The essay seeks to clarify some of the decisive but often obscured issues in the famous debate between Jacques Derrida and Jonn F. Searle. The debate commenced in 1977 with the publication in Glyph of Derrida?s lecture Signature Event Context from -71, followed by Searle?s Reiterating the Differences. A Reply to Derrida and subsequently Derrida?s reply Limited Inc a b c ? which encouraged Searle to renew his criticism.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka och synliggöra några olika sätt att se på musik som konst (eller icke-konst). Som metod har jag valt att göra kvalitativa intervjuer med fem personer som, på olika sätt och inom olika genrer, skapar musik eller ljudkonst. I intervjuerna har jag försökt ringa in de olika personernas syn på konstbegreppet, på musik i förhållande till detta begrepp samt på deras eget skapande. Resultaten visar på fem individuella synsätt och personliga definitioner av konst. Vilka intervjupersoner som delar varandras synsätt varierar mellan de olika frågeområdena och några generaliserbara slutsatser går inte att dra, vilket inte heller har varit målet med undersökningen.

Trots intensiva satsningar på skolans digitalisering visar forskningen att den inte leder automatiskt till förbättrat lärande och kunskapsutveckling hos eleverna. Syftet med examensarbetet var att undersöka pedagogernas syn på frågan hur IT och 1:1 kontexten kan utnyttjas för att främja elevers lärande i naturvetenskaplig undervisning. Empirin omfattar djupintervjuer med fyra lärare som undervisar i biologi, kemi eller NO. Syftet var att få insikt i lärarnas funderingar och sätt att använda IT och 1:1 kontexten för att stötta elevers lärande och det pedagogiska arbetet. Dessutom gjordes en enkätstudie bland åtta lärarstudenter för att ta reda på deras uppfattningar om 1:1 kontextens användning och effekt vid observerade naturvetenskapliga lektioner. Det empiriska materialet analyseras utifrån utvalda teoretiska utgångspunkterna som omfattar teorier av Vygotskij och Dewey kring sociokonstruktivistiskt lärande respektive inquiry-based learning samt Mishra och Koehlers TPACK modell. Kopplingar görs också till aktuell evidensbaserad pedagogisk forskning kring IT-stödd lärandet som beskrivs i forskningsöversikten. Arbetets resultat visar på konkreta exemplen på hur IT och 1:1 kontexten kan utnyttjas för att främja elevers lärande, t.ex.

Pitch Correction - is it a must? An interview inquiry about opinions concerning pitch correction in music making today. This work intends to find out what music producers, singers and those with a great interest in music really think about the use of pitch correction programs, both in the studio and live. The thoughts concerning this came when I began to work with these programs in a studio, mostly for vocal use. I realized that the thoughts and opinions about the use of pitch correction varies a lot.

An increasing number of health problems in the population and an uneven distribution of health between different groups in the society, have been identified as a problems and has therefore been put on the political agenda in Sweden. Thus, the purpose of this thesis is to estimate and discuss the significance an individual?s behaviour, in a number of areas, has on his/her level of health.The empirical material for this thesis is taken from a nationwide inquiry conducted in 2004,which was called ?Hälsa på lika villkor?? (Health on equal terms?) The material used consists of the answers and records from individuals living in the administrative district of Kronoberg. 9972 individuals were included in the sample and the answering frequency was 63,2%. To map and analyse the material, which was done mainly through crosstabs, chi-square tests and logistic regressions, the statistics software SPSS 11.5 was used.The parameter used to measure the health level is the individual?s own perception of his or her general health.

Abstract The overall aim of this paper is to examine the impact of ideologies and norms on a legal system. Against a background of a description of the hierarchy of norms in Swedish labour law and in European Union law, respectively, the paper aims to specifically demonstrate the problems caused by the different hierarchies of norms when implementing EU directives in Swedish labor law. The research question examines how the trade unions? right to industrial action towards an undertaker providing transnational services by posting of workers, is affected by the implementation of the Directive 96/71/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 1996 concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services. The paper answers the question under what conditions the Swedish trade unions have the right to take industrial action in situations of posting of workers. Through the study of sources of law and adhering to traditional jurisprudence, this paper investigates the legislation regarding trade unions? rights to take industrial action in situations of posting of workers. In addition to the jurisprudential research, a glance at the history of ideologies is provided.

Den här uppsatsen skrevs för att belysa de hinder som kan uppstå när man som musiker tar sig an nutida musik, i detta fall japansk sådan. Den inriktning som arbetet tagit är hur man genom att förändra notbilden kan komma närmare musikens kärna, samt göra instuderingen så effektiv som möjligt under en relativt kort tid. För att nå de resultat jag gjort har jag använt mig av två informanter som arbetat med två stycken för solo flöjt av Kazuo Fukushima (1930), Mei (1962) och Shun?San (1969). Fallstudiens genomförande har tagit tre veckor där informanterna som är studenter har fått studera in båda verken och därefter notera om det ena av dem (Mei) för att se om de med denna metod kom närmare kärnan i musiken och kompositörens intention.

Följande är en studie som tar sin utgångspunkt i ett förändringsarbete som pågår på Abba Seafood. Initiativet till en förändring har tagits på ledningsnivå där målet är få till stånd en förändring inom kulturen, genom att ta avstamp från ett mer problemorienterat förhållningssätt till ett mer lösningsorienterat. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka de föreställningar som ledningsgruppen respektive produktionspersonalen har gällande den pågående förändringsprocessen och att ställa dessa i förhållande till varandra. Studien avgränsas till att fokusera på hur förändringsarbetet tagit sig uttryck inom produktionen i Kungshamn samt på en ledningsnivå, övriga delar av företaget är således inte inkluderade i denna studie. För att uppnå studiens syfte användes följande forskningsfrågor: ?Hur uppkom förändringsinitiativet och vilka uttryck har det tagit sig inom ledningen respektive produktionen??, ? What is the relation of image and word, of sentences and pictures? What kind of message does this combination produce when juxtaposed on a single material plane? And how do we read its ?infinite? relation? These are the questions at the center of this inquiry. My main interest concerns the exact nature of the relation between photographic images and textual elements of poetic language when these are juxtaposed in what I call Phototext poetry.The thesis calls into question the conventional reading habits of the conjunction of photographs and texts, and seeks to understand the more complex connections intrinsic to the relation image/word and its material and perceptual play in poetic works. Does a text always ?anchor? the multiple meanings of an image, as Roland Barthes argues? What if the alterations of an image could ?anchor? certain fractions of a poetic, polysemantic textual construct? Is a photograph indifferent to the visual, material permutations of texts that certain contemporary poetic practices produce?I discuss phototextual works and collaborations of various kinds, from Molin fontän [?Molin?s fountain?] (1866) over classic surrealist poetry to language-oriented writing.
