Fat supplies us with energy, isolates and protect organs from bumps and punches. Fat is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents. The properties of a fat depend on its structure. The most common fat in human food is triacylglycerides.

The object of this essay was about youth's experiences of their possibility of Consumption. We also wanted to analyze if their possibility of Consumption had a connection with their experience of happiness. Another part of the object was to see if there where any differences between girls and boys concerning the questions above. One of the issues we had was if the youth's money was enough for their needs of Consumption. The method we used were a questionnaire, which we asked a class of 22 pupils to fill in.

Political Consumption is a manner of impinging politically that has become more frequent lately. Adolescents seem to be attracted by the idea of expressing oneself politically through ones wallet. The purpose of this analysis is to elucidate this essay?s participants? manner of expressing political Consumption and analyze how they discuss motives against and for political Consumption with a sociological perspective. To accomplish this, this essay will aim to answer the following questions: In what manner do the participants express their political Consumption and what are their motives for and against political Consumption?  In order to answer the essay?s purpose and questions, two focus group interviews have been made.

The gas turbines in the Swedish secondary reserve are reaching the end of their technical lifetime, hence alternative solutions need to be considered. One of the solutions thought to have the greatest potential is the use of so called Consumptionreduction. By entering contracts with large consumers, agreements are made to reduce Consumption in the event of major disturbances in the power system and thus being used as a secondary reserve. This thesis investigates the feasibility of Consumption reduction as part of the secondary reserve. This has been achieved by developing a requirement specification for the disturbance reserve and by studying the technical and economic potential for Consumption reduction among a range of consumers.The technical potential for Consumption reduction that fulfils the requirements for participating in the secondary reserve are on average 750 MW in SE 3 and 98 MW in SE 4.

This report is a thesis work for a B.Sc. in Forestry exam at the School for Forest Engineers, SLU. The aim of the work was to compare fuel Consumption during work in practical field conditions with a standardized method developed by Skogforsk (The Forestry Research Institute of Sweden), (Brunberg, 2005) for harvesters and forwarders from different manufacturers and of different sizes in order to promote the development of more fuel efficient machines. Two studies were carried out. - Statistics of fuel Consumption were collected. - An inquiry was sent out in order to get more detailed information of different aspects influencing the fuel Consumption. The studied machines were divided into two classes, large machines (> 150 kW), and average size machines (100 ? 150 kW), and of the manufacturer Timberjack and Valmet. Our results shows a 15 % lower fuel Consumption for average size harvesters and an 8 % higher fuel Consumption for large harvesters compared with Skogforsks model.

The purpose was to look into the pattern of Consumption among middleage women. Our questions were how women experienced the need to consume, how they defined the expression of Consumption and if there was a difference between "shopping" and "buying". The research has been done through eight qualitative interviews and searching in litterature, illuminating our questions.All women defined Consumption as satisfying basic needs. Several studies indicate that Swedish men consume more meat than women, more frequently appear in advertisements for meat and more often than women handle the grilling of meat. Production of meat is one of the largest contributors to greenhouse-gas emissions and thereby poses a challenge for ecological sustainability. Several Swedish politicians and authorities have argued that reduced meat Consumption is necessary to prevent continued global climate change. To understand and change Consumption patterns we need to understand the consumer. This essay uses textual analysis to examine how Swedish men through text and images in three cookbooks use preparation and Consumption of meat to construct different masculinities.

Thru material things we can express our own personal identity and shopping is seen more as a pleasure than a need to survive. With the background media- and communication studies, the reason of this study was to explore how blogs as a social medium can influence the Consumption ideal in society. With dialogical analysis and semiotic analysis we wanted to see if we could find a specific Consumption culture in the content of six blogs we did our studies on. We found that the blogs showed us that there is normal to have everyday luxury and spoil oneself with expensive things.

To build a sustainable future should we first understand that; every aspect of our daily lives can affect the environment. It?s important that we take responsibility for understanding how we impact the environment and change our actions accordingly. The worlds total energy Consumption equivalent to 80 million MWh / year. This corresponds to about 220 million MWh / day.Energy Consumption is one of the main reasons for increased greenhouse gases when the reduction of this Consumption has a great demand worldwide.In order to prevent the energy that consumed the buildings must be energy efficient but there is a conflict between radon ventilation and energy conservation in a building, given that ventilation can consume as much energy (currently 29-59% of energy-efficient houses use), especially in a cold climate as in Norway.

The aim of this study is to investigate the prevalence of computer Consumption among boys in ninth grade, and to see if there were any differences with regards to physical activity, sleeping habits, breakfast habits and BMI. The study has cross sectional design with a comparative and a quantitative structure and is based on a former study called ?Food & Health 2007?.  The respondents were represented by 181 boys in ninth grade, recruited from ten different schools in the county of Uppsala, who were answering questions about media Consumption, breakfast habits, physical activity and sleeping habits. Daily computer Consumption was reported up to one hour for 12 % of the respondents, one to three hours for 65 % and over three hours for 42 %. The boys who had a high physical activity level were less frequent in computer Consumption while those who had a low physical activity level spent more time by the computer.

These buildings will be standing many years and their energy Consumption will not diminish over time by itself and energy prices will certainly not diminish in the future.
