Democracy is now a legitimate claim not only in the society but even in the classrooms. According to the 1994 Curriculum for the Non-Compulsory School System, Lpf 94 in Sweden, are all pupils in all types of schools ought to have a high level of possibilities to be able to influence their education. But many studies have led to unsatisfactory results about the actual situation in schools. Swedish students are critical of the limited opportunities they have in influencing their own learning process. This essay is only one among the many studies that have dealt with school democracy during the last 50 years.
Definitionen av ett Investment Entity - En studie av de underliggande kriterierna i ED/2011/4 Investment Entities utifrÄn princip- och regelbaserad redovisningsteori
Recently, the IASB and the FASB initiated a joint project to determine which companies that could be defined as investment entities and thus subject to an exception from IFRS 10 Consolidated Financial Statements. The first draft, ED/2011/4 Investment Entities, was published in 2011 and included six criteria that a company must meet in order to be classified as an investment entity. Based on academic theory, the fact that the IASB and the FASB published a joint proposal is interesting for several reasons. Traditional accounting theory tends to distinguish between two different approaches in standard setting: principles- and rules-based. The IASB is considered to have a principles-based approach, while the FASB is considered to have a rules-based approach.

IL som avgör nÀr aktier i ett fÄmansföretag Àr kvalificerade sÄ att sÀrskild beskattning ska ske av utdelningar och kapitalvinster. Med hjÀlp av bestÀmmelsens ordalydelse och det syf-te regeln hade nÀr den ursprungligen infördes gjorde RegeringsrÀtten bedömningen att sÄvÀl överlÄtande som övertagande företag kan drabbas av att aktierna blir kvalificerade pÄ grund av att samma eller likartad verksamhet bedrivs.
Tillförlitlighet för automatiska sprinkleranlÀggningar - en analys av befintlig statistik
In this report statistics concerning the reliability of sprinkler systems from seven countries has been analysed. The objective of the report has been to determine the reliability of sprinkler systems in Sweden and to present suggestions on measures to increase the reliability. The main conclusion that has been drawn is that the reliability of sprinkler systems in Sweden is 92 percent according to the analysis of Swedish statistics, and that this figure finds support in statistics from other countries. Further results are that the quality of design, installation, maintenance and inspection of sprinkler has to be improved and that the Swedish incident report has to be revised..
Parti(ska) bilder : En kvantitativ studie av pressens bilder pÄ partiledarna under valrörelsen 2010
I den hĂ€r kvantitativa undersökningen söker jag svar pĂ„ frĂ„gorna: "Hur framstĂ€lls eller gestaltas de olika partiledarna i bilder publicerade i Aftonbladet, Expressen, Dagens Nyheter och Svenska Dagbladet under valrörelsen frĂ„n den 19 augusti 2010 till den 19 september 2010" och "Finns det skillnader mellan hur de olika tidningarna framstĂ€ller eller gestaltar de olika partiledarna och hur ser dessa skillnader i sĂ„ fall ut?". Med hjĂ€lp av teorier kring nyhetsvĂ€rdering och gestaltning försöker jag förklara varför bildrapporteringen ser ut som den gör. Genom att analysera 891 bilder med hjĂ€lp av ett fyrtiotal variabler har jag till exempel kunnat se att Sahlin och Reinfeldt Ă€r de som fĂ„r mest utrymme i alla kategorier, att Ă

Dock kan en rörlig kontant ersÀttning resultera i att ledningen endast arbetar efter kortsiktiga mÄl vilket kan leda till ett högt risktagande och Àr dÀrmed riskfullt för företaget (Jacobsson, 2010). Den 1 januari Är 2010 gav dÀrför Finansinspektionen ut nya regler, FFFS 2009:6, som innebar att för anstÀllda som har inflytande över ett företags risknivÄ ska minst 60 procent av deras rörliga ersÀttning betalas ut efter tre Är eller mer. Pedagogiska verktyg i arbetet för elevens motivation : En studie inom sÀrskolan
This study was conducted at a special school for children with autism and developmental disabilities. The study consists of three interviews where pedagogues have different experiences of working with children in need of special support. The aim is to get an idea of how teachers think about working with children autism, but above all to find out what methods and educational tools that are used, and why they are used to best motivate students to a rewarding education. Sense of coherence (SOC) is a central concept and a theoretical basis of the study relating to the student to create comprehensibility, manageability and meaningfulness in life. All of these three are essential for the student to find a predictable environment.From the result shows how schools and teachers use different methods and different tools, but both have a focus to help the student find motivation in the learning process.

The aim of this study is to investigate the notion of pupil influence in English teaching at level 1 and 2 at High-School level. The study focuses on how the students and teachers experience the possibility of influence in their English classes. Empirical data has been collected through questionnaires from two classes at year 1 and two classes at year 2 in English. The study also includes interviews from four teachers and four students. The study is both qualitative and quantitative.
Grekerna och krisen II : ? en undersökning utifrÄn ett diskursanalytiskt perspektiv
Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att undersöka hur tvÄ av Sveriges största dagstidningar, Dagens Nyheter och Aftonbladet, valt att beskriva greker och Grekland under en av den finansiella krisens första intensiva rapporteringsperioder under 2011. Min avsikt har varit att utifrÄn ett diskursanalytiskt perspektiv, undersöka huruvida vissa teoretikers, bland annat Simon Cottle och Teun Van Dijks pÄstÄenden om mediernas framstÀllning av vissa grupper under pÄgÄende krissituationer stÀmmer överens med Dagens Nyheters och Aftonbladets framstÀllning av grekerna under den ekonomiska krisen.I uppsatsen har jag fördjupat mig i sex artiklar. Background: Students, at a secondary upper school, attending a practical programme have a lower physical capacity than students from theoretical programs. Our physical self-esteem has a great significance for our motivation in being physically active and thereby also for our health. The purpose: of this study is to find out if there is a difference between perceived physical self-esteem and objectively measured physical activity between students attending a practical programme and a theoretical programme. Method: Four classes, in a medium-sized town in the southeast of Sweden, participated in the study, two classes from practical programmes and two classes from theoretical programmes. All the students were in their final year at the upper secondary school, when they were part of the study during the autumn of 2011.

In today?s history teaching in Sweden, role-play and historical re-enactment receive littleattention. Even though many students find history as a subject boring and irrelevant, verylittle is done to improve the mode of teaching. My theses is that this could be done bypresenting new ways of teaching and at the same time find a way to make more studentsinterested in history. The main aim is to investigate if there are ways to offer students anexperience of history by carrying out different interactive exercises with a touch of roleplayand historical recreation.
VÀrdelöst vÀrdeskapande : En studie om co-destruction
The study proceeds from a phenomenom called co-creation. If value can be created, it is logic to asume that it also can be destroyed. This phenomenom has earlier not been applied to long-term relationships such as business to business. In a business relationship it is important to identify factors, that leads to co-destruction, to be able to prevent them from appering. The purpose of this study is to identify which factors leads towards co-destruction.The study have used theories from Echeverri & SkÄlén (2011) which has designed a model explaning the outcome of co-creation and co-destruction.
Transitioner i f-9-skolor : - en smidig ?röd? trÄd eller en med svÄrlösta knutar
The aim of this study was to identify and make transitions in Swedish preschool-class-9-years elementary schools visible with a special-needs educational perspective. Transitions in focus were those between preschool-class and primary school, between grade three and four and the last between grade six and seven.In the 1960?th Swedish elementary school were devided into three levels; primary school, intermediate level school and upper level lower secondary school. Those levels were officially removed when the curriculum of 1994 was introduced. However, in some way such levels still exist, for example in organisation and structure of schools, the curriculum and teacher education.How did school leaders design transitions between levels and which tools were used? What kind of information was transferred to help children with special needs and what was the role of the special pedagogue in the transition process?The study was a combination of a quantitative and qualitative method, a questionnaire survey complemented with qualitative interviews with special pedagogues in three schools in a middle-sized Swedish town.The result of the study shows that schools in focus had a work plan.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine the ideological currents that have influenced the swedish school system since the 1990's. The background of my interest is the lively debate in schools and media about the new School reform 2011. My hypothesis is that education in 2011 largely will be influenced by neoliberal and neoconservative values.
The method I`ve used is discourse and ideology critique, which examines the relationship between rhetoric and power. These concepts are useful to explain the ideological change in different policy documents and in curricula, for example Lpf 94 and School 2001.
The theoretical framework is based primarily on the neoliberal and the neoconservative agenda, which are two distinct political rationalities in the contemporary postmodern world.
En ökande euroskepticism - En studie av euroskepticismens utveckling i EU-medlemsstaterna Är 2007-2011
Den Europeiska Unionen har pÄ senare Är stÀllts inför en utmaning dÄ en alltmer utbredd euroskepticism rotar sig hos medlemsstaternas befolkningar. Syftet med denna studie Àr att undersöka huruvida det föreligger ett samband mellan att en medlemsstat har ett ekonomiskt gynnsamt eller ogynnsamt förhÄllande till EU, och euroskepticism mellan Är 2007 och 2011. Detta har gjorts genom att studera hur EU-budgeten utformas och hur den senare fördelas bland medlemsstaterna, dÀrefter har Eurobarometerns enkÀtundersökningar legat till grund för att fÄ ta del av hur opinionen kring EU ser ut bland befolkningarna.
