As companies grow, their need for computing power will increase, which traditionally resulted in companies having to invest in more IT resources. Now, with cloud computing, companies can easily hire computer power over the Internet, on-demand. Cloud computing offers a highly scalable environment where companies can store data and host their services. This paper employs a qualitative study with interviews and literature studies to explore opportunities and challenges associated with cloud computing from a system developer perspective. The aim of the paper is to find out how cloud computing changes the conditions for system development. The paper contributes with four different opportunities and challenges that the system developer must handle to succeed in the world of cloud computing.

A large amount of our time is spent indoors in an artificial climate. To make the experience pleasant there are requirements on the ventilation and the heating system. At the present time the most common form of heating is a radiator system complemented with a ventilation system. A ceiling heating system with combined heating and ventilation can replace the two separated systems. The benefit with a ceiling heating solution is that it saves space since the radiator system is no longer needed.

Genom att koppla ihop det tankar som finns inom Balanced Scorecard konceptet med ett värdekedjetänkande som finns inom Supply Chain Management kan en horisontell styrning skapas.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och förklara hur företag kan utveckla lönsamhetsrelaterade mått för kompetens och prestationer samt att ge förslag på en process- och värdekedjeanpassning av Balanced Scorecard modellen.Avgränsningar: Uppsatsen behandlas utifrån Balanced Scorecard och Supply Chain Management teorin där fokusering framför allt sker på måttframtagningen. De personer som intervjuats är verksamma inom Svedala Industri i Sverige, Tyskland och Frankrike. Genomförande: Uppsatsen bedrevs som en fallstudie där intervjuerna skedde på med personer på divisionsnivå, marknadsnivå samt försäljarnivå med återkommande intervjuer vid behov. Intervjuresultaten användes för att testa den egna modellen i verkligheten.Resultat: Uppsatsen visar att incitament föreligger för användning av kompletterande styrnyckeltal för att förbättra företaget.

Customer Relationship Management This bachelor thesis is brought together to analyze the transformation from traditional marketing to Customer Relationship Management. The development in the technology world has made the marketing focus shift from products and their functionality to customers and value creation. Because of the tougher competition that developed from new channels of communication, corporations had to generate new sources of value for their customers in order to establish lasting relationships with them. Therefore we found it interesting to investigate how companies within the e-commerce business handle the transition towards customer relationship management.

Denna studie tar sin ansats i hur system och strategier för hantering av kunskap mynnar ut i olika hinder vid kunskapsöverföring inom managementkonsultföretag. Fallstudien bygger på fyra managementkonsultföretag varav två tillämpar en codification strategi och de andra två tillämpar en personalization strategi.Alla företagen har mer eller mindre inslag av båda strategierna men tyngdpunkten ligger i en av dem medan den andra har ett understödjande roll i respektive företag. Av studien framgår att kunskapssystem och strategier hänger tätt ihop, och är beroende av vilken vikt företaget lägger vid att dokumentera och lagra kunskap.Beroende av vilken kunskapsstrategi företagen i fallstudien tillämpade ställdes de inför olika hinder. Codification strategin renderade i hinder i form av rapportering, informationens kvalitet, användarvänlighet i databasen samt medarbetarnas motivation att dela kunskap internt genom att dokumentera projekt. The thesis describes a completely new biofuel system to generate particle-free heat from combustion of ash-containing biofuel particles at high temperatures.The suggested system gives opportunities to introduce biofuels in new areas.Main components in the suggested system is a heat radiating combustion chamber intended for pulverized wood, combined with regenerators to extract heat from flue gases and simultaneously preheating the combustion air.The thesis contains a description of the suggested system, theoretical considerations, calculations regarding the combustion, and includes results from tests performed.The results from calculations and tests performed concludes that the system is workable and possible to apply..

The current situation for Swedish grain farmers facing a situation with decreasing profitability makes it necessary for the farmers to find ways of increasing the margins in their grain growing. Decreasing profitabilities along with Lantmännens closing of grain elevators contribute to the necessity for farmers to invest in grain storing and drying at the farm. By investing in capacity for drying and storage of grain on the farm it is possible to recieve a higher price on the grain sold due to the possibility to sell when the price is higher compared to the harvesting season. An investment in grain drying and storage with a relatively low investment cost that recently has appeared on the Swedish market is the grain stir drying system. This study contains a comparison of an investment in a grain stir drying system where the grain is dried and stored in the same silo and a conventional drying and storage system.

Syftet med undersökningen är att ta reda på om begreppet ?Tekniska system? tas upp i förskolan. Dessutom undersöks hur förskolorna arbetar med teknik enligt den reviderade läroplanen, Lpfö 98.Som metod användes enkäter där pedagoger satt i arbetslagsgrupper och besvarade frågor. Enkäten används för att få en bättre bild av hur ålder, kön, tidigare utbildningar och yrkeserfarenhet förhåller sig till kunskapen av teknikämnet.Undersökningen visar att alla förskolor använde sig av begreppet tekniska system på ett eller annat sätt i samtal med barnen, till exempel vid toalettbesök, samt frågor ?vart tar rören vägen vidare till reningsverket??Vidare framkommer det att fler fortbildningsdagar och studiebesök är önskvärt för att pedagogerna ska få en större vetskap om begreppet tekniska system.

Uppsatsen behandlar mötet mellan styrsystemet revenue management, ett verktyg som syftar till att optimera ett företags intäkter, och de anställda som arbetar med det. Systemet handlar om att sälja rätt produkt till rätt kund vid det rätta tillfället till det rätta priset. Detta verktyg används idag av de flesta hotellkedjor och har numera blivit mer eller mindre standardiserat. Aim: The aim of the study was to examine KAMEDO-reports concerning prehospital medical management on disaster sites. Method: Eight KAMEDO-reports was examined with focus on organization and management. Results: Four areas in which all could be influenced by the healthcare personnel in leading position was described: Management and Co-operation, Load and Go - Stay and Play, Priority and Triage.

School and education are topics that are frequent in Swedish media. The intention of this essay has therefore been to investigate the image of teachers and their profession in Swedish daily press. The overall aim has been to analyze how teachers are portrayed in the debate that followed the TV-show Klass 9A, and by that find how the debate defines the concept of a good teacher. The representation that was found was then compared to earlier studies. The series was shown on Swedish television between January and March 2011.26 articles were chosen and the ambition was to have various perspectives represented, such as different voices and also papers from different areas of the country.
