Marknadsföringsdisciplinens rådande paradigm idag  : Goods-Dominant Logic, Service-Dominant Logic eller något annat?

This qualitative research is a contribution to the ongoing debate among marketing researchers regarding if there is a dominant paradigm and viewpoint of marketing and which one is the most appropriate. In this study current views of marketing are identified and then compared against the older Goods-Dominant Logic of Marketing and Vargos? and Luschs? alternative Service-Dominant Logic of Marketing. The trends that have been observed are situated in the framework of Thomas S. Kuhn?s philosophy of science.

This master thesis is a study of a new electronic library reference service-project called Speak instantly to a librarian and the purpose of the thesis is to investigate a new electronic reference service and how the librarians who work with it experience it. This should be seen from an informational society point of view. The study is conducted from two questions: - What needs do the libraries have and how do they argue for the project and the chat-reference service Speak instantly to a librarian? - How do the librarians experience the personal work situation in the new reference service, and its use of chat technology? Together with interviews of a selected group of librarians from the public libraries of Göteborg, Malmö, Nacka and Stockholm, this thesis includes aspects such as the theory of the informational society by Manuel Castells, as well as literary studies of the history of library reference, the development of electronic reference service and the virtual library, and the background and the beginning of the studied project Speak instantly to a librarian. The thesis also contains an overlook of other similar library projects in the United States of America.

ABSTRACT Author: Johan PetterssonTitle: Customer Loyalty in the Swedish men's elite football - a study with IF ElfsborgPurpose Increase understanding of how to increase customer loyalty when it comes to Swedish elite football. Method A qualitative study using semi-structured interviews for deeper access to the what the people I interviewed feel about the subject. The interviews are conducted with IF Elfsborgs club president Stefan Andreasson, Goran Lohne who works with media and events, and Eric Sjölin who are supportercontact. In addition to those I alsointerviewed the supporters club Guliganernas President Anders Hultin. Analysis and conclusion The first impression and attitude is very important when a person goes from a one-timebuyers into loyal customers. This is both the theories and the interviewees opinion. Through staff training and records of how the club would like the first impression and attitude to be the clubs can reach a good level of first impression. The most dominating type of company in Sweden is the small-sized business and it usually lacks its own marketing department. The purpose of this paper was to analyze several small Swedish businesses which are specialized in different sectors of the Mechanic/Technology industry but they are similar in terms of having niched products and they are leading companies in the world. The objective was to do research about how small businesses work with marketing despite its lack of resources and capital.This survey has shown that customer contacts, customer relationships and especially for those investigated companies, it was very important to focus on globalization and product development in order to build a Point of Difference..

The new accounting of intangible assets: Effects of IFRS 3 on the accounting of intangible assets in acquisition-intense companies on the Stockholm Stock Exchange

Intangible assets are often a significant part of Swedish companies? assets. Most of these are accounted for as goodwill, arising from acquisitions. After EU:s decision to adopt IFRS as the new accounting standard, intangible assets will to a larger extent be recognized separated from goodwill. This thesis aims to quantify this change and to analyze what specific intangibles are affected most by the transition to IFRS.

This paper examines the impact of the congruence between the background music and the brand image on the customer behaviour in retail store. The essay's hypotheses are built after the famous S-O-R-model that unveils if congruence background music affects the customers' emotions, brand image and response. The aim of the study is mainly to answer if the congruent background music stimuli in the retail store environment will affect the customer's emotions and if it will increase spent time and money. The congruent background music has been selected through two pre-studies based on consumers' brand image. A quantitative study has been conducted where triangulation was applied in a real store environment, where in total 201 surveys was collected for the main study.

The issue of sick leave and an increase of ill health in the workplace is a social problem inSwedenthat is currently an important topic. Public human service organisations are one of the sectors where this is a major problem. The aim of this study is to examine what significance the leadership in public human service organisations has on the health and sense of well being among the staff within the organisation. We have chosen to look at this issue from a health promoting perspective where we focused on health factors and to what extent the management can influence and promote the possibilities for a healthy workplace with healthy staff. The results of the study are based on interviews with three leaders within the public human service sector.

Marknadsundersökning av John Deere slåtterkross 730/735 :

This examination work is about an marketing investigation of John Deere Moco 730/735 during the season year 2003. Moco 730 has an workingwidth on 3 m, and 735 has one with 3,5 m. The research results of 16 moco 730/735 are from intervju- and questionnaire made of the owners. The results also comes from intervju anwser from dealers which sold this mocos. The examination work shows comments and opinions from the customer after one seasons use. In the end of my examination work are all comments and opinions put together in a marketing analysis called swot-analys in Swedish. The analysis declare that the moco 730/735 is functional and have god quality. The future seems god for this kind of moco. The strength for this moco are god quality and the dealers god service support. The most important weakness about this moco are that the machine came out late on the market, compared to other mocos on the market. I think it´s important the have in mind that the customers are very John Deere faithful and this JD 730/735 is used for only one season..

When single-family lots are valued for development of new residential areas,the valuation is influenced by several factors. The valuation is a matter ofdefinition that varies according to its interpreter. Previous research conductedin other countries, has identified a number of value-influencing factors. Thesefactors are the basis for this study.The study's purpose is to highlight the value-influencing factors thatcustomers value and are looking for in the choice of single-family lots. Thestudy also seeks to determine if there is an unknown difference between howprofessionals and clients value single-family lots.The study showed that the value factors considered important for customersand also professionals are consistent and applicable with the factors reportedfrom previous research.

Customer Relationship Management : En studie om hur företag arbetar med CRM och orsaker till misslyckade implementeringsförsök

In relation to the paradigm shift that took place between the marketing mix and relationship marketing, and the emergence of information technology in the 90:s, the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has become a frequently used concept in marketing. Most definitions and approaches have been generated from previous studies, but the concept is still criticized for the number of failed implementation attempts. Along a discussion of the area has an elaborate theoretical foundation remained as the foundation for the study development and utilized in all the sections of the study. The study, with help from Gartner's eight building blocks of CRM, focus on how Swedish medium and large companies work with CRM, and if this is an indicator of the number of failed implementation attempts. The survey consists of two approaches, qualitative and quantitative, to provide both depth and generalizability of the study.

Vi ville ta reda på hur kunden vill bli bemött av personalen i en klädbutik. Vi har fokuserat på det personliga mötet mellan personalen och kunden. Vår rapport fokuserar därmed inte på fysiska produkter utan på personlens beteende och agerande gentemot kunden, utifrån vad den vill. Teorin vi har använt oss av speglar till stor del hur personalen ska bemöta, men inte hur kunden vill bli bemött. Vi valde att ta reda på kundens åsikter genom en enkätundersökning.

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze youth community service in the Kalmar municipality. Our focus was on juvenile offenders and predecessor of public authorities. The juvenile offenders in our study have completed youth community service. A qualitative study was undertaken which include seven interviews. Our empirical data were compared and analyzed with previous research data.

The main aim of this master thesis was to see the process of an interactive online reference service from idea to final product. The reference service we have studied is developed and used by the Library of the National Institute for Working Life in Stockholm, Sweden and goes by the name phibi. Our goal was to review the whole realization process from the reasons why a service like this was created, how the service was introduced and implemented inside the organisation and finally what the result and consequences were for both the library staff and for the users of the service. Phibi is designed to be a tool that fosters communication between the library staff and the remote users where the users get the opportunity to be helped with their questions by the library staff although they are not physically present in the library. To understand the process we conducted a case study with 11 interviews of the library staff, the superior and the initiator to phibi.

This Master Thesis within Marketing and Strategy investigates the values customers perceive within the Real Estate market in the inner City of Stockholm. The dependent variable is customer satisfaction, and it could be explained by 1) the feeling of light and uniqueness of the apartment, 2) that the apartment is of a satisfying size, 3) the address of the apartment, 4) and the economics, the common areas of the building, and the bidding process. The feeling of light and uniqueness, combined with the number of square meters, and the monthly fee of the apartment, are also identified as the price driven functions of this market. A quantitative method is used to investigate the market, where 107 apartment buyers completed a survey..
