Turismaktiviteter till havs har kommit att få ett ökat intresse de senaste åren, där människor har upptäckt fördelen med kryssningsfärjor som transportmedel. De erbjuder ett varierat utbud av aktiviteter och upplevelser ombord, som både privat- och affärsresenärer kan ta del av. Detta omfattar flera kundgrupper med olika behov, vilket innebär att rederierna måste uppfylla kundernas förväntningar och vad de efterfrågar. I nuläget finns det en bred konkurrens på marknaden, där de olika aktörerna försöker skapa en egen nisch genom olika marknadsföringsstrategier i syfte att skapa långsiktiga relationer.Syftet med vår studie är att utreda hur Stockholms tre största rederier, Tallink Silja AB, Viking Line AB och Birka Cruises AB, arbetar för att behålla och vårda sina befintliga resenärer, samt vilka strategier som används för att nå nya kundsegment. Vi har även utgått ifrån kundens perspektiv för att undersöka hur de förhåller sig till företagens produkter och tjänster.

Background: Commerce over the Internet has exploded in recent years. For many companies it has become a necessity to offer their products overthe Internet. This new market ought to change the conditions for relations between customers and suppliers. Purpose: Our aim is to describe and analyse the factors that influence the relations between customers and suppliers, from a customer view, when commerce is conducted over the Internet.Delimitations: The study is limited to B2B commerce with IT-products. Methodology: The thesis is based on a study of the company IMS, their e-commerce site and organisations that buy IT-products over the Internet.Conclusion: Internet opens up new possibilities for custom designed offers.

Ideologi och Kommersialisering : ?En studie om hjälporganisationers användande av sociala medier som marknadsföringskanal

The purpose of this report is to analyze and evaluate non-profit organizations way of working with social media within the organization, from a marketing perspective. We have made observations of three organizations and completed a series of interviews with representatives within the organizations.In the report we came up with five factors that are necessary for non-profit organizations in order to receive long term donations with the use of social media; Trust, awareness, involvement, interaction and Word of mouth marketing.Our result shows that the organizations have realized the potential and benefits of using social media, but have not come very far in the process of using it properly. Our conclusion is that social media can give assumptions for long term donations, if the organizations use a customer perspective and give their customers added value..

This report presents a thesis project conducted by two students at Mälardalens högskola. The project covers 15 points in industrial design and was conducted during April to June 2014. The principal of the thesis works at Plastic Produkter. The assignment was to develop equipment for an effective way to dose, mix silicon, fill a special designed plastic bag and then seal it. The purpose of this thesis is to present and describe which criteria, according to the systemfamily Configuration Management, should be met when developing a CM-tool to handlemigration data.ACT is a tool developed by Microsoft to gather information about, analyze, test and mitigateapplications in a network when migrating the IT-infrastructure of an organization to a newoperating system. The organization that is being studied wants to present the data about theanalyzed applications in such a way, that a customer can choose what to mitigate and migrate.The goal is therefore to develop a prototype (CM-tool) that will present this data.The study has shown that ACT lacks certain requirements stated by the organization when itcomes to presentation. But when it comes to the rest of the functions, ACT performs as expected.The investigation resulted in specifications and technical solution for the new CM-tool. Kundlojalitet inom lojalitetsprogram

Bakgrund Som en följd av ett hårdare marknadsklimat har allt fler företag antagit en mer kundorienterad inriktning med kundrelationer i fokus (Xie & Chen 2013). Lojala kunder är en värdefull tillgång för företag, och allt fler forskare framhåller vikten av att behålla och vårda de befintliga kunderna (Bahaedin 2012). Ett verktyg för att erhålla och behålla lojala kunder är lojalitetsprogram (Lui & Yang 2009) men inom forskningen råder det delade meningar kring lojalitetsprogrammens effekt och huruvida man erhåller lojala kunder. Motsättningarna kring programmens effekter tyder på att mer forskning krävs för att få en djupare förståelse för kundlojalitet i relation till lojalitetsprogram.Syfte Studiens syfte är att beskriva hur lojalitetsprogram och dess förmåner kan påverka medlemmars lojalitet samt påvisa hur fördelningen av förmåner ser ut hos lojalitetsprogram inom detalj- och dagligvaruhandeln på den svenska marknaden.MetodI studien har en kvalitativ ansats tillämpats i form av fokusgrupp, individuella intervjuer och en innehållsanalys. Fokusgruppen och de enskilda intervjuerna tillämpades för att erhålla en djupare förståelse för medlemmars erfarenhet av och attityder gentemot lojalitetsprogram.

Mobil diabetesapplikation

This report is about the development of a prototype of a mobile application and a web application that will help diabetes patients in their own treatment and ease diabetes nurses work with their diabetes patients. The mobile application is a digital version of a diabetes diary used by the Örebro County Council primary care to ease in diabetes treatments. The report also covers tests with users which were conducted on potential users to get some sort of feedback from groups other than customer and colleagues. Tests with users showed that there was an interest in a mobile application and it was a highly appreciated project. The web application ease diabetes nurses in their work with their diabetes patients in the way that the web application can display graphs of the patient's blood glucose level. .

Our thesis is conducted in collaboration with Draper Europe AB in Halmstad.The goal of the project has been to construct a baseline concept for the instaling of aprojector screen. Draper Europe AB, in the curent situation, have several kinds of fabrics and designs on their sceens and the cases they are in. Today if you select a screen you can´t chose the design and function of the sceens case.The arrangement of the components inside the cases was to be constructed so the assembler simply could move them to different cases. To make it even easier for the assembler and to save time, the desire of less component was mentioned. Another problem that needed to be solved was the mounting of the projectionscreen at the customer place.

TPS was based on the principles of assembly line production but unlike previous performers Toyota let the manufacturing be constantly affected by demand. At the end of the 18th century TPS was described by Womack and Jones in the book "The machine that changed the world - the story of lean producion" where TPS got the name lean. This study aims to explore how self scanning affects consumers impulse buying. Up til this day researchers are not aware how technologies like self scanning affects consumers behavior in-store. Consumers with self scanners are able to keep track of the rising sum, which could affect their buying behavior, especially when it comes to impulse purchase. Furthermore customers have to commit to scanning products which keep them from browsing the store for offers, which could limit the impulse buying. This study undertake a descriptive methodology with Beatty and Ferrells impuls model from 1998 as a theoretical platform where we examine disparities between self scanners and non self scanners.
