Skådespelaren, konstnären, scenografen och teaterteoretikern Edward Gordon Craig (1872-1966) kom att påverka den moderna teaterns utveckling. Framför allt är det uttrycket Uber-Marionette som förknippas med Craig.Studiens inriktning är dock- eller figurteater och undersöker vilken betydelse denna teaterform fick för Craig.Syftet är att se om hans stora intresse för marionetteater går att koppla till hans vision om en Uber-Marionette. Frågor ställs också om vilka teorier han stödde sig på och om han fortfarande påverkar nutida teateruppsättningar.Craig placeras in i sin samtid och jämförelser görs med samtida utövare inom konst,teater och dans. Fanns det en gemensam påverkan som kan förklara att liknande teorier uppstod parallellt? The literature on spelling and spelling development suggests there is a strong relationship between spelling and phonology (Bruck & Treiman, 1990; Caravolas, Hulme & Snowling, 2001; Craig, 2006; Gindri, Keske-Soares & Mota, 2007). Spelling, however, is considerably less researched than reading (Caravolas, Humle & Snowling, 2001). Spelling difficulties are known to be more persistent in people with reading and writing disabilities, even when their reading has become acceptable (Høien & Lundberg, 1999) but more research is needed in this area. Assessment and detailed knowledge of the difficulties is of great importance in order to provide the appropriate help for children with reading and writing disabilities (Frisk, 2010; Magnusson, Nauclér, & Reuterskiöld, 2008). The purpose of the present study was to develop and try out a phonologically based spelling test for children, with focus on medial phonemes.

The premise for this study is the question how we should relate to people with different religious beliefs. The aim is to examine if an existence characterized by a religious diversity should affect the certainty and confidence in our faith. To answer my question I have turned to the philosophers David Basinger, Mikael Stenmark, William Lane Craig and Robert McKims different views on this issue. Using an approach based on a comparative method and argument analysis I have then assessed their different opinions in the matter. Based on my own discussion of these arguments I conclude that a religious diversity should imply a reduction in our own religious confidence and that it should be reduced in relation to the amount of disagreement that exist between conflicting religious perspectives in an specific case and matter.

Dagens specialiserade raser är långt ifrån de frigående flockarna med höns som förr fanns på gårdarna. Denna förändring var lyckad för producenterna och mattillgången för ländernas befolkning ökade (Tarver, 1986). Men det blev även negativa följder av den intensifierade produktionen, en av dem är djurvälfärdsproblem (SCAHAW, 2000). Den röda djungelhönan Gallus gallus är generellt ansedd som ursprunget till de domesticerade hönsen Gallus gallus domesticus (West & Zhou, 1989; Siegel et al., 1992; Yamashita et al., 1994).

What is the relation of image and word, of sentences and pictures? What kind of message does this combination produce when juxtaposed on a single material plane? And how do we read its ?infinite? relation? These are the questions at the center of this inquiry. My main interest concerns the exact nature of the relation between photographic images and textual elements of poetic language when these are juxtaposed in what I call Phototext poetry.The thesis calls into question the conventional reading habits of the conjunction of photographs and texts, and seeks to understand the more complex connections intrinsic to the relation image/word and its material and perceptual play in poetic works. Does a text always ?anchor? the multiple meanings of an image, as Roland Barthes argues? What if the alterations of an image could ?anchor? certain fractions of a poetic, polysemantic textual construct? Is a photograph indifferent to the visual, material permutations of texts that certain contemporary poetic practices produce?I discuss phototextual works and collaborations of various kinds, from Molin fontän [?Molin?s fountain?] (1866) over classic surrealist poetry to language-oriented writing.

Att kunna söva reptiler och ge dem smärtlindring är idag inte så självklart som vi gärna vill tro. När vi ser på program på tv som till exempel Veterinärerna så verkar de alltid veta vad de gör, men faktum är att det idag till väldigt stor del saknas forskning och de flesta av de läkemedel som ges till våra ormar och ödlor är inte utprovade på dessa djur och de gånger de är det så är det oftast på någon eller några enstaka arter. Då det i dagsläget finns över 9500 olika kända arter av ormar och ödlor som alla potentiellt kan reagera annorlunda på samma läkemedel är det inte svårt att se vilket enormt utrymme det finns att göra ny forskning på. Den forskning som fram till idag utförts är till största delen inte gjord på våra vanligaste husdjursreptiler. Undantag är gröna leguaner som det finns relativt mycket studier på.
