Public confession and declaration of grace in the mass, following the book of worship of the Church of Sweden, is considered by many to be problematic, and hence the topic of frequent discussion. This is apparent already in the proposal for the existing book of worship, as well as in those official proposals that have been presented in recent years for a revised order of worship. This paper provides a summary account of the historical development of the public confession (and its attendant parts) from the early church into recent times, with a focus on the Church of Sweden, focusing on church regulation and official books of worship. This account shows that a public confession existed in early Christian celebration of service/mass, and that public confession and declaration of grace as we know it today (in the Church of Sweden) has developed from the practice of private confession with a relationship to Holy Communion. In Sweden, the ambitions of the Lutheran program of reformation with respect to public confession did not materialize fully.

Objective: The purpose of the study is to explore and illustrate how ultrasound midwives and medical specialist in obstetrics and gynecology believe the information given to parents about the genetic soft markers should be handled.Design: A quantitative questionnaire study with cross-sectional design. Participants: 44 ultrasound midwives and 37 medical specialists in obstetrics and gynecology.Findings: Most of the participants would like to inform before the ultrasound starts that they will be looking for genetic softmarkers during the ultrasound. Likewise the majority wanted to inform the parents about possible increases in the risk for chromosomal abnormalities based on findings on the routine ultrasound. There was a difference in frequency between those who responded that they would like to inform before the ultrasound that they will be looking for genetic softmarkers and those who responded that they believe the future parents wants information before the examination.Key conclusions: It could help health care professionals in their role as information providers if there were common recommendations for the information to be given to future parents about genetic softmarkers in connection with the routine ultrasound.

Interaktiv 3d-grafik är ett område som i dagsläget genomgår stora förändringar med ständigt ökad efterfrågan. Tack vare förbättrad mjuk- och hårdvara går det idag att åstadkomma saker som bara för ett par år sedan var fiktion. Syftet med rapporten är att dokumentera dessa möjligheter genom att undersöka grunderna för hantering och manipulering av 3d-modeller i programvaran Macromedia Director 8.5, samt implementera denna kunskap i en interaktiv 3d- applikation. 3d-grafik som används i Director är polygonbaserad och renderas i realtid på användarens dator. Moduleringen av 3d-grafiken kan utföras på två sätt, antingen i programmeringsspråket Lingo eller via fristående program.

In 1994 the EU directive of packaging waste was adopted. The result was that all EU member states developed different systems to manage packaging waste and recycling. This paper examines the various systems and the factors that affect the level of recycling. This is done by a cross-sectional study between countries. The results of my study suggest that take-back system generates less recycling than other systems, the mandatory deposit system can affect the recycling in a positive way.

När hästen domesticerades för cirka femtusen år sedan förändrades dess tillvaro från att leva på stäppen till att stallas upp i begränsade utrymmen. Hästen är en gräsätare och spenderar i det fria uppemot 18 timmar per dygn åt att söka föda och när den stallades upp innebar det en begränsning av sitt naturliga födosöksbeteende. Uppstallade hästar ska ha en jämn yta att stå på. Denna ska vara försedd med ett lämpligt strömedel av god kvalité som ska hållas ren och torr samt ge en god liggkomfort. Hästen har tre olika typer av sömn; dåsighet, ortodox och paradox sömn (REM-sömn). Strömedlet kan vara en viktig faktor för att hästen ska vilja lägga sig ned och på så sätt möjliggöra sin REM-sömn.

I detta exjobb har en testplattform skapats för att kunna testa, utvärdera och jämföra olika pumpstyrningar i torr miljö. Testplattformen består av en simulerad pumpstation till vilken befintliga pumpstyrningar av valfri modell kan kopplas, det vill säga ett Hardware-In-the-Loop-system. De främsta fördelarna med en sådan plattform är flexibilitet, snabb feedback samt möjligheten att återskapa exakt samma förutsättningar för olika pumpstyrningar.Testplattformen har implementerats i LabVIEW på en PC som kommunicerar med pumpstyrningshårdvara via ett I/O-kort för analoga och digitala signaler.Det simulerade systemet konfigureras genom val av bland annat pumpar, pumpsump, inflöde och rörsystem. Utifrån de inmatade värdena och styrsignaler från pumpstyrningen simuleras sedan bland annat systemets flöden, energier och temperaturer. Nivån i sumpen, och övriga insignaler till pumpstyrningen, återkopplas från simuleringen.

Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate relatives opinions of information, interaction, support, participation and care at a hospice unit. The aim was also to investigate whether there was a difference between women and men.Method: The study is a descriptive quantitative cross-sectional study. A questionnaire with closed and open-end questions was sent out to 66 relatives to patients who had died at the hospice unit. The closed questions were analyzed with SPSS. A content analyze was used for the open-end questions.Results: The most of the relatives were fully pleased with information, interaction, support and care.

AbstractAt the UN Conference on Environment and Development in 1992 the nations stated that traditional environmental policies were not sufficient to handle the multidimensional challenges posed by sustainable development. Governments needed to broaden their political decision making procedures in order to coordinate and integrate environmental, social and economic policies. Therefore a new tool was introduced in Agenda 21, National Strategies for Sustainable Development (NSDS). The aim of an NSDS would be to bring together actors from all parts of society to jointly reach a consensus on how to work towards the vision of a sustainable society. An NSDS would be seen as a strategic tool to help focus national policies for SD.

This rapport examines six Swedish workplace unions, in manufacturing internationalised companies, degree of internationalised trade union work. The report is based on interviews with local shop stewards. All local workplace unions were in some form internationalised. They were placed in three different groups of strategies: Passive, Tactical and Strategic. The Passive union only tried to get information; the Tactical unions were reactive against initiative from company management and used the channels provided of Industrial Relation laws.

Smoking is a health problem with a negative impact on virtually all body organs. Smoking can cause, for example, lung cancer, cancers in other organs and cardiovascular disease. There is also a social aspect of smoking. If individuals have many smokers in their environment, the risk to start smoking is increased, and for those who already smoke the chance of quitting will be less. Many municipalities today face smoke-free working to reduce smoking and passive smoking adverse effects.

This thesis investigates the 200 year old phenomena of savings banks and if they increase the economic growth (GDP) in the local region they act in. That is being done by testing three hypotheses; the savings banks increase the attractiveness of the region they act in; the savings banks increase the entrepreneurship in the region they act in; and the savings banks increase the economic growth in region they act in. This quantitative cross-sectional study with data from the year 2010, finds that the savings banks increase the attractiveness of the local region, most likely through the efforts and financials they put into different local projects. A positive result is also found for increased entrepreneurship in the regions that have a local savings bank. The result is explained by the savings banks relationship lending, which increase the likeliness for a company to get the credit they need to start and develop.

Due to an increasing global market with a growing competition and an escalating technologydevelopment the demands on companies today are increasing. To maximise the output fromtheir recourses they need to be more efficient. The research on product development and how toensure the efficiencies in the process are extensive and companies could by adapting andimplementing the result of this research use its benefits.This master thesis is made for Knightec AB with the aims that through interviews anddiscussions with three companies investigate, collate, justify and give proposals for productdevelopment process together with supporting methods and procedures for technical projectmanagement. Besides Knightec AB three other companies located in Sweden has beenparticipating in this study. Through semi structured interviews and discussions in focus groupsinformation from the three involved companies were obtained.

Syftet är att beskriva och analysera hur såväl medarbetare som coach (chef) upplever utvecklingssamtal. Syftet har avgränsats till tre frågeområden: Vilken typ av frågor/problem tas upp? Finns det här någon skillnad mellan vad chef och anställd prioriterar? Vilka är fördelarna och nackdelarna med utvecklingssamtal? För att få svar på våra frågor har vi intervjuat anställda vid ett företag som under en längre tid använt sig av återkommande utvecklingssamtal. Resultaten har därefter analyserats utifrån ett symboliskt interaktionisk perspektiv där vi sökt lyfta fram den betydelse som samtalet tillskrivs i det aktuella företaget samt hur man här sökt hantera de förväntningar olika positioner är förknippade med. Resultaten visar att såväl anställda som chefer är nöjda med de samtal som hålls på företaget trots att vi kan se en skillnad i vad man prioriterar för frågor.

Instagram lanserades i oktober 2010 och är en applikation där du med hjälp avkamerafunktionen på din mobiltelefon eller din surfplatta kan dela med dig av bilder.Instagram tillåter sina användare att ta en bild, redigera den, för att sedan dela med sigav bilden till sina följare. Syftet med denna studie är att ur ett socialpsykologisktperspektiv få förståelse för och kunskap om hur Instagram med dess format kan varaen del av identitetsskapande processer samt fungera som ett verktyg försjälvpresentation. Det empiriska materialet består av tio kvalitativa intervjuer medkvinnor i åldrarna 20-25 som är aktiva Instagram-användare. Det teoretiska ramverketbygger på Meads teorier om jaget, Asplunds teori om social responsivitet, Giddensteori om självet som ett reflexivt projekt samt begrepp från Goffmans dramaturgiskaperspektiv. Resultat från studien visar att Instagram kan tolkas som en plattform därjaget och identiteten kan konstrueras.
