Musical improvisation is an infinite artistic well. It helps the musician to make a personal performance and lets the music reflect the inner feelings. It is a language with which the performer can adapt the formulation to the specific situation. Yet so many have fear and respect when facing the phenomenon. In this study Dan Alkenäs discusses the advantages and disadvantages of using musical improvisation as a pedagogical method in school education.

Denna studie handlar om personalens medvetenhet om matematik i förskolan. Syftet med undersökningen är att ta reda på om det arbetas medvetet med matematik ute på förskolorna. Jag är också intresserad av rektorernas inflytande över personalens medvetenhet om matematik och verksamheternas arbetsplaner/målformuleringar inom ämnet. Intervjuerna gjordes med rektorer och personal i förskolan för att ringa in deras medvetenhet om matematiken i förskolan. Studien bygger på kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer.

ABSTRACT Bjelkenbrant, Pernilla, 2007: Musik och kommunikation ? en kursutvärdering (Music and communication ? a course evaluation) The purpose of this study is to do a quality assurance of the course ?Music and communication? (MUPR1205) as it was implemented in a class of music students at the program of Arts and Culture at Törnströmska upper secondary school in Karlskrona during 2006/2007. The overall question is to what extent the shaping of the course involves the attainment of the values and goals formulated in the national school documents. The study includes an interpretation of course goals related to overall goals, and a suggestion of how theories of the relationship music ? society can be applied to those goals to make a successful course structure.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the library needs of fourteen-to-fifteen-year-olds. We have limited the investigation to the significance of libraries for the teenagers in their leisure time. Our focus is the public library with a particular reference to the plans for a new local public library with a youth profile in Malmö. With a departure point in the idea that young people?s use and view of libraries is to a large extent depending on factors such as social and cultural background and lifestyle, we chose to do a qualitative interview study with eight teenagers.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to investigate how librarians solve difficult reference questions. The aim is to discuss the nature of reference work ? do librarians make conscious decisions regarding search strategies or do they rely principally on their instincts, or simply chance. The thesis is a qualitative study.

Med en ansats i kognitiva teorier om de omedvetna processer som kan ligga bakom fenomenet intuition undersöks i denna kvalitativa studie begreppet ?intuitiva användargränssnitt? på djupet. En teorisyntes om vad intuition är och hur det fungerar presenteras. I en empirisk undersökning i form av kvalitativa intervjuer frågas interaktionsdesigners om deras definition av begreppet intuitiva användargränssnitt. Resultaten från undersökningen ställs därefter i relation till det teoretiska materialet.

The First World War had a definite impact on all of Europe, not to say the entire world. The domain of art was no exception. In Zürich, neutral Switzerland, a group of young creative intellectuals who shared a hostile approach towards the structure of the bourgeois society, with its non-democratic rulers and current nationalism which lead up to the war, united under the artistic movement we today call Dadaism. After the war Dadaism sprung up in several cities throughout Europe, among those Berlin. In Berlin Dadaism became a socialist weapon of propaganda, with its norm breaking artistic manifestations, against the camouflaged conservative government of the new Weimar republic.

The purpose of this paper is to try to understand which negative effects grading and judging in art class can have on the students. The emphasise lies on how the media specific parts of the subject is affected. The goal is to get knowledge how students experience getting judged and graded and how this affects them, hence understanding which factors affects them in a positive or negative way in this process. The literature study starts with a historical survey of the swedish grading system and the art subject in Swedish schools. It countinues to explain the current curriculum with an emphasise on art.

Syftet med denna studie är att bidra med kunskap kring vilken matematisk verksamhet som förekommer i förskoleklassen, samt hur detta ter sig i förhållande till tidigare forskning om vad som kan anses vara en god grund för barns kommande matematiska utveckling i grundskolan. Detta syfte uppfylls genom att besvara frågorna: vilket matematiskt innehåll väljer de deltagande lärarna att arbeta mest med, hur väljer de deltagande lärarna att arbeta med det matematiska innehållet, samt på vilka olika grunder vilar de deltagande lärarnas val av matematiskt innehåll och metod?Vår studie grundar sig på en tidigare litteraturstudie där nationell och internationell forskning granskats. Både vår litteraturstudie och empiriska studie vilar på en önskan om att få en uppfattning om vad som kan anses vara en god grund för barns kommande matematiska utveckling. I vår empiriska studie utgår vi från en positivistisk syn på kunskap, därför användes en kvantitativ metod för att samla in data.

Med hjälp av intervjuer och observationer med pedagoger och barn har vi kommit fram till svaren på våra frågeställningar. Undersökningen har gjorts på fyra olika förskolor i en stad i södra Sverige.

Libraries exist around us and for most of us they are a part of our every day life. But how often do we stop and think about their meaning?Libraries in fiction are usually not the center of the narrative, they play a role quietly in the background and offer a backcloth to the story. Yet they are a vital part of the story. Without them a big part of the magic in the stories would be lost.And what is their role in our lives? What do the libraries mean to the books they harbor, the readers who seek them out and society in which they have their axiomatic role?This essay?s focus is my story ?Between the shelves?, which is about the young girl Julia and the mysterious passageway she discovers in her local library.

Companies and organizations need to take care of their employees? creative ability. This report gives some examples of work situations that support or prevent creativity. The purpose with this report is to investigate the link between people at work and creativity.It was necessary to delimitate the area and decide which sources to be investigated and presented in the report. The main topic is on sources of creativity, but as more organizations seem to introduce efficiency thinking according to Börnfelt (2009), the interaction between efficiency and creativity is also presented.In this report theory is compared to industrial designers? opinions on creativity.

Informationssystem, i form av affärssystem eller liknande, används idag ofta för att effektivisera arbetet inom de funktioner som finns i ett företag. Användningen har spridit sig från att ursprungligen framför allt stödja logistik och planering inom produktion till att nu användas inom bland annat Human Resources (HR). En av aktiviteterna inom HR-funktionen är traditionellt sett rekrytering, något som företag nu eftersträvar att effektivisera med hjälp av e-Rekryteringssystem. Syftet med användningen av dessa system är följaktligen att effektivisera företagets rekryteringsförfarande och därmed även företaget i stort. Med detta i åtanke har vi valt att utföra en designvetenskaplig studie på ett sådant system.
