The aim of this study was to describe how the best interest of the child can be constructed in investigations concerning permission for international adopt, where adequate parenthood is investigated. Qualitative research interviews were used as method. Seven investigators from six different sections of the city of Stockholm were interviewed. The information was analysed on the basis of a sociological approach to law and social constructionism.The result showed that adequate parenthood is a Condition in the interest of the child. Adequate parenthood is specified as the parent?s qualities and possibility to care for an adopted child.

Tidigare studier har visat att bristen på strukturell empowerment på vårdavdelning ofta leder till försämrad personalhälsa, sämre arbetsmiljö och mindre samarbete med kollegor samt högre grad av utmattningssymtom. Syftet med studien var att beskriva vårdpersonalens upplevelse av strukturell empowerment vid en akut kirurg- och ortopedavdelning, samt att undersöka om det finns några skillnader mellan sjuksköterskors och undersköterskors skattning av strukturell empowerment. Ytterligare ett syfte var att beskriva vårdpersonalens upplevelse av arbetstillfredsställelse samt att reliabilitetstesta ett instrument som mäter strukturell empowerment. Data gällande strukturell empowerment samlades in med instrumentet Condition of Work Effectiveness Questionnaire (CWEQ och CWEQ II) och data gällande arbetstillfredsställelse samlades in med en studiespecifik fråga. Femtioen enkäter delades ut, 43 personer svarade vid första mätningen och 39 personer vid andra mätningen.

This thesis was conducted at AB Fredr Wagner in Ösmo in Nynäshamn, Sweden.AB Fredr Wagner provides solutions for the graphic industry and has been asked by acustomer to develop a product that can simplify handling of EUR-pallets, namely amechanical arrangement, further called pallet exchanger that can switch from anempty pallet to a fully loaded one using only hand force.The goal with the thesis was to create design documents for a pallet exchanger, andalso from those documents to manufacture a prototype for testing and evaluation.A field trip was made to the customer, IKAB mailing in Huddinge, where the palletexchanger is thought to be placed. The purpose of this field trip was to get an insightinto the current work Condition and need of change, as well as to gather informationregarding the requirements when it comes to size and robustness of the palletexchanger. Existing equipment on the market that can perform similar tasks werestudied in order to find an optimal solution for the actual pallet exchanger.After the field trip and gathering of information the concept generating phase began.The method used for generating concepts was brainstorming. The purpose of this master thesis is to show how a chosen actor in form of the Swedish union organization IF Metall (the Swedish union for metal- and industrial workers) works with pro-reading activities. The project being scrutinized is the Read to me dad-project which aims at fathers who are not used to reading activities within the LO-group (the Swedish Trade Union Confederation). The methods used are interviews and literary studies. The theoretical background of my discussion is based on three education ideals. The neo-humanist ideal emphasizes the personal improvement through literature.

When a disease, such as depression occurs, the whole lifeworld can be filled with suffering. Depression is an affective disease, which means it involves the emotions. The patient gets dejected and the emotional devotion abates. Broken sleep, anxiety, pain, concentrations difficulties, fatigue and reduced appetite is some of the symptoms.

Interest in alternative energies is high in Sweden today, particularly in the agricultural sector. According to the Swedish lantbruksbarometern (2009), almost all respondents consider the use of some form of alternative energy from the farm. While interest in alternative energies is large, attention to the alternative energy straw has fallen and is almost nowhere mentioned in the literature today. Three years ago, in the Lantbruksbarometern nearly 44% of the farmers would be willing to invest in straw as heating system on the farm. How do the farmers decide to invest in alternative energies? With this information a problem is presented for this paper.

Tidigare forskning om lastbilschaufförers arbetsförhållanden har visat att de utsätts för ett flertal stressorer i arbetet och att de har låg kontroll över sitt arbete. Syftet med studien var att undersöka lastbilschaufförers upplevelse av stress till följd av Europeiska Kör- och vilotidslagen (KoV), hur de upplever sin arbetssituation samt bidra till att öka förståelsen kring lastbilschaufförers arbetsförhållande. Studien omfattade sex manliga lastbilschaufförer från Trestadsregionen (Uddevalla, Trollhättan, Vänersborg) som omfattades av KoV. Samtliga chaufförer hade familj med olika ålder på barn och chaufförernas yrkeserfarenhet varierade mellan 19 och 40 år. Det genomfördes en kvalitativ studie utifrån en tematisk analysmetod.

This means that licensed health- and medical staff, as district nurses are able to write prescriptions on physical activity to patients.Purpose: Was to highlight the district nurse?s experience in the role of the FAR-prescribers.Method: The study was conducted using qualitative method.

En sådan åtgärd är dikesrensning som innebär att befintliga diken eller dikessystem rensas för att de skall bibehålla eller återfå sin ursprungligt avvattnande och produktionshöjande funktion. Sveaskog avser att öka omfattningen av dikesrensning. Därför behövs en kartläggning av behovet på deras marker. På samma gång behöver produktionseffekterna och livslängden på dikena utrönas. Studien genomfördes via en studie av befintlig litteratur om skogsproduktionseffekter efter dikesrensning och dikning samt förfall och livslängd hos diken.

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to examine how public libraries in Sweden handles their weeding procedures. A series of questions are asked: How does libraries in Sweden motivate weeding? What principles constitutes the procedure of weeding? Which aspects are given most importance when weeding is decided. How does views on weeding differ between libraries of different sizes? How does longer or shorter professional experience influence the view on weeding? The study was done through an online questionnaire which was sent to a number of staff members on different libraries via e-mail.

The survival of hatchery reared smolts is generally low after release. To get a better understanding of what variables affecting migration success, Atlantic salmon smolts were studied during their out-migration in the old river channel in the lower part of river Umeälven. The area consists of shifting habitat and complex structures which causes difficulties for smolt on their migration out to sea. The aim of this study was to try to determine the effects of feed restriction, fin Conditions and different physical barriers in the river, on the migratory behavior of Atlantic salmon smolts in the river Umeälven. The river was divided into six different sections using acoustic receivers strategically deployed along the river. Two-year old hatchery-reared smolts (n=150), in three different weight classes, were tagged with acoustic transmitters.

This study regards the Care of Young Persons Act, LVU, and the 2 § that focus on parent inability to care for their children. The assessment of parent ability to care for their children is performed by social workers in different municipalities. The law leaves room for interpretation concerning how to assess parent ability and therefore we found it interesting to study how social workers interpret 2 § LVU. The study?s aim was also to seek an understanding of how different categories, like gender, race, class and physical and psychical ability of the parents affect the assessment of their parenting ability, with a intersectional perspective.
