Intressenternas syn på den enskilda skogsägarens Corporate Responsibility : en studie av olika intressenter och hur dessa skiljer sig beträffande socialt-, miljömässigt- och ekonomiskt ansvarstagande
Drygt hälften av den svenska landarealen täcks av skog. Av denna areal ägs hälften
av privata skogsägare och övrig areal av skogsbolag och det allmänna. Alla som
brukar skogen har ett ansvar att värna om den på ett hållbart och uthålligt sätt, detta
för att kommande generationer ska kunna ha fortsatt glädje av skogen. Ett viktigt
begrepp gällande hållbar utveckling är CR (Corporate Responsibility). Med detta
menas att det är viktigt att intressenter tar mer ansvar inom aspekterna: miljö, socialt
och ekonomi än den miniminivå som lager kräver.
Doing Well by Doing Good : - En studie i hur CSR kan pa?verka svenska modefo?retags anseende
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept that is growing increasingly important, with more and more companies acknowledging that they have an obligation to the environment in which they operate. We were interested in inquiring into why companies chose to do so, even though there are no laws that condition them to engage in CSR. One answer to this might be that companies use CSR as a way to distinguish themselves from the competition as well as to gain trust and goodwill from the stakeholders. When it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility, the question is no longer whether or not companies should engage in it, but how they can gain competitive advantage by doing so. This study aims at providing a framework for possible ways of integrating CSR and branding, as well as different strategies for CSR-communication. We also tried to define how, and why, consumers respond to CSR-initiatives.
Från kvinnans problem till problemfri kvinna : En undersökning av audiovisuell reklam för sanitetsprodukter till menstruerande kvinnor mellan åren 1970 och 2000
This thesis tries trough qualitative analyzes to illuminate advertising and its didactic aspects, how menstruation and menstruating women are portrayed over time. The method underlying the survey is didactic, diachronic comparative and hermeneutic. There will also be a feminist point of view on the material. The issue is about how the advertisement presents sanitary products and menstruation and how a menstruating woman is portrayed.The conclusion is that the image of a menstruating woman changes slightly while consolidating the ethos that menstruation should not be visible. Hållbar utveckling - paradigmskifte inom snabbmatsbranschen? : En flerfallsstudie av hamburgerrestauranger
Sustainability issues have become increasingly high-profile and important in recent decades. In addition, quality issues have come to play a central role in corporate marketing, strategy and management. The word quality can be defined differently in different contexts. This paper focuses on the concept of quality, based on the Total Quality Management perspective, which in Swedish has come to be known as Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling. Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling has been described as a theoretical framework in which an organization continually strives to meet and preferably exceed customer needs and expectations at the lowest cost through continuous improvement, and in which all members of the organization are committed and focused on the organisation's processes. The purpose of this study was twofold. First, to clarify the applicability of the theoretical model Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling as a theoretical explanatory model. Second, to explore how Max Hamburgerrestauranger AB performs according to the values in Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling. A multiple case study was conducted in order to explore these topics. The results showed that Max Hamburgerrestauranger AB is working in a dedicated and value-driven manner, aligned with the values ??that form the basis for Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling. The results also showed that the model for Offensiv kvalitetsutveckling could serve well as a theoretical explanatory model, but that the model would benefit from being developed, enriched or integrated with other models.
Svensk Kod för Bolagsstyrning - Hur påverkas revisorn?
The first version of the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance was published year 2004, by the code group, Kollegiet, after a mission from the Swedish government. The Code consists a collection of rules and standards about corporate governance and internal control, and the first version was intended to include incorporated limited companies on Stockholm?s alpha stocks, and also listed companies with a stock market value over three thousand million Swedish kronor. Now a few years have passed, and in July 2008 a new, revised version of the Code was implemented, now simplified and shorted, with the intention to include all joint-stock companies in Sweden. The Code contains rules about for example ownership, management commitments, annual stockholders meetings, and the accountant. This study intends to, with a qualitative research approach and an inductive reasoning, through studies of empirics in the subject, review whether the accountant?s profession has been influenced by the Code.

A successful CSR strategy has the potential to generate positive outcomes for a company and reaching out to stakeholders about the corporation?s contribution in the field is an important part of the work. In this study I examine how the employees at Max Hamburgare receive the corporation?s efforts within sustainability, how it is perceived and what this means to the employees.
Fackföreningars roll i implementeringen av CSR och levnadslöner : En flerfallsstudie av svenska fackförbund och deras påverkan på multinationella företag
Den ekonomiska globaliseringen och ökade världshandeln har lett till att multinationellaföretag till viss del fått ta sig an den roll som stater tidigare har haft och många företaghar börjat använda sig av corporate social responsibility (CSR) som ett verktyg för detta.Frågan är om utvecklingen har gjort att andra aktörer, såsom fackföreningar, som tidigarevarit en självklar aktör på den politiska arenan och en given del av den svenskaföretagssfären, nu kommit i skymundan. Det leder vidare till frågan om vadfackföreningar i så fall har för roll idag. Det föreligger ett gap i forskningen vad gällerfackföreningarnas roll i CSR-diskursen samt levnadslöner i utvecklingsvärlden, som kanses som en del av CSR-konceptet. Ambitionen är att denna kvalitativa flerfallsstudie skakunna bidra till den kunskapsbrist som tycks finnas gällande svenska fackföreningar ochderas syn och roll vad gäller CSR och specifikt levnadslöner. Resultatet av studien visaratt svenska fackföreningar överlag är skeptiska till CSR och att ett införande avlevnadslöner är komplext.

The fact that more companies show awareness of responsible conduct, in particular of the environment and social aspects of management may be a way to build a strong corporate image.

This essay has aimed at exploring how different companies work with CSR. We want to highlight their opinions about the topic, what it means for the companies that work with it and how important it is to apply CSR in a business. The reason why we chose this subject is because of the possibilities that come with working with CSR. We think there are a lot to be done when it comes to corporate social responsibility and we want to be a part of this new type of marketing. The win-win-situation that occurs with CSR is unique and it makes the subject interesting.
Mystiken kring styrelsearbete - skillnader i styrelsearbetet i ett litet börsnoterat bolag och ett litet onoterat bolag
New laws and recommendations within corporate governance during the last years have affected the way board of directors work. The board is said to have and fulfill three roles: a control role, a service role and a strategy role. These roles could be understood by three theoretical theories: the agency theory, the resource dependence theory and the stewardship theory. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether, and if so how, the board work differs between two small firms based on these roles, given that one of the firms is a publicly listed firm and the other is a privately owned firm. Using a qualitative case study as research method we find that the board work differs between the two companies when it comes to these roles.
?Nytt avtal löser problemen? En diskursanalytisk studie av Sveriges byggindustriers argumentation för förändring av byggnadsavtalet
Bakgrund:Arbetsgivarföreningen Sveriges Byggindustrier (BI) och arbetstagarorganisationen Svenska Byggnadsarbetareförbundet (Byggnads) är kollektivavtalsparter för Byggnadsavtalet. Parterna hade inför avtalsförhandlingarna hösten 2005 meningsskiljaktigheter kring framförallt kollektivavtalets tredje paragraf som rör lön och löneformer.Syfte:Det övergripande syftet med uppsatsen har varit att analysera argumentationen i ett antal dokument producerade av BI och vårt intresse har riktats mot BI:s strävan för förändring av Byggnadsavtalet. Fokus har legat på hur argumentationen kring denna strävan förstärks respektive försvagas genom det sätt texten i de valda dokumenten är uppbyggd.Metod:Vi har använt diskursanalys som angreppssätt med utgångspunkt i Norman Faircloughs tredimensionella modell, varav vi använt de två första dimensionerna. I den första dimensionen text har vi undersökt texterna med hjälp av delar ur argumentationsanalys, retorisk analys och lingvistisk analys. I den andra dimensionen den diskursiva praktiken har vi tittat på i vilken kontext texten är producerad och kan förstås.

Livsåskådningars framställning : En textanalys på tre läroböckers framställning av icke-religiös respektive religiös livsåskådning.
The purpose of this study is to analyse and compare how religious and non-religious world views are described and represented in three Swedish textbooks. The main question of this study is: How do three textbooks for the first stage of religious studies in high school represent non-religious and religious world views based on the text analysis tools: ethos, modality and transitivity?The three textbooks that are being analysed and compared were produced in the years of 2000, 2002 and 2009. The textbooks are used when teaching the first stage of religious studies in Swedish high school. The text analysis that I´ve chosen to use in this study is a part of Norman Faircloughs critical discourse analysis.
