This essay is about the planning of Stockholm's border regions (areas on the outskirts of the city) during the first seven years of the 21st century. It describes how planning decisions are made in reality, in respect to a 'green' perspective. By describing what a "markanvisning" is (the right to negotiate with the city about a certain piece of land) and by discussing examples of what has happened with a hundred applications for markanvisning, this essay shows how Stockholm's border regions are planned. In the majority of cases it is the initiative of the future developers that begin the planning and construction processes. Research shows that the application to get a markanvisning in Stockholm does not follow a clear, structured system. However, the existing system in Stockholm does work and it seems like almost all the employees within the municipality, the politicians, and the future proprietors are happy with the current situation. Interviews have been held with key individuals involved in the planning process.

ABSTRACTThis essay has as its main purpose to examine how teachers handle teaching in art, after the governments steeredocuments and goals to reach.To find out about it I have done interviews with four teachers. I have made a study of litterature to introduce some different teaching methods that is more or less meaningful and useable. The result of the examination was different from what I expected. The interviews showed that the four teachers work in varios ways after their own conditions. They have different experiences and also have different opinions about what is most important in the art teaching.

During recent years the use of TMR (total mixed rations) has increased in Swedish lamb production. For many years TMR has been used for cattle and hence the information and knowledge is vast, while the knowledge concerning sheep and TMR is more limited. The aim of this thesis is to present an overview of the scientific knowledge on the subject, and also to compile practical experience from sheep farmers using TMR. The thesis begins with a literature review where different aspects relevant to the usage of TMR are dealt with. It is concluded that there are differences between sheep and cattle that must be taken into account.

The BSC is a widely used management tool that is turning the vision and strategy into operational goals. However, after analyzing the criticism received by the BSC, it seems as if its internal focus, rigidity, static-ism and mechanical mindset limits the company?s ability to create a strategy that takes important external factors into account. As we see it, the BSC?s limitations can create a risk for strategic inertia.

Denna studie kommer att fokuseras kring aktörerna företag och konsument inom den interna företagsmiljön samt den fysiska och virtuella tjänstemiljön.Metod: Studien utgår från en etnografisk metod, där vi studerar och deltar i olika miljöer. För att erhålla datainsamling utfördes intervjuer, observationer samt dokumentanalys. Teoretisk referensram: Vi kritiserar traditionella brand management teorier kring företagets roll vid varumärkesskapande. Vi presenterar istället brand consumptions teorierna, eftersom dessa framhäver att varumärke skapas utav fler aktörer.

Bakgrund: Förekomsten av diabetes typ 2 ökar ständigt och undervisning med patienter är betydelsefullt i sjuksköterskors omvårdnadsarbete. Undervisning kan dock upplevas mer blockerande än stödjande. Syfte: Att beskriva sjuksköterskors stöd i undervisningen angående förändring av kost- och motionsvanor hos patienter med diabetes typ 2. Metod: En litteraturstudie har gjorts baserad på åtta vetenskapliga artiklar. Resultat: Bemötande och identifiera behov; empati, respekt och engagemang samt att vara insatt i var patienter befinner sig i förändringsprocessen förbättrar möjligheterna att påverka.

The outdoor environment is the first thing you notices when you come to a pre-school and it also plays an important part in the development of children, their play and meeting their large motor needs. It is important that the outdoor playground is stimulating and inviting.My goal is to examine if the outdoor environment plays any role in the development of children and their interest in nature. What kind of thoughts do teachers and parents have about outdoor play, and is there a developmental goal for the children as well as what role do the teachers play in reaching these goals. The current research examined whether motives, traditional mass media consumption and individual differences (social activity and political interest) predicted the use of social media among a group of university students in China. In coherence with Uses and Gratifications assumptions the study found that the factors differentially predicted the extent of media use. Information seeking, social interaction and affinity were the main reasons for using social media. There was a negative correlation between television viewing and use of social media, in addition to a negative correlation between information seeking and use of the media. Results further suggest that social media are used to enhance social capital, since student?s being socially active offline, tend to use the media to a greater extent than those less active..

Målet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur händelsedetektering i aktiva databassystem kan visualiseras samt identifiera vilka faktorer som har en central roll vid denna visualisering.Arbetet jämför olika tekniker som kan användas för att visualisera händelsedetektering med hänseende till några olika faktorer. Dessa faktorer har identifierats ur litteratur om dels händelsedetektering och dels visualisering av regler.Resultatet visar vilka faktorer som har stor påverkan vid visualisering av händelsedetektering samt hur de olika teknikerna uppfyller dessa faktorer. This study concerns the energy future of the county of Stockholm up until 2050 and describes how the energy consumption can be compared to today with the use of scenario methodology. Within energy future studies the backcasting approach is well known and has been put to use in this study. Due to the characteristics of backcasting the study is self-fulfilling, i.e. the future energy scenarios presented in this study satisfy the targets set up in this study. In the light of what may be the largest challenge of our time ? the climate change - the aim of this study is to describe how the energy consumption in a fossil fuel free Stockholm county in the year of 2050 may be.

This report is the result of an evaluation of a project, conducted by five regional libraries. Through a training course the project should inspire small and medium sized enterprises to use modern information technology and Internet when searching for information. To evaluate the project, qualitative interviews were conducted with five librarians and quantitative questionnaires were distributed to all the course participants. The evaluation shows that the project goals were met, apart from the number of course participants, which was much lower than anticipated. It also shows that the project resulted in an increase in information technology and competence at the libraries, and that the course participants profit from their increased knowledge in their daily work..

Uppsatsen hade sin utgångspunkt i hur lärarens val av matematikdidaktik skapade möjlighettill pedagogisk och social delaktighet, för elever som hade uttalade koncentrationssvårigheter.Denna definition innefattade elever som uppvisade svårigheter att genomföra och slutförauppgifter och elever som inte behövde ha en fastställd diagnos. Jag har även valt att studeraelevernas möjlighet till måluppfyllelse beroende på lärarens didaktik och måluppfyllelsenutgick ifrån strävansmålen för ämnet matematik.Studien innefattade observationer under tre lärares matematiklektioner i klasser på högstadiet.Efter observationerna har sedan intervjuer med lärarna genomförts. Resultatet visade attrespondenterna gemensamt var övertygade om att läraren som person hade en stor inverkan påelevernas lärandeprocess samt möjlighet till delaktighet och måluppfyllelse i undervisningen.Däremot valde respondenterna olika motiveringar som stödde denna åsikt. Meningarna bestodav ett vitt spektrum från lärarens personlighet till didaktikens innebörd. Lärarens reflektionkring val av didaktik samt elevsyn inverkade på elevernas möjlighet till utrymme iundervisningen för måluppfyllelse och delaktighet.

The aim of this study was to explore whether the patients? expectations of physiotherapy correspond with the physiotherapists? view of their own professional role. Two separate questionnaires were used, one to the patients and one to the physiotherapists, which questions were able to compare. Totally 41 patients and 6 physiotherapists answered the questionnaires. The low number of answers from the physiotherapists made it impossible to fulfil the purpose.

High quality within a Lean production system begins with standardised work, which creates stable processes able to generate predictable output. If nonconformity from the standard procedures occurs, routines are needed to analyse, correct and prevent the nonconformity from occurring again. In that way, the nonconformity can be a trigger for continuous improvements toward more stable processes. In takted production lines, where the operator follows a standard sequence with tasks set to be completed within the takt time, a nonconformity leads to downtime in the operator?s sequence, and no value is added.
