ABSTRACTBjelkenbrant, Pernilla, 2006: ANC-galan i Göteborg 1985: en analys av sången Soweto som politisk mobilisering (The ANC gala in Gothenburg in 1985: an analysis of the song Soweto as a means of political mobilisation)The political scientists Abdul Karim Bangura, Ove Nordenmark and Tor Sellström, all believe that there, during the 1980s, existed a strong and unified ?Swedish? attitude against the South African apartheid system, and Sellström points out that this position had a strong anchorage in the ANC gala in Gothenburg in 1985. Over the past few years, singing has been identified as playing a crucial role in the struggle against apartheid. The aim of this study is twofold: firstly it presents a comprehensive discussion on how song is generally considered a tool of political mobilisation, secondly it discusses how that process can be applied to the ANC-gala. Consequently, the theoretical discussion constitutes the initial part of the study.

In this essay the aim is to look at difficulties in preservation of buildings in general, andespecially the ones of the modernist era. To navigate in this huge field the study is narroweddown to take place in Finspång, a small Swedish town. In Finspång there was a swimmingpool facility built in 1967. In 2003 the facility was closed down due to its unusable conditionsand then after seven years with discussions of different plans about what to do with thefacility it was demolished in 2010. This case is the base in the essay, and why it was notpreserved.The purpose of this essay is to look at what the people in Finspång think about preservation ofbuildings with the demolished swimming hall facility as base, and what impact materiality hason questions regarding preservation, cultural heritage, memory and history.

Rapporten innefattar tre delar;Del I - Enkätundersökning för anpassat boende i SandvikenEn bostadsenkät skickades ut till 100 hushåll i Sandvikens kommun för att undersöka om det finns ett intresse för anpassat boende, om så är fallet söks även när intresset finns samt vilken typ av bostad som efterfrågas. 45 % svarade på enkäten varav 60 % av dessa kunde tänka sig att flytta. Det var huvudsakligen de som hade postadress Sandviken som var mest intresse av flytt. Den mest eftersökta bostaden var på 2, 3 eller 4 rum och kök i centrala Sandviken. Bostaden skall ha närhet till affärer, service, hälsocentral och apotek, samt närhet till natur, grönområde, promenadstigar och badhus.

My aim of this investigation has been to study Delacroix relation to the Orient, based on a number of key questions:What was specific for Delacroix oriental works?How did his oriental painting change and mature over time?How was Delacroix relation to the oriental discourse?The paper is divided into three parts: the time before his trip to Morocco in 1832, the trip to Morocco and the period after Morocco.Although many have wanted to see Delacroix as a revolutionary, he worked the whole time within, and dialogue with, the classical tradition. In Delacroix quest for renewal of history painting, the oriental works play an important role. In the period before his trip to Morocco the literary sources dominated. He constructed his own Orient in his studio.It is clear that Delacroix did not stood outside the oriental discourse.

When national channels broadcasts internationally, it is interesting to see what they choose to convey as that day's news flow and how to represent their country. It can depend on many different things such as structures of media ownership in the country and cultural context. The research methods used have been empirical studies and comparative analysis of a total of ten broadcasts of the largest daily newscasts on both channels, both news programmes are called the News Hour.

Klassrummen består idag av elever från olika kulturer och med olika religiösa bakgrunder. Eftersom alla elever har olika relationer till religion är det också svårt, för de lärare som undervisar i religionskunskap, att ge en rättvis bild av någons religion. Vid de tillfällena är det viktigt att vara tydlig med att religion både är något individuellt men också något kollektivt, samtidigt som det inte bör ges en stereotypiserande beskrivning av en religion eller dess utövare. Vid stereotypisering är det dessutom vanligt att sambanden mellan kultur och religion inte framgår och det finns alltid en ökad risk för diskriminering. Flera forskare hävdar att religion bör förklaras genom olika kärnor eller dimensioner, istället för genom den traditionella sekvenseringen uppkomst, historia, texter, människosyn, och så vidare. Religionsvetaren Ninian Smart ansåg att religion kan definieras utifrån sju olika dimensioner och i denna uppsats undersöks det vilka representationer som görs av den praktisk och rituella dimensionen i kristendom- och islamkapitlen i två läroböcker.

The formulation of visions into practical projects is an important part of the professional expertise of landscape architects. This expertise includes the gathering, structuring, improvement and utilization of knowledge. Project models have been developed to provide tools for the implementation and governance of projects, as well as means of learning, reflection and survey of individual projects. The aim of this thesis is to describe some general project models and their theory, and to describe practical, real-life examples of project models used within landscape architecture. Questions asked are: ? How do the processes of idea to construction in landscape architectural projects lool like? Do project models have a relevance for the mission of landscape architects? ? Is a common project model used within such projects, or is the project model varying depending on e.g.

I det här arbetet har jag gjort en del av en underhållsplan för maskinhallarna PM 51, PM 52 och PM 53 på Bravikens pappersbruk för en ettårs-, femårs- och tioårsperiod. I underhållsplanen har jag tagit fram var skadan är, vad som är skadat, placeringen, omfattningen av skadan, åtgärderna och kostnadsförslag från NCC och Ivarsson&Brink Byggnads AB. Jag fick även möjligheten att studera Bravikens asfaltering och göra en preliminär underhållsplan för den. Tyvärr fanns inte tid att utarbeta den så den finns endast som en bilaga, se bilaga 3. Underhållsplanen för asfalteringen gjorde jag tillsammans med Peter Winterquist från Skanska Väg.

Denna uppsats är en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av nyhetsrapporteringen och opinionstexterna om upploppen i Husby i maj 2013. De undersökta tidningarna är The Guardian, Svenska Dagbladet och Aftonbladet, under tidsperioden 20 maj ? 2 juni 2013. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilka perspektiv som lyftes upp, vilka som fick komma till tals och hur de framställdes, vilken retorik som användes och vilken typ av våld som fick störst utrymme i artiklarna. Vi jämför även tidningarna sinsemellan för att se skillnader och likheter.

Title: Music-esthetical productions in the educational work - a case study of the Allvar Gullstrand highschool.Problem: A problem associated with working with project- and thematic studies which result in esthetical productions is that it often demands extra effort and time beyond the schedule to carry the production through. There are no instructions saying that schools are to work with this kind of arrangements, but nevertheless it occurs in most schools, however in a different extent, quality and form. Purpose: The purpose of my study is to elucidate possibilities and limitations in different methods of work and structures, and also examine what motives the teachers and the school management have for working with a music-esthetical production as a goal. Method: I have done a qualitative case study of a Swedish upper secondary school where I interviewed four teachers and one principal, to get a view of reality and examine how teachers with different background look at, and in reality behave in, the work with music-esthetical productions in the education. Conclusions: What I have concluded in this case study is the importance of having a clear goal and that the project works are considered to create meaning and personal growth.

Vår studie är gjord för att se om det finns någon skillnad i mellanstadieelevers beteenden i klassrum respektive idrottshall. Våra frågeställningar är: Finns det skillnader i beteendena hos mellanstadieelever i idrottshallen respektive i klassrummet? Finns det några skillnader mellan pojkars och flickors beteenden? Hur yttrar sig eventuella skillnader och vad beror de på? För att komma fram till detta har vi använt oss av observationer som metod och observerat årskurs fem-klasser på två olika skolor. I arbetet har vi kopplat vår empiri till Connells teori om hegemonisk maskulinitet och Goffmans beteendeteori Front-stage och backstage. Vi har också använt oss av behaviorismens grundläggande tankar om hur en miljö kan påverka ett beteende.

This report describes an investigation of the indoor climate in two different workspaces. Since we a big part of our lives are staying indoors in artificial environments, and more particularly in our workplaces, we think it would be interesting to do this investigation. The technical solutions for air treatment systems began with simple natural systems without fans and where the thermal rise of the air applied. In modern time is technical air treating systems used to take care of the fresh air supply. This type of units can supply filtered air with the right temperature to the building. Well-functioning ventilation is essential to bring clean fresh air to the room and effectively remove impurities without sound- or draught problems. The indoor climate is relevant for the output capacity.

Many buildings are now nearing the end of their service life. This applies to both the older houses from the 40's and 50's to the million project houses that did not prove to be as sustainable in the long run. Often there is a desire to extend the service lifetime, but to do that you need to make detailed inspections. The Folkets hus in Gävle is one of those buildings that is in need of renovation and to fulfill the new requirements that must be met in today's buildings. It is desired to make the buildings rentable space more attractive and to extend the building with two more floors.

Med Skistar som uppdragsgivare ska ett område på ca 28 000m2 projekteras för nytt gästboende i Lindvallen, Sälen. Boendet ska handikappanpassas. Syftet med projektet är att ge Skistar en infallsvinkel på hur området kan utformas med speciellt hänseende på en god handikappanpassning.Boendet riktas mot gäster med eller utan handikapp som kommer för att semestra och utöva alpin skidåkning. De handikapp som boendet riktar sig mot är personer med rörelsehinder som använder manuell eller liten eldriven rullstol samt personer med nedsatt syn eller hörsel. Eftersom detta är ett gästboende innefattas boendet inte under de regler som gäller för handikappanpassning enligt Boverkets byggregler.
