Materialhantering är en växande bransch som medför att både antalet anställda och arbets-tempot ständigt ökas. En konsekvens av detta är att antalet olyckor med fallande objekt har ökat i samband med användning av truckar.I detta examensarbete har därför en undersökning av skyddstaket till truckserien staplare (Stacker, Pedestrian with platform, Electrically powered) genomförts. Syftet är att undersöka möjligheterna att ta fram en ny konstruktion på skyddstaket som, jämfört med den befintliga konstruktionen, kan absorbera energin från en fallande last på ett bättre sätt samt minskar den kvarstående deformationen. Detta för att kunna öka säkerheten för föraren ytterligare men även för att kunna öka produktiviteten av trucken genom att minimera servicetiden av taket efter större lastfall.Målet med arbetet är att ta fram en CAD-modell på en ny konstruktion av skyddstaket som ska kunna utgöra underlag för framtagning av en testprototyp. Projektet har följt en systematisk produktutvecklingsprocess i vilken det första steget är att ta fram en kravspecifikation på konstruktionen.

This thesis of 15 hp has been implemented at Halmstad University, in collaboration with Saab Dynamics in Linköping. Saab Dynamics is a company operating in the defence industry where competition is tough. This necessitates new ways to increase efficiency in the company, which is the basis for this thesis. Saab Dynamics wants to introduce simulation driven design. Since Saab Dynamics engineers have little experience of simulation, required a user methodology with clear guidelines.

Business valuation is something that has been more general and discussion around this subject is very common. The discussions often revolve the various principles and procedures that a business appraiser can apply when a valuation of a business should be done. When there are different evaluation methods there are also resulting in an assumption that there are not so easy to create a complete objective business value. The individual evaluator choice of method will determine the result of the business value. The global world for each business has been more uncertain and turbulent/changeable which have tended to exacerbate the work for the evaluator to determine a business value.

Bakgrund: Basala hygienrutiner ska enligt Socialstyrelsen tillämpas för att förebygga vårdrelaterade infektioner (VRI). VRI är ett hot mot patientsäkerheten och kan medföra ökat lidande för patienten och ökade kostnader för samhället.Syfte: Att undersöka följsamhet till basala hygienrutiner inom ambulanssjukvård i ett antal utvalda omvårdnadssituationer.Metod: En deskriptiv kvantitativ studie där data inhämtades genom strukturerad observation. Bekvämlighetsurval tillämpades och totalt 68 observationer gjordes på två ambulansstationer inom samma landsting.Huvudresultat: Följsamhet till basala hygienrutiner varierade, med högst följsamhet till rutinen om kort eller uppsatt hår (87%) samt till användning av handskar (87%). Lägst följsamhet observerades till rutinen om handdesinfektion före patientnära arbete eller användning av handskar (1%). Inte vid någon observation (0%) visades följsamhet till samtliga sju basala hygienrutiner som undersöktes.Slutsats: Att brister av varierande grad fanns i följsamhet till basala hygienrutiner.

The purpose of this thesis is to gain understanding of how companies proactively can manage their reputation. The thesis analyzes three multinational companies in Sweden and uses two theoretical approaches - the reputation risk view and the reputation strengthening view - to gain an overall perspective of how companies work with their reputation. It focuses on investigating which key areas of reputation risk the focal companies identify and how they manage the reputation risks within these areas. Moreover, it examines which stakeholders the companies believe are most critical from a reputation point of view and in what ways the companies work with strengthening their reputation among those stakeholders. In order to find a general approach, the thesis investigates the similarities and differences that exist between the respective companies in the study.

To increase the understanding of how individuals total life situation affects their stress level and health has lately more frequently been discussed in different contexts. Furthermore, it is important to have knowledge of power structures that exist under given circumstances in a society to get an increased understanding of how to structure the health promoting work to get the highest possible benefits. People?s work life is essential to their health, since we spend a lot of time at work. The aim of this study was to find out which factors that relate to nursing staff?s health and stress level from a general perspective.

AbstractPURPOSE: The aim of this study was to describe and compare possible differences regarding selected prognostic factors for disability between patients with non-specific chronic pain who were about to start a multidisciplinary treatment program (MMR), either within primary care (MMR1) or hospital care (MMR2).METHODS: The study had a descriptive and comparative cross sectional design. Eighty-nine patients were recruited consecutively when they were about to start their team treatment (50 in MMR1,39 in MMR2). The measurements were; Evaluation of self-reported self-efficacy for eight daily activities (STIVA-8), The Pain Belief Screening Instrument (PBSI) and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS).RESULTS: The study found some significant differences between the answers from patients in MMR1 and those from patients in MMR2. For instance, patients in MMR2 estimated lower self-efficacy according to STIVA-8 than patients in MMR1. Also, there were fewer low risk patients and more high risk patients in MMR2 than in MMR1 regarding pain intensity according to PBSI.

Studien undersöker Sveriges Radios nyhetspublicering på nätet och jämför med Ekots nyhetssändningar i etern. Syftet är att undersöka eventuella skillnader i nyhetsurvalet, samt hur webbinnehållet påverkas av flerkanalspubliceringen och webbens möjligheter till ständig publicering och uppdatering, möjlighet att använda sig av bildobjekt och grafik samt hypertext och interaktivitet. Undersökningen ramas in av de teoretiska begreppen konvergens och divergens, samt teorier om hur kanalernas produktionsförhållanden påverkar nyhetsinnehållet. En kombination av kvantitativ och kvalitativ innehållsanalys har använts, där de båda kanalerna undersöktes under två dagar, 23 och 24 april 2012. Det visade sig att webbens nyhetsrapportering till viss del bestod av nyheter som inte fanns med i Ekosändningarna.

The aim of this study has been to try to understand the meaning of dikaiosuvnh qeou` in Rom 3:21-26, and how man receives this righteousness.The study has two main parts. The first part is a study of Greek terms and words, where the following terms are examined: First the iJlavskomai word group, and especially the word iJlasthvrion. Secondly the words divkaio" and dikaiosuvnh. Thirdly the word novmo" and fourthly the words pisteuvw and pivsti". The final term examined is ajpoluvtrwsi".

AIM: To investigate  newly graduated nurses opinions on their introduction and preceptorship at Akademiska Sjukhuset in Uppsala. METHOD: A descriptive cross-sectional study using qualitative and quantitative evaluations. Data was collected by a questionnaire containing open and closed questions. Totally 42 participants took part in the study. Data analysis was obtained using descriptive statistics, thematic analysis and content analysis.

Abstract ? What is an exhibition hall? ? How do you create tension between art and nature? ? Why should an exhibition hall be situated in the country side; would that add to the experience? ? What are the conditions of exhibiting contemporary art? These are some of the questions I first asked myself when I came to work with this project on an exhibition hall outside Kivik, Österlen. These questions brought me to new places, meetings and ideas. The team working actively to realize this project, calls it ?Art by the Sea?. The team has been working with the project since 2001 .

Introduktion: Trots att kompressionskläder (KK) används brett inom idrotten saknas det klara vetenskapliga belägg för att dessa faktiskt skulle ha en positiv effekt för vältränade idrottare. Det är relativt lite forskning gjord på hur användandet av KK påverkar prestationen vid aerobt arbete. Syfte: Att undersöka huruvida användandet av KK har en positiv inverkan på högintensivt aerobt arbete för idrottare. Metod: En randomiserad cross over design med placebo har använts och 6 vältränade (27 ± 5 år, längd, VO2max 59,0 ± 3,2 ml ? kg-1 min-1) har genomfört tre maximala tester till utmattning på löpband.
