This essay examines how witches are portrayed in American produced TV-series in the year 2000 and forward, what elements could have effected that portrayal in the series and also how this portrayal differs itself from witches within Wicca. The material used for this examination are the TV-series Charmed, The Vampire Diaries and Witches of East End and as comparing literature; Living Wicca, The Spiral Dance and Witchcraft Today. The methods used for this process are discourse analysis and content analysis. I used theories of Pierre Wiktorin about religion and popular culture. I used three themes (Characteristics, Practice and mode of thinking) for the processing of the material and to structure the result.

Kan en revisor vara oberoende? Spelar moral och etik någon avgörande roll vid olika ställningstagande gentemot klienten? Dessa frågor förekommer ofta i diskussioner om revisorer och har blivit allt större efterhand som behoven av tillförlitlig information har ökat hos bland annat investerare. Trots att det varje år upprättas många tillförlitliga årsredovisningar har ett antal skandaler i vår omvärld lett till att revisorernas oberoende har ifrågasatts. Mycket uppmärksamhet har riktats mot både redovisningsprinciper och revision men också bidragit till ett ifrågasättande av revisorns funktion som oberoende, opartisk, objektiv och trovärdig ?granskare?.Vårt syfte med uppsatsen var att undersöka om det fanns någon skillnad mellan hur revisorer på ett antal revisionsbyråer hanterar oberoendefrågor samt om deras moral hade någon avgörande betydelse vid olika ställningstagande.

Inledning: En revisor ställs i sin profession ofta inför etiska dilemman och svårigheter därmoralen sätts på prov. Det är då viktigt att revisorn i fråga agerar så etisktkorrekt som möjligt, dels för att lagen faktiskt kräver det men även för attsamhället på många sätt är beroende av att redovisningen i företagen är riktigtutförd. Eftersom det är universiteten och högskolorna runt om i landet somtillhandahåller den utbildning som krävs för att bli revisor så har även de ettvisst ansvar att ge studenterna utbildning inom etik.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att identifiera eventuella skillnader i det etiskaresonemanget mellan studenter som läser första respektive sista året av sinutbildning med inriktning på redovisning. Författarna avser också att undersökapå vilken nivå studenterna resonerar utifrån Kohlbergs moralutvecklingsteorisamt diskutera vad de eventuella skillnaderna kan bero på.Metod: Författarna intervjuar åtta studenter, fyra förstaårsstudenter och fyrasistaårsstudenter på Handelshögskolan vid Göteborg Universitet. Detta för attse på vilken etisk nivå de resonerar samt om det finns några skillnaderårskurserna emellan.Slutsats: Studien tyder på att det föreligger skillnader mellan de som läser första åretjämfört med de som läser det sista året.

This is a study concerning Hegel?s critic of Rousseau?s common will and shows how Hegel?s concept of freedom should be understood from this criticism. This is done first of all through a study of Rousseau?s social contract and Hegel?s Philosophy of Right. Bakgrund: År 1999 infördes lagen om revisorns anmälningsskyldighet och lagen innebär att revisorn ska anmäla vid misstanke av ett ekonomiskt brott, jämfört med tidigare då revisorn endast hade tystnadsplikten att förhålla sig till. Lagen infördes på grund av den höga ekonomiska brottsligheten där de vanligaste ekobrotten i Sverige är bokföringsbrott och skattebrott. Denna lag skulle underlätta revisorers arbete vid brottssituationer. I stort sett står anmälningsskyldigheten i motsatsen mot tystnadsplikten vilket har lett till att intressenternas förväntningar på revisorers arbete har ökat. Revisorerna har anmälningsskyldighet till myndigheterna samtidigt som de har tystnadsplikt gentemot sina klienter.Syfte: Studiens syfte är att öka förståelsen, sett från revisorers perspektiv, för hur revisorer ser på anmälningsskyldigheten samt att undersöka om hur revisorers erfarenheter kan påverka deras agerande, när det gäller ett misstänkt ekobrott.Metod: Vi har genom en kvalitativ undersökningsmetod utfört studien med utgångspunkt från den induktiva forskningsansatsen.

Furthermore, I am anxious to widen the perspectives of that which theoretically can be considered substantially real, and the existential consequences that follows on such a study. In doing so I must make sure that it´s properly anchored in history of both philosophy and religion, and of course ? with the general idea of God.

The study seeks to clarify a cultural change in the armed forces (FM). The study is based on the hypothesis that repeated operations in war-like environment, where the FM sends professional combat units, develop a warrior culture. The empirical results indicate that there is an existing warrior culture at all three units surveyed.The subculture is verified by the constants of western warrior culture described in theory. During the 20th century Sweden faced an increased proportion of workers registered as part-time unemployed, especially in the care sector. However, due to many valuable efforts, aimed at solving the problem of part time unemployment and political decisions, the number of people who are part-time unemployed has declined since the late 20th century. We have investigated part-time workers preferential right to extending their working hours. According to Section 25 a of the Employment Protection Act, part-time employees who have submitted an interest in increasing their working hours has a preferential right to increased working hours, with the assumptions that full-time employment with the employer will meet a labor need that the employee has sufficient qualifications for.Qualitative interviews have given us information about how Karlstad Community and a private care company deal with part-time unemployment and their workers preferential right to extending their working hours. We have found that people who work for Karlstad Community have an opportunity to choose their number of workings hours, thanks to a political decision made in Karlstad Community, aimed at solving the part time unemployment in the care sector.

The principle of proportionality is a guideline to interpret laws and agreements. The guideline has emerged within the EC-law as a moral aid to interpret laws. During the development of the guideline the EC Court of Justice has had the expression "appropriate and necessary" in mind. With an estimated 250 ethnic groups, Nigeria, no doubt, has been grappling with the problem of pluralism of ethnic nationalities. It is not news in Nigeria that extreme ethnic consciousness of its citizens has led to the victimization of one ethnic group by another. This victimization has come in the form of exclusions in the distribution of both wealth and power in the country.Amidst all the exclusions, the unity of the country has been ironically regarded as sacrosanct, and should not be negotiated. It is often said that fate brought all the ethnic nationalities in order to form one great country. I subscribe to this belief that fate brought us together for the above purpose, especially now that several countries around the world are merging in one way or the other to form a formidable force to reckon with both politically and economically.

Det senaste decenniet har kantats av skandaler runtom i världen som bidragit till en diskussionom revisorns oberoendeställning vilket medfört negativ påverkan på intressenternasförtroende för revisorn. Oberoendeställningen kan påverkas av revisorns dubbla roller somgranskare och rådgivare då dessa inte är förenliga med varandra. Då innehavet av de dubblarollerna innebär att revisorn ställs inför kritiska situationer blir moralen en viktig aspekt.Syftet med studien är således att öka förståelsen för den personliga moralens påverkan pårevisorns oberoendeställning.I vår studie har vi ett hermeneutiskt synsätt då vi ämnar tolka hur respondenterna upplever sinverklighet. Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ studie utifrån revisorns perspektiv för att få endjupare förståelse för hur respondenterna anser att den personliga moralen påverkaryrkesrollen. Genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med revisorer på mindre revisionsbyråer harvi fått fram vårt empiriska material.

A study about Masada as an Israeli national myth during the 20th century? by Sara Tibblin. This essay is about the Israeli national myth of Masada, a cliff in the Negev desert that was the setting of a collective suicide in 73 AD, at the end of the Jewish uprising against the Romans. This story has later been rediscovered and has during the 20th century become a national myth in Israel. This essay will examine how the national myth of Masada has been used in different contexts in Israel during the 20th century and which part it has played when it comes to the national identity of Israel. My findings have afterwards been explained with help of Eriksens theory regarding national myths from the book Historia, myth och identitet (History, myth and identity) (1996).   .
