AbstractSpotify is currently the largest and fastest growing online music service. They started in 2006 and has since established itself in several European countries. Their financial revenue comes from advertising spots on the client and registered paid subscribers. Together with Spotify, we have come to a certain focus area where Spotify themselves feel that there is potential for improvement. This area of focus concerns the conversion from using Spotify's free "Open" to the payment options Unlimited and Premium.Objective: We will use an innovation process to achieve an innovation grant that will create more attraction to the payment services.

Förnuft och känsla : En studie av kokböckers visuella kommunikation under det tidiga 90-talet och sena 00-talet

The interest for food and cooking has probably never engaged the people of Sweden as much as it does today. Especially cookbooks are selling better than ever which has been a quite constant trend since the mid 90's. This study explores the connection between visual communication in Swedish cookbooks and the post-modern values which have influenced the market climate and the visual culture. I have used a theoretical framework as reference consisting of theories of semiotics, visual rhetoric, marketing communications and postmodernism. I have been studying six cookbooks, three from the late 00's and three from the early 90's, from the two separate angles of their graphic design and photographic material.

Doing Well by Doing Good : - En studie i hur CSR kan pa?verka svenska modefo?retags anseende

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept that is growing increasingly important, with more and more companies acknowledging that they have an obligation to the environment in which they operate. We were interested in inquiring into why companies chose to do so, even though there are no laws that condition them to engage in CSR. One answer to this might be that companies use CSR as a way to distinguish themselves from the competition as well as to gain trust and goodwill from the stakeholders. When it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility, the question is no longer whether or not companies should engage in it, but how they can gain competitive advantage by doing so. This study aims at providing a framework for possible ways of integrating CSR and branding, as well as different strategies for CSR-communication. We also tried to define how, and why, Consumers respond to CSR-initiatives.

As a Consumer, you can use cards for payment more or less everywhere you go, however, it is not certain that the card can be used for all purchases. Utländska företags etableringar i Sverige

Syfte: Att analysera och utvärdera fyra utländska företag med inriktning på deras etableringsprocess vid etablering i Sverige.Metod: Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ studie, baserad på intervjuer, av fyra utländska företag som etablerat sig i Sverige.Urval: De fyra företag som ingår i undersökningen är Clean Chemical Sweden, Kemwell AB, Komatsu SweLog och Züblin Scandinavia AB med motiveringen att de på olika sätt etablerades i Sverige mellan åren 2001-2006 och arbetar huvudsakligen med business-to-business. Teoretiska perspektiv: De teoriområden som uppsatsen utgår från är etableringsteorier, internationaliseringsstrategier, management, Consumer behaviour samt nationell- och företagskultur.Empiri: Uppsatsens empiri utgör en sammanställning av intervjuer med en person med VD-ställning från vardera av de fyra utländska företagen. Slutsatser: C.B. Fleet har låginvolverande produkter och etablerade sig i Sverige via Produktlivscykeln. Kemwell India och Züblin har båda höginvolverande produkter och etablerade sig i Sverige via IPmodellen.

Young people of today have a much wider access to information on sex and relationships, and they receive this information from a variety of different sources. This information can sometimes paint a diverse and inconsistent picture. School constitutes one of these sources, and one of the few places were young people can discuss and reflect on these issues together with their peers as well as adults. The purpose of this essay is to gain insight on what adolescents between the age of 15 to 18 think about sex and relationships and their thoughts about sex education in school. It?s a qualitative study based on discussions with adolescents divided in four focus groups, two groups of girls and two groups of boys.

As revenues from newspaper advertising plummet and their readers loyalty erode, the need to understand newspapers' changing environment and the actors involved in this change is growing in importance. Evidence is the entire industry is entering into a restructuring phase and that this restructuring is driven by the rapid Consumer adaption of internet media.In this thesis I elaborate on "how the Internet is affecting the conditions for value creation in printed newspapers" and "how the Internet is affecting the conditions for other actors involved in the printed newspaper's value creation". These two questions land us in the bigger question of "Does the Internet act as a compliment or a substitute to the printed newspaper ".To answer these questions the printed newspaper is represented as the actor in the middle of content producers, advertisers and Consumers. It is in its role as a means of distribution and as a co-ordinating force that we study the value creation of the printed newspaper. The empirical base of this thesis is a qualitative participant observation where the author during a period of time interacted and collected data from the open discussion in blogs by several of the industry's top influentials combined with material from seminars and reports on the current state of media.

The primary data has been collected through personal interviews and since the respondents were selected strategically, this means that a non-probability sampling was used. The secondary data that has been used for this thesis was based largely on literature, articles and the Nyby Torshälla Riding Club website.Conclusion: This study indicates how small size service companies can benefit from nurturing their customer relationships.

Bakgrund: Kunderna inom armaturbranschen är idag mer involverade och konkurrensen för företagen är mer intensiv. Till följd av nya samarbetsformer har dessutom de enskilda leverantörerna förlorat möjligheten till direkt kontakt med slutkunden eftersom återförsäljare anlitas istället. Jobbet att kommunicera är därför mer krävande och svårhanterligt samtidigt som förutsättningen för leverantörens långsiktiga överlevnad är att de kan nå fram med sitt budskap.Problemformulering: Vilka värdeskapande samarbetsformer är viktiga för långsiktig överlevnad för armaturleverantörer?Syfte: Att mäta huruvida olika tillvägagångssätt av samarbetsformer och marknadsföringsstrategier påverkar armaturleverantörernas långsiktiga överlevnad. Metod: Undersökningen genomförs deduktivt där empirisk data samlas in med hjälp av metodtriangulering där både kvalitativa och kvantitativa metoder används.

The public sector is a major purchaser of goods and services. By setting requirements for environmental and social considerations in public procurement, an authority has the possibility to use Consumer power to influence the actors in a market. The purpose of this paper is to investigate public procurement of textile products in a municipality, in order to gain knowledge about factors that may be important for the use of environmental and social criteria. Håkan Hydén´s (professor in sociology of law) norm model was used as the basis of the analysis, where the conduct was investigated along three dimensions of the norm ? willingness, knowledge and system conditions ? in order to identify underlying factors that can influence the process.The results ? analyzed by using interviews and documents ? show that the procurer's willingness, motivation and knowledge are important factors in this context, as well as the political priority of the municipality.

The world?s consumption is increasing at an accelerating rate and it´s produced and consumed more goods and services than ever before. A large part of people's consumption consists of clothing that is bought and discarded increasingly leading to a number of environmental problems such as global warming, pollution, loss of biodiversity and the depletion of natural assets. One way to save the earth's resources is to buy used clothing, so called second hand, instead of new ones. The store chain ?The Ants? (in Swedish ?Myrorna?) has specializing in second-hand goods and sells, among other things, clothes.
