The end of the 20th century brought a dramatic change to the music industry. The then predominant models for music consumption and sales were forever altered when the possibility to distribute music over the internet emerged. It has now become evident that it is virtually impossible to stop the distribution of digital music files. Music has turned into a non-excludable and non-rival product, which in economic terms is described as a public good. Public goods theory serves as a starting point for this study, which explores some of the factors that might explain why some consumers pay for music, while others choose to download music illegally.

Begreppet Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), har vuxit fram som ett etablerat uttryck förföretags ansvarstagande i frågor rörande etik, moral och miljö. Ett ansvar som efterfrågas i allthögre grad och därmed kräver en transparent och jämförbar presentation. Att komplettera denlagstadgade årsredovisningen med en hållbarhetsrapport har blivit ett verktyg för att redovisadetta ansvar. Jakten på legitimitet, breddade intressentperspektiv, samt förändradeförväntningar från omgivningen utgör alla incitament som bidragit till en snabb utveckling avhållbarhetsrapporternas innehåll och utförande, trots att de endast varit i bruk under ett drygtdecennium. I föreliggande uppsats har denna utveckling analyserats för två specifika företag;H&M och AstraZeneca, verksamma inom de hårt granskade branscherna detaljhandel respektiveläkemedel.

This essay examines a presupposed correlation between the way one look upon values and the way one look upon the will of the people in a theoretical democratic context. The more specific purpose is to test the following hypothesis: There is a reversed connection between the way one look upon values and the way one look upon the will of the people in a theoretical democratic context, that is; a strong claim of values give reason to a limited conception of the will of the people and a weak claim of values gives reason for a more unlimited conception of the will of the people.In order to test the hypothesis I examine three different conceptions of democracy, these are: pluralist democracy, deliberative democracy and constitutional democracy. I analyze the way they look upon values, there view of the will of the people and finally if there is a connection between the way they look upon values and the will of the people. Values should be understood in a metaethical context. In other words it is not values in the ?common? meaning, instead its how val-ues in them selves should be understood, and even more relevant, what we mean when we ex-press values.My conclusions are, first and foremost, that there is a correlation between the will of the people and values, according to the formulation of the hypothesis.

This report is about Swedish statistics on work related accidents and work related diseases onboard Swedish ships. The authors analyzed collected statistics from two authorities and an insurance organization in an attempt to compare the data. In order to understand the need for statistics and why the authority publishes them; minor literature study was conducted. The results of the literature study are in the background chapter. The requirements for the different cases to be registered in the statistics have been investigated, in unity with the issue in question.

This report was written as a result of a Bachelor Degree Project at the School of Technology and Society at University of Skövde, first semester 2007. The assigner was Tibrokök in Tibro, Sweden. The commission was originally to design a sliding door concept for kitchen. Later it was expanded to also include bathrooms.During the feasibility study of the project Internet was used as an information source. Kitchen brochures and magazines were ordered from different companies to give inspiration and ideas.

Abstract in EnglishElsa Grave (1918-2003) is a Swedish writer, artist and composer. The aim of my study is to analyse the female character in Mödrar som vargar, (Mothers As Wolves), which is a collection of poems written in 1972.The analysis is divided into four parts. First I analyse the figures of speech of the female ?I? in the poems. In the second part I`m dealing with how she acts and relates to men.

The study aims to examine how censorship and comics have been discussed in three debates. The aim is also to identify discourses and the orders and relations of power constructed in the debates, and to examine how librarians should handle debates about censorship and comics. Selected sources are articles from Swedish newspapers and tabloids about the debates on the Pox-trial, the manga case and the debate about Tintin in Kulturhuset. The results from the analysis indicates that the debates have been dominated by two main discourses: a discourse on freedom of speech and a discourse on social responsibility. Within the discourse of freedom of speech there is a range of perspectives that emphasize: artistic freedom, the need for open and free conversations, a discussion about how the comics are assessed in comparison with other media formats as well as a discussion about moral and moralism.

I ekonomisk sociologiska studier och forskning om marknaden menas ofta i motsättning till detta att vem som gör är viktigare än vad som görs. Marknaden anses inom den ekonomiska sociologin vara en social konstruktion som skapas utan avsikt och självreproducerar sig. Aspers centrala ordningsprinciper för marknaden gör skillnad på marknader ordnade enligt status och marknader ordnade enligt standard. Målet med denna studie är att förstå och förklara vilken typ av marknad marknaden för äkta smycken i Stockholms innerstad är.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att göra en diskursanalys av barnfetma och överviktiga barn i medieframställningar. Jag vill undersöka bland annat huruvida överviktiga barn framställs som en kategori vilken underordnas en grupp av barn som anses normalviktiga, på vilket sätt frågor om moral kopplas till debatten om barnfetma, vilka som driver den överordnade diskursen samt vad, vem eller vilka som anses orsaka barnfetman. Jag bygger min undersökning på en analys av 80 stycken artiklar, publicerade i tidningarna Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet, Aftonbladet och Expressen under år 2006. Genom min analys finner jag att överviktiga barn underordnas de barn som räknas som normalviktiga, bland annat just på grund av att övervikt definieras som onormalt och därmed som icke önskvärt. Vidare ser jag att övervikt och omoral på flera sätt kopplas samman, till exempel genom att övervikt ses som ett tecken på bristande kontroll.

Our starting point has been to use the football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a model person for individualism that seams to break the ordinary socialization pattern in Sweden. The purpose of this study is to examine how the team leaders handle the socialization of more individualistic focused individuals/young persons into groups, since the Swedish School Curriculum is designed to meet each individual on his or hers former experiences. Is the socialization of individuals within team sports affected by their cultural background? And, in that case, should those facts have consequences for the sport subject at school? Those are the questions we want to explore. Besides a survey of documents, we have been seeking answers to our questions through interviews with the team leaders Roland Nilsson and Peter Bergander, the pedagogues/teachers Karin Jutterström and Håkan Jensgård and the professional football player Abgar Barson.Our study shows that the leaders and teachers of today have begun to change their view about individualists.

Systems development methods has always been an important part of the systems development process. It affects not only the product, but also the organization itself. Today more and more companies are abandoning the more rigid traditional methods for the more flexible agile ones. Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka hur lärare tänker kring och ser på arbetet i arbetslag och samverkan. Studien bygger på ett fenomenografiskt vetenskapligt förhållningssätt och är baserade på kvalitativa intervjuer för att ta reda på några lärares uppfattningar och syn på arbetet inom och utanför arbetslaget. Intervjuerna är utförda på tre olika skolor i två olika kommuner och 16 verksamma lärare har deltagit.Studiens teoretiska bakgrund beskriver det postmoderna samhället och en skola i förändring. Bakgrunden behandlar begreppen balkanisering och Self-efficacy, hur grupper ser ut och vad som påverkar dem. Vidare skildras olika former av samarbetskulturer och modeller som beskriver hur samarbetet kan se ut och vad som påverkar.

För Dewey precis som för Darwin är det förståelsen av människan och hennes värld som är det intressanta.Denna uppsats är en närläsning av Deweys verk Demokrati och utbildning som publicerades för första gången 1916. Verket som är skrivet på tidigt 1900-tal har haft ett stort inflytande på pedagogiskt tänkande generellt, men är också ett av de verkligt intressanta arbetena rörande människan och utbildningens roll för det demokratiska samhället. Verket är av idémässigt fundamental betydelse för den filosofiska tanketradition som kallas pragmatism då Dewey fångar upp den bärande idén om människan i samhället som en del av världen och som beroende av en bra utbildning.Uppsatsen har för avsikt att förmedla och tolka de tankegångar som Dewey låter framträda i Demokrati och utbildning.

Swedens membership in the European Union have resulted in an international characterized labour market. The construction sector is the area who employs most posted workers among the 7400 employees who monthly enters the market. It?s also the sector where a big part of the work-related deaths occurs. The purpose of this study is therefore to contribute to a greater understanding of the regulation regarding posted workers, their work environment and the consequences of it.
