This project was an assignment by Sveaskog and Svenska Skogsplantor. The purpose was to study the effect of protective fabric on the thawing stage of frozen pine seedlings. The function of the protective fabric is that it should protect the seedlings against strong sunlight and create an even temperature inside the boxes containing the seedlings. The result has shown that there was no statistically significant difference when the protective fabric was used or when it was not used, although this was probably due to the weather conditions. The study was carried out under cold and cloudy weather conditions and probably would have given other results if there had been more sunny days with a higher ambient temperature.

Historically transformers with system earth equipment have been modeled as open circuits in zero sequence. This approximation has been satisfying, but lately it has been discovered that equipment on one side of the transformer have responded to faults that occurred at the other side. Most of these problems took place when the majority of the system on the secondary side of the transformer contained cables. These findings have led to questioning whether or not the former model of the transformer in zero sequence is correct. This report investigates if it is necessary to represent the transformer in zero sequence in another way than it is usually done today.

The purpose of the rebuild of Notnäs AB timber sorting line is to renew the existing drive and turning ends of the transport chain, which has become old. This means that Notnäs AB have problems to get new parts if the gearbox and chain are worn out. They also require that the rebuild should have a maintenance schedule for the new spare parts that will be used in the rebuild. Maintenance workers placed great emphasis on that in a rebuild it shall be a service-friendly design. The maintenance schedule used in Notnäs AB in the current situation is from Statoil and the report uses SKF formulas and recommendations in order to obtain a lubricating schedule.

Denna rapport är en reflekterande text som behandlar verket Dance 4 Romance. Spelet är skapat utifrån ett high-concept med fokus på att skapa ett spel där två olika genrer möts för att skapa en spännande och ny upplevelse. Arbete är baserat på en tidigare spelidé jag har haft. Texten och verket är ett resultat av mitt examensarbete under våren 2009 vid Högskolan i Skövde.Genom speltestning, undersökningar och feedback under arbetet med Dance 4 Romance har jag fått relevant information som behövts för att kunna ta fram ett intressant spelkoncept och som har hjälpt mig att kunna svara på min problemformulering.Slutsatsen är att det går att ta fram ett intressant spelkoncept genom att kombinera dansspel och äventyrsspel. Utmaningen ligger i att få till balansen mellan båda genrerna och att skapa en underhållande spelidé.

The first part of this essay focuses on how we relate to the landscape at the international and the national level today. The landscape convention is presented and compared to actual current Swedish policies. Different definitions of landscape are discussed. The second part renders the landscape in different archaeological contexts. The central theme is the attempt to investigate if and how we can approach prehistoric man by looking at the landscape as a socially constructed concept.

Såväl projektmedlemmar som projektledare har oftaansvarsområden inom flera projekt parallellt och därmed ett delat fokus. För att kunnasäkerställa projektens resultat krävs det att organisationsmedlemmarna kan hantera denpåfrestande miljön och den tidspress som projektarbete kan innebära. Det är därförcentralt att organisationen arbetar aktivt med att skapa en motiverande och stimulerandearbetssituation.Då projektorganisationen leds och drivs av projektledaren är det ofta genomprojektledaren som medlemmarna får sin feedback och kommunikation från denomgivande organisationen. Projektledarens engagemang och insats spelar en central rolli dennes förmåga att motivera andra och är därmed en avgörande faktor för projektetsresultat.

Syftet med denna undersökning var att undersöka vad som motiverar tunneltågförare hos Veolia Transport AB. Frågeställningarna var: Vilka faktorer främjar respektive motverkar tunneltågförares trivsel? Vilka egenskaper kännetecknar arbetet som tunneltågförare? Vilka stressorer upplevs i arbetet som tunneltågförare? Vad motiverar tunneltågförare att stanna kvar i arbetet. Metoder som användes var intervjuer samt ett skattningsformulär. Resultaten visade att arbetet kunde kategoriseras som ett högpress arbete med höga krav och medelmåttig kontroll.

AIMS AB is a Swedish company that develops and sells inertial sensor systems. A new product is under research which basically is an aided inertial navigation system where unwanted drift is eliminated. This can be done by integrating a GPS reciever into the system and fuse measurement data from GPS and IMU. Such a product is useful in racing, where engineers always are searching for the optimal performance and the shortest lap times. Today the only feedback the engineers and mechanics get from their work is the driver?s comments and lap times.

The purpose of current paper is to identify the differences (ifany) between Swedish and Turkish consumers in terms ofproduct design perception and to identify the differences toproduct design in relating the four dimensions / characteristics:1.Aesthetical attractiveness, 2.Functionality, 3.Value and4.Quality.The findings of the study indicate the existence of a universal perception of design. Despite the culturally different countries that are examined the empirical material consistently display similarities between the two countries. Both the quantitative and qualitative data point to a very similar perception in terms of design.
