Detta examensarbete har utförts på Sapa Heat Transfer i Finspång och har tagit upp frågan med hur den interna hanteringen av produkterna kan orsaka defekter. I arbetet har en typ av defekt undersökts särskilt och denna defekt kan ses som ett exempel. Företaget tillverkar aluminiumband till värmeväxlare, främst till fordonsindustrin. Banden levereras på rullar med en diameter upp till 1700 mm, och en bredd mellan 12 mm och 1440 mm. Syftet med detta examensarbete är undersöka en defekt som är orsakad av den interna hanteringen, det vill säga det som sker mellan produktionsstegen.

IT exist and are needed in larger organisations today, this creates possibilities for new applications. It has become more frequent with IT within HRM which has developed new concepts like e-HRM and HRIS which links IT and HRM together. We have through qualitative content analysis of interviews investigated how IT-tools affect HR-workmanship. The purpose is to create a basis for describing how employees experience their work with HR within a PA-system. The basis of the PA-system will then answer if it contributes or limits the employees and their activities.

The crucial factor for successful municipal climate work is that there are driving forces. Most importantly is that the senior officials and politicians in the municipality are dedicated to the cause considering that they have the power to influence and make a change. Besides proactive and committed individuals, it is necessary that the work is organized and anchored by clear and concrete documents and control systems. It is also important that the work is continuously monitored and evaluated. Detta examensarbete är en undersökning i hur riktlinjer anpassade för Serious Games-genren kan användas i utvecklingen av träningsmoment till ett simpelt kooperativt plattformspusselspel. Undersökningen baserades på en analysmodell vid namn RETAIN (Relevance, Embedding, Transfer, Adaptation, Immersion, Naturalization) vilken utvecklats specifikt för att analysera och hjälpa till vid utvecklingen av inlärningsspel. Denna modell har använts för att analysera plattformspusselspelet Braid, varefter analysen har använts som riktlinjer under utvecklingen av ett eget verk. The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to examine how user-friendly the OPAC of the Märsta public library is considered to be.Theoretical basis are HCI and Allwoods definition of usability. Issues are: Is the OPAC suited to its task? Is the OPAC user-friendly? How well does a user accept the OPAC? and What degree of competence is shown by users of the OPAC? The source material consists of six interviews in the form of .avi files. The method I have chosen is qualitative semi-structured interview form. The result is that, based on Carl Martin Allwood?s defini-tion and with exception for the using of help-resources, the usability of Märsta?s library OPAC can be considered less good..

The purpose of this project was to produce signal relay stations that could receive information via 2.4 GHz radio and relay the information to a designated target station. If a relay station was located outside of signal range for the target station it was supposed to utilize other relay stations to transfer the information to the target station, so called multi-hop.The would-be application of the relay stations was orienteering. When an orienteer punches a checkpoint the signal stations would relay information of who punched the control, when it was punched and the checkpoint that was punched to the speaker tower in the goal area.The work resulted in prototypes which fulfilled the statement of purpose and was tested at an orienteering competition with satisfactory results. The performance of the prototypes was tested and found adequate for the would-be application..

This study focus on organizations transfer to cloud computing. Today many companies are shifting their attention towards cloud computing and the possibilities that it offers, with more flexibility and lower costs. Different kinds of cloud services, both for use by the individual and the large enterprise, are getting more popular. More and more organizations therefore decide to do the move to the cloud. There are several different strategies and many pieces of advice for these organizations to follow, but there?s not much research that have been conducted on this subject.

The Healthcheck is an evaluation of the 2003 years reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). When the Healthcheck of CAP is decided, most likely in the beginning of 2009, there will be a discussion about how CAP will appear in the next budget period 2013. One main question in the Healthcheck is how the farm support will be designed. A suggestion that has arised is if todays addition amount for dairy- and beef production should be transferred to the fundamental farm support. In this exam theses calculations has been done in created typical farms in every Swedish support region for cereals-, dairy- and beef production.

The final thesis named Tracking in Sensor Networks was created by the company Instrument control Sweden. The thesis work is to create a plug-in to an already developed software pro- gram, SkyView. Via the software program one should be able to control an IP-camera from AXIS, model 215 PTZ, with the appropriate protocol over a network.  An Application Programming Interface, API, was used to easily control the camera through SkyView. The interface is called VAPIX and is used to all cameras from AXIS.

It has been found that customers in the home market perceive the retailer?s store image more positively than customers in the host market, even though this study has found that theretailer?s store image is generally perceived very positively by customers in both examined markets. In addition, this thesis has found that there is a significant difference in how IKEA?smanagement and customers perceive its store image. It can also be concluded that IKEA management perceived store image more positively than customers.

Kompetenstransfer handlar om att överföra sin kunskap och kompetensfrån en situation till en annan. Tidigare forskning har belyst transfer i en utbildningskontext men inte i en kontext av arbetsbyten. Syftet med studien var att se om variablerna: self-efficacy, karriärplanering, samt personlighetsdraget samvetsgrannhet har ett samband medkompetenstransfer i en kontext av omställning och byte av arbete. Studien genomfördes med hjälp av en webbaserad enkätundersökning och urvalet bestod av 62 personer som erhölls av ett omställningsföretag. Resultatet från en hierarkisk regressionsanalys visade att karriärplaneringsvariabeln karriärbyte hade ett signifikant samband med kompetenstransfer; personer som inte bytt bransch upplever mer kompetenstransfer än de som bytt bransch.

This Master thesis studies how a diversified institutional care organisation can optimise its collective knowledge resources so to manage and distribute this knowledge to different parts of the organisation with help of the organisations intranet. The purpose of the study is to examine if knowledge management and the organisations intranet can be used to create, store, transfer and better use the knowledge within the organisation. Through a case study the thesis will look at different knowledge processes and their relation to the organisations intranet. The case study includes a questionnaire for the whole organisation and qualitative interviews with seven persons from different levels of the organisation. The theoretical framework of the study approaches knowledge management and intranet through four knowledge processes.
