Tjejer å Tjejer
Tjejer å Tjejer är en dokumentär med ungdomar i åldern 14-17 år som målgrupp.
Produktionen har gjorts i samarbete med SVT, Sveriges Television, Växjö. Med
filmen vill vi visa unga homosexuella tjejer, eller som de medverkande benämner
det flator. Vi vill visa dessa i sina sociala sammanhang. Att vara lesbisk och
ung betyder inte att man måste leva annorlunda.
För att finna våra karaktärer sökte vi i hela södra Sverige.
Tradition, förändring och splittring - En diskursanalytisk studie av bibliotekariers yrkesidentitet
The aim of this master thesis is to examine the identity of librarians. We have done this by conducting a text analysis where we have analysed texts produced by DIK, the major union of librarians, and by Library and Information Science departments in Sweden. The material we have analysed is texts produced in the aim of introducing and marketing the librarian occupation and education. The aim of this study is to find out how the identity of the librarian is expressed in this material. We have conducted the text analysis by adopting the critical discourse analyst Norman Fairclough´s theories.
Förutsättningar för naturvetenskap i förskolan : En intervjundersökning om förutsättningar för naturvetenskap i förskolan
The purpose of this study is to examine the conditions for pre-school teachers to achieve those goals that are constituted for science education in the Swedish curriculum for the pre-school. The study questions of formulations are: which importance have the conditions for the work with science education in pre-school, which importance have pre-school teachers engagement and knowledge for the work with science education in pre-school and does the pre-school pre-school teachers think that they have enough conditions to achieve those goals that are constituted for science education in the Swedish curriculum for the pre-school. The results are based on an interview survey with ten pre-school teachers from three pre-schools that are connected in a unit. The interviews were recorded and transcribed. The results from the study points out that the pre-school teachers engagement are most important for the work with science education in pre-school to flourish.

Uppsatsen behandlar hur två organisationer samarbetar och koordinerar deras
kooperativa arbete med hjälp av en artefakt. De två organisationerna är
Marinmuseum och Turistbyrån där deras kooperativa arbete handlar om att skapa
guidade turer tillsammans. Vi har jobbat mot målgruppernas målsättningar, behov
och krav för att hitta det ultimata stödet för deras verksamhet. Syftet är att
förmedla förståelse för hur organisationerna idag använder artefakten i deras
gemensamma arbete, baserat på intervjuer och observationer.
Huvudfrågorna i vår studie har varit: Hur kan vi som utvecklare kan stödja de
två olika organisationernas samarbetsmöjligheter och förbättra koordinationen i
det fall då de använder denna artefakt, deras pappersbaserade bokningslista som
primär informationsplats? Hur kan denna artefakt ersättas utan att tappa dess
koordinations och interaktions förmågor samt flexibilitet?
Studien har visat att den pappersbaserade artefakten, deras bokningslista,
innefattar många positiva egenskaper som vid digitalisering måste tas hänsyn
till.

The purpose of this paper is to develop an idea about geography in literature and through the study of science fiction literature examine the ?future city?. With the perspective that the city is a social construction and through the use of discourse theory, I have tried to emphasize how the future city is a representation of cultural discourses and in what way geography in literature can be used to increase our understanding of urban places. My intention with this paper has also been to find a way to connect the fictional future city with today?s urban planning discussion about the future city.
En utvärdering av fastighetsskötares användande av ett mobilt arbetsordersystem
När ett nytt system kommer i användning så är det viktigt att följa upp utifall
systemet fyller sin funktion och är användbart. Enovation i Karlskrona har
utvecklat ett mobilt arbetsordersystem till fastighetsskötarna på
fastighetsbolaget Gallionen. Det är det systemet som vi har utvärderat i detta
arbete.
Anledningarna till att systemet har utvecklats är många. Den viktigaste
anledningen är att fastighetsskötarna ska slippa åka fram och tillbaka till
receptionen för att hämta nya arbetsordrar och slippa ha med sig en massa
papper.

Detta projekt har producerats i samarbete med Abu Garcia i Svängsta, Blekinge.
Vårat projekt är en interaktiv produkt presentation gjord i flash med inslag av
3d, video och ljud. Våran tanke är att användaren ska kunna se hur en
Ambassadeur Record fiskerulle ser ut både på insidan och utsidan, hur den
fungerar och vad som gör den så unik.
Det finns också video filmer som beskriver tillverknings processen, och hur man
som förstagångs användare använder en Ambassadeur rulle.
Design och bakgrundsljud är anpassad så att den ska väcka en känsla av fiske

Introduction: Sleep disorders are an increasingly growing public health problem. InSweden, the last decade's increase in sleep problems was greatest among younger agegroups. Studies show association between the use of communication media and sleepinghabits. Objective: The aim is to map sleep habits and use of communication mediumamong adolescents and to study associations between them. Method: The study isbased on a previously collected survey data among high school students (18-21 years)from a coastal town in southern Sweden.
Minecraft i klassrummet : En kvalitativ studie om elevers och lärares upplevelser av Minecraft i undervisningen
The purpose of this study was to investigate pupils' and teachers' experiences of using the simulator computer game Minecraft in connection with the Swedish school competition Future City. The study examines how students (ages 14-15) and teachers have experienced the use of Minecraft, what the students have learned in relation to everyday education and the different forms of education during Future City and also examine which patterns that exists in the experiences of the students, with personal interest of and knowledge of Minecraft as a benchmark. The study was conducted through individual semi-structured interviews with both students and teachers. The analysis of the results is based upon a theoretical perspective that includes a socio-cultural view of learning, as well as the lines of reasoning in previous research about computer games and learning. As a general approach towards the study, and in a way, a justification of the chosen research method, a hermeneutic approach was used.

The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to examine how user-friendly the OPAC of the Märsta public library is considered to be.Theoretical basis are HCI and Allwoods definition of usability. Issues are: Is the OPAC suited to its task? Is the OPAC user-friendly? How well does a user accept the OPAC? and What degree of competence is shown by users of the OPAC? The source material consists of six interviews in the form of .avi files. The method I have chosen is qualitative semi-structured interview form. The result is that, based on Carl Martin Allwood?s defini-tion and with exception for the using of help-resources, the usability of Märsta?s library OPAC can be considered less good..

vilket gör spelmaskinen, näst intill, lika vanlig som videon.
I denna dag börjar många spelutbildningar växa fram i hela landet, så som i
Karlshamn, Visby och Kramfors. Trots denna tillväxt finns det nästan ingen
akademisk forskning i ämnet speldesign. Detta gör att hjulet i många fall
tvingas återuppfinnas om och om igen.
I detta kandidatarbete är huvuddiskussionen hur man designar ett spel
innehållande både spelfrihet och en färdig berättelse, vilket är en konflikt i
sig. Vi försöker identifiera kärnan av ett spels design genom att samarbeta

The aim of this essay is to examine three separate Swedish public libraries and their respective websites on the grounds of the usability sciences. I firstly had to summarize the main properties of the usability-field in order to gain an extended knowledge of its purposes and possible usage for today?s library systems. I was then able to apply the extended knowledge in the examination of the three library websites and the purpose of determining whether or not they were designed according to the standards set by the usability-sciences.Usability is a rather new science that deals with the dissection and examination of computer-based systems, in order to find the key components that make systems user-friendlier. With user needs being the main focus of its research, usability tries to meet all the different needs of the modern user and construct systems that are less system-centered and more user-centered.

The report begins with a general inventory of possible technical faults in a hydropower plant and of possible fault indicating measurements. Then an investigation is made concerning a few different faults. Based on this investigation a choice on seal box condition and water leakage is made as problem for a more thorough examination, in which it is concluded that the turbine water leakage is larger when the turbine is put into operation. The examination ultimately results in a computer alarm for faults related to the seal box. One of our reasons is that we think the subject usability is interesting, is
that we think it is an important. Usability is maybe the most important element
when you develop or choose a system because it can save money for the companies
and give the users a more delightful and better work environment. The aim of
the investigation is to find out if the implementation of a web portal is a
direction to reach higher usability in a complex system that consists of
several different interacting applications.

One thought with the report is to give the system developers a perspective of
how the usability can be in-house made applications versus standard
applications. Also companies that not have any computer- or department for
development and which are thinking of get hold of, change, replace or
complement their system and applications, may have some interest in our thesis.
We have used a qualitative investigation method in our study to answer our
hypothesis.

Purpose/Aim: The goal of this thesis is to examine access and knowledge computers and the Internet among the senior-year students of Anacostia High School. Do the students of this facility have the same opportunity as the residents from better socioeconomical backgrounds or are they being excluded from the technology? Material/Method: To approach the thesis goal I have used a quantitative method. More specifically, a questionnaire was handed out to the senior year students at Anacostia High School. Main results: The study has shown that most of the students of Anacostia had in some way access to computers and Internet.
