During 2006 an estimated number of 150 persons are supposed to have been killed in road accidents caused by speed limit violations. Through Automatic traffic security control (ATK) the Swedish road administration (Vägverket) is working towards lowering the number of speed related accidents. By placing the speed cameras on roads they've managed to lower the average speed at those places. The enlargement of the number of speed cameras is based upon knowledge about for example how high the risk is for speed related accidents on the roads. The speed cameras always measure the speed in which every vehicle passes, but aren't constantly activated to register speed violations.

  ABSTRACTSjöfart är ett nödvändigt transportsätt för att frakta de varor som jordens befolkning önskar från världens alla hörn. Det finns flera typer av fartyg, exempelvis container, ro-ro, bulk och färjor. Fartyg enstyckstillverkas och konstrueras efter sin rutt och typ av last. Propellerval görs genom studier av kraft och verkningsgrad med hjälp av metoderna: rörelsemängdsmetoden och bladelementmetoden.Ett kylfartyg har designats för att lasta 400 containrar och ha en marschfart på 19 knop. Detta för att hinna transportera 4000 ton citrusfrukt mellan medelhavsområdet och Stockholm varje månad.

Undersökningar och beräkningar av en rengöringsprocess med ibc-containers vid Allemballage har gjorts. En automatiserad lösning har tagits fram där vissa delar har tillhandahållits i förväg som rengöringsverktyg. Uppgiften blev att studera om verktyget klarade av de räckvidder som var avgörande samt att fastsälla om den robot som kunden ville använda sig av kunde utföra uppgiften genom att ta reda på vilket moment som uppstod för att sedan ta fram en simulering av processen i RS. Räckvidden undersöktes dels i RS men även ett presentationsunderlag togs fram. Momentet undersöktes dels praktiskt där man fastställde de krafter som verkade och teoretiskt där man sedan beräknade momentet.

The break up of the family unit leads to new living arrangements and significant changes for children. This can be an extremely upsetting experience for a child, especially if the child is old enough to understand what is happening. New living arrangements can effect a childs fundamental sense of security as well as having consequences later on in life. The object of this research paper was to examine how a group of seven people (children from split families who are now adults), interpreted and described their childhood in relation to the living arrangements they grew up with after the breakdown of the family unit. The main question areas we have examined are: How have the interviewee's living arrangements during childhood affected their understanding of themselves today? In what way has the adult's present day lifestyle been influenced by the split up of the family that they grew up with - using their own words? How do the children from split families describe and interpret concepts such as family and marriage, based on their own experiences? Our research was conducted with the help of seven people from split families who are now adults and who experienced different types of split family arrangements as a child ? permanent residence with mother/father or alternate living with both parents.

Eventing is often called as the formula 1 in equestrian sports and comprises three disciplines: dressage, show jumping and cross-country. The sport provides excitement, challenge and joy and is the ultimate sport for intelligent riders and horses. Many are fascinated by the challenges the sport offers while other consider it foolhardy to ride a cross-country. Eventing is not a risk-free sport and has even been given the label of being one of the world´s most dangerous sports. What do those risks mean to the horse? And particularly, is it associated with good animal ethics to use the horse for eventing? Finding answers to these questions is not easy as it probably is not a clear and simple answer.

The purpose of this essay has been to investigate the research and national initiatives regarding film and Cineliteracy in the Swedish curriculum.The results show that, after all research, national initiatives and the continual clarification from the Swedish National Agency for Education concerning film's place in the Swedish subject, the vision of students cineliteracy not at all obtain an obvious place in the curriculum.The research points out the main causes behind this result to be teachers' lack of expertise and the fact that the formal education for future teachers in the subject still upholds traditional views on the subject of Swedish.The initiative presented in this essay also show lack of continuity, lack of adequate professional development opportunities for teachers and lack of practical guidance manuals to help teachers to develop and educate their pupils in line with current research and visions. .

Background: Following an increased awareness concerning social and environmental aspectsin society, more enterprises establish sustainability reports in order to inform theirstakeholders about the company?s sustainability duties. A previous study indicates that themetal sector is enjoying relatively limited increases in business opportunities and/or financialvalue of corporate responsibility. Another study suggests that there is a gap in expectationsbetween producers and users of sustainability reports due to an uncertainty regarding whatinformation such reports should contain and what audience such reports should target. Thequestion is whether or not a gap in expectations concerning sustainability reporting is acontributing factor to the limited increases in financial value in the metal sector?Purpose: The purpose of the study was to examine how a sustainability report should becarried out by a company in the steel industry given what information the company and thestakeholders consider as essential in a sustainability report.Methodology: To accomplish the purpose of the study, a deductive approach was used due tothe availability of suitable theories.

Syftet är att granska i vilken utsträckning företag som upprättar hållbarhetsredovisning följer riktlinjerna på området. Vi har genomfört fallstudier, i vilka vi studerat tre olika företags hållbarhetsredovisningar. Dessa har vi jämfört med GRI:s riktlinjer och med varandra. För att få inblick i företagens tankar om GRI och dess framtida roll har vi gjort intervjuer, via e-post, med nyckelpersoner på två av de tre fallföretagen. Kvalitativ metod har använts för att få en helhetsbild av fenomenet hållbarhetsredovisning.

In recent years many cities have seen an increase in bicycle traffic. This is a development that benefits both the environment and the individual cyclist. When the need for bicycle parking is not met several problems arise such as an increase in bicycle thefts, jammed sidewalks and a decreased interest in using bicycles. My aim with this paper has been to answer the question of how to create parking facilities in an urban environment based on cyclists' needs. Through a literature survey, following the method "Trattmodellen" (the funnel model) the question has been answered and divided under the headings cyclist, bike, bicycle racks, bicycle garage and bicycle operators and hosts.

ABSTRAKTDen här uppsatsen är en fallstudie och en deskriptiv uppsats i syfte att få överblick över de olika faktorerna som man överväger när man bärgar skadade fartyg.Vidare inkluderade vi lite om de olika utrustningar som man använder när man bärgar fartyg. Som enskilt fall valde vi Skagern på 4451 grosston, som var inblandad i en kollision med ett Antigua-Bermuda flaggat fartyg, Samskip Courier, ett container fartyg på 7852 grosston.Den deskriptiva metoden applicerad på den genererade informationen, angående bärgning, försåg oss med ett perspektiv på de olika metoder, faktorer och tekniker som används inom detta område.När det kommer till fallstudiemetoden gav det oss en förståelse för hur dessa faktorer påverkar bärgningen i verkligheten samt en överblick hur de används i ett specifikt fall och av ett företag, nämligen Titan Salvage Company.Detta arbete blir en deskriptiv studie (I detta fall blir fallstudien ett medium riktat mot samma syfte.) som ger mer utrymme för läsaren att göra egna tolkningar så slutsatserna blir i denna uppsats istället ägnade åt egna reflektioner från författarnas sida. Vi vill på det sättet uppmuntra till ytterligare teorier och frågor inom detta ämne. Vi ämnar undersöka hur informationen om CSR i årsredovisningar har förändrats sedan 1995. Syftet är att se hur informationen har utvecklats över tid, vilka nyanser som har funnits samt vilka intressenters informationskrav som har tillgodosetts.Studien omfattar en innehållsanalys av årsredovisningar. Analysen har gjorts efter en checklista som bygger på indikatorer och principer från GRI. Årsredovisningar från fem svenska företag har granskats i ett tre års intervall mellan 1995 och 2007.Mängden CSR-information i årsredovisningar har ökat stadigt sedan 1995. Fram till 2001 redovisades i princip ingen information kring mänskliga rättigheter, företagets inverkan på samhället eller ekonomiska konsekvenser av CSR.
