Bakgrund Stroke är en sjukdom som drabbar många människor. Strokeanfall medför inte bara bestående förändringar för den strokedrabbade utan påverkar även de närståendes situation. Det är inte ovanligt att närstående hamnar i en krissituation i det tidiga skedet av en stroke. Syftet Syftet med studien är att beskriva upplevelsen av att vara närstående till en person med stroke. Metod Detta är en litteraturstudie baserad på 10 vetenskapliga artiklar med kvalitativ ansats.

Abstract This qualitative interview study focuses on job coaching by examining what thoughts, views and opinions the involved parties, such as job applicants and job coaches, have of the contribution. The aim is to highlight the obstacles and opportunities by examining the expectations that exist from both parties as well as how to look at job coaching and its different areas. In this context, examine the similarities and differences between the two parties approach to the contribution. This is made possible through four interviews with job applicants as well as four interviews with job coaches. A grounded theory inspired approach was used to obtain the results of the study.

The purpose of this study is to find, understand and discuss the experiences of former employees at SAAB, and present how this can be understood according to my core theoretical concepts, which are participation and identity. The questions asked in the study are based on how the labor is described, characterized and what comes forth as valuable, which is compared to absence of labor work.First, labor is described in an historical and social context, and at the same time related to the core theoretical concept. Second, the methodology chapter is presented, which mainly consists of 11 observations and 10 interviews. Third, the chapter regarding former theory leads to an analysis model, which is used on the empirical material of the study.The result shows that labor work at SAAB primarily is described as important for socializing, security and the possibility to be independent. The tasks at SAAB are described as backbreaking and monotonous, while the lack of labor work influences the physical and mental wellbeing.

Global catch fishery is said to been oppressed to its limit (Boyd & Schmittou, 1999), further implying aquaculture might be the only solution to the world demand for fishery products. The applied term aquaculture in this paper refers to the one used by NOAA (2008); breeding, rearing, and harvesting of plants and animals in all kind of water environments, including but not limited to ponds, rivers, lakes, and the ocean. Högstadietiden är en period då ungdomar ställs inför ökade krav och förväntningar, både från sig själv och omgivningen. Ofta blir stress en del av vardagen. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur ungdomar i årskurs nio upplever stress. Studien genomfördes genom fokusgruppsdiskussioner och innehållet bearbetades med kvalitativ tematisk innehållsanalys. Nio flickor och fyra pojkar deltog i studien.

Korta musikresor (Short Music Journeys) is the Swedish term used for a receptive method of music therapy adapted from the tradition of The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (BMGIM) and the theory and practice of Expressive Arts Therapy. The KMR method uses carefully selected short pieces of music, lasting between 2 and 5 minutes, to work on various psychological problems and life- crises. The music session is conducted in a slightly altered state of consciousness with a clear focus being established beforehand in a verbal dialogue with the psychotherapist. There is also the possibility of using artwork to process and explore the imagery after the music listening.

Klimatfrågan är idag mer aktuell än någonsin tidigare. Detta beror på den akuta situation som vi levande på jorden faktiskt befinner oss i. Det har nästan alltid funnits hot mot vårt klimat, men det är först idag som vi tydligt börjar se följderna av vårt tidigare handlande och det jag syftar på är den förstärkta växthuseffekten och dess konsekvenser. Syftet med studien är att utifrån en lärandesituation i form av ett rollspel beskriva elevers handlingsberedskap och känslor kring växthuseffekten. Frågeställningarna är följande.

Bakgrund: Palliativ vård som bedrivs i hemmet blir allt vanligare och forskning visar att många vill dö i sitt eget hem. Detta ställer ofta stora krav på närstående till patienter som befinner sig i livets slutskede, då de får inta en vårdande roll. Många närstående upplever den vårdande rollen som positiv, då de får tillbringa den sista tiden tillsammans med patienten. Emellertid upplever många närstående den vårdande rollen som negativ, bland annat för att de kan känna att de har kastats in i rollen som vårdare och därmed förlorat sin frihet. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva hur närstående till patienter i palliativ hemsjukvård upplever sin livssituation.Frågeställningar: Vad för slags stöd är närstående i palliativ hemsjukvård i behov av samt hur kan sjuksköterskan möta dessa behov?Metod: Denna studie är en litteraturstudie där elva kvalitativa artiklar har granskats och utifrån liknelser i studiernas resultat har kategorier utformats, vilka utgjort material till resultatet i denna litteraturstudie.

The purpose of this paper is to study the processes of identity and feelings of connectedness among first and second generation of Kurds in the Swedish society.In previous research I assumed that this sense of belonging to a nation includes identity and language. As regards the theory part, I have chosen to use a number of studies to elucidate this issue. The theories used in the study focuses primarily on the understanding of identity. Identity in this context can include linguistic, religious, cultural acts, even nationality or that claiming membership to a particular group.I have implemented twenty-four depth interviews with first and second generation of Kurds in the ages 21?58.

Introduction : Structural cardiac malformations affects 0.8-1% of children born worldwide, in Sweden 800-1000 children per year. Most children with congenital heart disease and their families will have frequent and lifelong contact with highly specialized care. Awareness of the parents experience is crucial in order to improve the nursing care. These experiences will be illustrated using a theoretical model of family-based nursing. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe experiences of being a parent to a child with a congenital heart disease.

Hela det mänskliga genomet var sekvenserat i april 2003 och sedan dess har utvecklingen av genetisk testning avancerat snabbt. Sjuksköterskor kan komma att ha en central roll gällande att informera personer kring den genetiska testningen, rådgiva personer som genomgår genetisk testning och hjälpa dem att tolka resultaten. Genom att beskriva personers känslor kring att genomföra genetisk testning kan sjuksköterskor få hjälp till en ökad förståelse. Syftet var därför att beskriva personers känslor kring att genomföra en genetisk testning för genetiskt betingade sjukdomar med en möjlig dödlig utgång. För att få en överblick av det aktuella forskningsläget genomfördes en systematisk sökordsbaserad litteraturöversikt.
