The point of this is to use my thesis to help thecompany develop a quality document that can assist them when starting collaborationbased on NCC project studio in the future.The conclusion of my thesis was that much of the focus needs to be on explaining tothe participants what NCC is aiming to gain from working with the NCC projectstudio and also which important parts that needs to be worked on..

Denna utvecklingsfas, kallad Requirements Engineering (RE), innefattar aktiviteter för att förstå, dokumentera och validera de behov och krav som föreligger för ett framtida informationssystem. RE är en avgörande aktivitet i processen att utveckla ett informationssystem som tillfredsställer användare och kunders förväntningar och behov.De olika intressenterna som är involverade i RE-processen har olika roller, bakgrund och kunskaper. Av denna anledning föreligger olika problem och möjligheter med avseende på intressenterna. I examensarbetet utreds vilka dessa möjligheter och problem kan vara.

This essay examines the differences and similarities, weaknesses and strengths of the two Cognitive Semantic theories Conceptual Metaphor Theory and Principled Polysemy Approach to Meaning Analysis. To illustrate the two theories, the Swedish verb-particle construction "gå upp" is examined and analyzed accordingly. The results showed differences in the number of polysemous meaning found. The methodological evaluation showed that the differences in the underlying ideas concerning meaning-construction behind these two theories make them incompatible..

AbstractBackground: The factors goals, emotions and motivation are nowadays well researched. Studies that shows the interaction between these three factors does exist, but in a small amount. In all different jobs people encounter these factors, no matter what you?re working with, some experience them daily and others only sometimes.Purpose: We want to study the significance of the interaction between goals and emotions among employees in the construction business, when leaders are about to motivate their employees.Implementation: To succeed with our study and achieve the purpose, we chose to do a qualitative research. We have conducted four visiting interviews and one telephone interview, with both leaders and employees in the construction business.Results: We have through our study found out that the interaction between goals, emotions and motivation are important in the work of construction, even if it?s not something everyone thinks about.

Annedal is a brand new neighborhood in the Bromma part of Stockholm. The neighborhood construction has now reached its halfway point. When finished, 5000 people are estimated to live in Annedal. The purpose of this report is to study the relationship between the rescue service fire prevention activities and the number of arson fires in schools. An objective of the project is also to investi-gate the need of developing national methods for fire prevention. The results are based on a questionnaire study among 35 fire departments and further interviews with five of them. The results indicate that there is a relationship between the rescue service fire prevention activities and the number of arson fires in schools. The relationship is positive in the sense that arson fires in schools decrease with increasing prevention activities.

This Master's thesis aims to investigate librarians' identity construction through the study of their narratives about themselves and their lives. We want to understand in what way the education in Library- and Information science contributes to shape the students professional identity and how these identities then continue to be transformed when they enter their professional lives. We assert that this construction of identity takes place through socialisation. We start with the reference work because we think this is a central part of librarians' tasks. Our theoretical starting point is constructionism, we mean that professional identity is a social construction that continuously is formed and transformed.We interviewed six former students at Library- and Information science at Lund University.

When gender-related refugee claims was ratified in the Swedish asylum law the 31 of March this year (2006) it opened the door for women with this specific refugee status to receive asylum in Sweden. The aim of this thesis has been to investigate how these specific female refugees are represented and described in the asylum process. The focus has been the construction of identity concerning these women in the Officials discourse at the Immigration department. The theoretical framework has been a critical discourse analysis regarding the exercise of power and dominance connected to the construction of identity.An understanding of the women with gender-related refugee claims as the Others has been perceived through the Officials discourse. Female refugees which have been exposed to persecution that occur in our part of the world (rape, wife abuse, etc.) are treated differently and much more restrictive, compared to women exposed to so called culture specific oppression (e.g.

Denna rapport handlar om ett examensarbete utfört åt multimediaföretaget Animero. Det är ett litet företag med åtta anställda som jobbar med olika multimediaproduktioner med fokus på webb- och videoproduktion. Problemet för Animero var att det saknades en ordentlig kravspecifikation i projekten och att kunderna brukade utgå ifrån vad de själva tycker om istället för att tänka på dem som ska besöka webbplatsen. Vårt uppdrag blev att utveckla en applikation som ska ta fram underlag till en kravspecifikation vid beställning av webbplatser. Applikationen ska samla in information om kundernas målgrupp, deras företagsidentitet och de funktioner de vill ha med på webbplatsen.

In most software engineering project, users are only involved in the beginning of the project as a help to design the requirements specification but users can be involved after this phase too, but is it effective to do so? With this report we would like to investigate how effective it is to involve users after the requirements specification has been written and approved. To find out how effective it is to involve the users we try some fast and simple involvement techniques on a quite far gone project. These techniques include ethnographic studies, prototypes and surveys. We also interviewed a couple of people who work with usability and finally delivered a report with our results to them to find out if they found our result relevant.

In motorsports competition, safety reasons require that the vehicle is equipped with some form of protective roll cage. The roll cage should withstand the forces involved in a collision to protect the driver and the co-driver from the vehicle body deformation. The roll cage also works to protect the vehicle from excessive deformations to more easily make any repairs afterwards. For the roll cage to be certified and approved for motorsports competition, it requires that the cage is built after one of the recommended options. One of those options is to design the roll cage like a cross-construction at the driver and co-driver doors.

Inshort the thesis encompasses four sections:1.Survey of the general contractor industry: The survey has been preformed toevaluate the potential size of the market for fleet management services in the generalcontractor industry.2.Needs analysis: The needs analysis aim was to define what contractors tasks andgoals are, and to determine what functions they want and need from a system.3.The use of CAN and the technical premises: The prerequisite for developing asophisticated and generic system is that vehicle data can be accessed from the CANbuss.The use of CAN standards in construction equipment has therefore beenexamined.4.Specification: An explicit set of requirements have been set to be satisfied by a fuelmanagement service, based on CAN standard protocol J1939.Important conclusions: The use of CAN protocol standards are extensive and the prerequisitesfor developing elementary and CAN based services good. The aim of this study is to evaluate whether the value of occupant load is over or under estimated when the Swedish general value for department stores, 0,5 person/m2, is used for dimensioning shopping centers. The data that was analyzed derives from seven shopping centers and one department store. A conservative method was used to calculate the occupant load factor. The analysis shows that two groups can be discerned: one group that is characterized by a lower occupant load factor that does not exceed 0,3 person/m2, and one group with a higher occupant load factor. Shopping centers with a higher occupant load factor are located centrally in large urban areas.

The purpose of this report is to study the risk of dust explosions at the candy manufacturing plant Leaf Sverige in Gävle, Sweden. The risk analysis was conducted with a preliminary hazard analysis, PHA and event trees. The analysis focuses only on the risk posed to employees and material damages at the plant. No third person injuries have been considered. Another purpose of this report is to study risk awareness and risk communication concerning dust explosions.
