev en del av grunden till den enkät som skickades ut till 211 aktiebolag i Mariestads kommun. I undersökningen delades företagen in i olika grupper beroende på storlek av företag.Resultatet visade att de kommunikationskanaler som användes mellan kommunen och företagen var lokaltidningen, brev, informationsmöten, telefon, mail, kommunens hemsida och personliga besökDet visade sig att kommunikationen mellan Mariestads kommun och företagen har stor betydelse för näringslivsklimatet.

e-CRM : En fallstudie av bokbranschens e-företag

SyfteVi vill med uppsatsen öka förståelsen för fenomenet e-CRM ur ett företagsperspektiv. Med detta vill vi beskriva hur den nätbaserade handeln, utifrån ett relationsperspektiv, fungerar och hur företag medvetet jobbar med att bygga lojala förhållanden med de egna kunderna.Vi har därtill arbetat efter tre forskningsfrågor som är sammanhängande med syftet:Vilka möjligheter till e-CRM har e-bokhandeln ur ett relationsperspektiv?Hur skapar nätbaserade företag kundrelationer utan den fysiska aspekten?Hur ser kundkommunikationen ut hos nätbaserade företag?MetodI uppsatsen har vi valt att göra en studie av kvalitativ karaktär bestående av fem intervjuer. Vi utgår ifrån en fallstudie som är grundad på bokbranschen då det idag finns många bokföretag som är renodlat nätbaserade. De genomförda intervjuerna är byggda på fyra personliga intervjuer och en e-mail intervju med personer som besitter god kunskap inom ämnesområdet samt arbetar inom bokhandelsbranschen.SlutsatserGenom vår analys har vi gjort en urskiljning av hur företag inom e-bokhandeln använder sig av e-CRM och hur de utan fysiska aspekter kommunicerar med kunden.

The introduction and operation of the ISO 14001 requires significant financial and human resources and it can therefore be questioned whether the environmental managementsystem is adaptable forall companysizes.The purpose of this studyis to examine whether EMScan provide environmental and economic benefits for companies of all sizes and ifthe conditions to get certifiedaccordingto ISO 14001 is the same for large and smallcompanies.A literature study was made to collect information on company'simplementation of ISO 14001.

Livet för patienter med hjärtsvikt : En litteraturöversikt

Background: Patients with heart failure is a patient group growing in numbers, the most common treatment focuses on reliving symptoms and the only cure is heart transplantation. Objective: Aim of the study was to illuminate patients' experiences of living with heart failure at his home. Method: Qualitative design, with a manifest content analysis. The results are based on 12 scientific articles.  Results: Patients with heart failure find that the disease is limited to their daily lives through mental illness and physical symptoms.

Att leva med AutoCorrect : en studie om uppfattningen om AutoCorrects inverkan

The smartphone is part of our daily life. Smartphone users type on a screen area that is no larger than the palm of a hand. To help with this endeavor the software known as AutoCorrect was created. However little is known about how AutoCorrect actually change the language and if AutoCorrect users at all perceive the impact it has. This study aims to find out if our test subjects are aware of AutoCorrect?s presence and how much it influences them.
