This investigation aimed to shed light on the terms of the dispensing and the retaining of municipal social benefits granted by Swedish social services, this in regard of a less visible societal subgroup; citizens who cannot attain or retain housing of their own.Through qualitative interviews with six municipal social workers in Skåne, the plight of these citizens is revealed from a policy-making perspective in respect of views on discretion and individual appreciation. How may the applicant impact the application process and how does social subletting operate as a service effort?Further analysis of the accounts of informants? views on change and the reasons for change, sketched an image of a society where public acceptance and tolerance are crucial factors for citizens hoping to achieve a homestead through means of municipal intervention.In conclusion, flexible attitudes towards job description are of major import to the possibility of offering client support in under-staffed municipal environs. The great economic impact of startups on society has made these types of companies an increasingly popular subject for research. Though no single definition of the word startup currently exists, one could define it as a temporary organization in search of a scalable, repeatable, and profitable business model. Seen from a historic perspective, tech-startups in particular should be considered a new phenomenon and the topic is still relatively unexplored. This study investigates the structure in tech-startups during their first months of existence and compares it to the structure that prevails when the companies have recruited at least five additional employees. In addition, the study explains why these changes occur.

Fewer and fewer people from the age of 60 and upward are still in the working life according to a working survey from Central Bureau of Statistics. Only one of twenty can consider retiring after an age of 65. According to another survey that National Insurance Administration put through year 2000, just about 40 % of the working population desires to finish working before an age of 65. This trend towards lower seceding age seems to continue. There are number of factors that seem for lower retirement age and others for a higher retirement age that we prove in our study.

Pain affects us mentally since the body and mind affect each other, which can lead to an evil circle of pain and depression. A typical imbalance in an office worker with the arms in front of the body while working is that the muscles on the front of the trunk will be shortened, since they never work with their full length and become strong because of the constant use. On the other hand, the muscles on the back of the trunk will be weakened and elongated, since they are working in an extended and static position.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om skolkuratorer upplever att makt kommer till uttryck i det elevhälsoteam där de arbetar och i så fall på vilket sätt. Vidare har vi undersökt vad informanterna tror att det kan bero på samt vad det kan få för konsekvenser för socionomens arbete. Vi har genomfört kvalitativa enskilda intervjuer med fem skolkuratorer verksamma på fem olika grundskolor i Göteborg. Resultatet visade att makt kommer till uttryck i elevhälsoteam på två huvudsakliga sätt; som fast genom position och som vandrande mellan teammedlemmarna. Dessa två maktformer har vi valt att benämna som positionell makt och vandrande makt.

A wider purpose is to lift the question about the waiting room as a significant part of peoples encounter with the social services.? To be able to achieve this purpose, we have used two questions: What does the physical waiting room environment look like in social services in Stockholms län? How can we understand and problematize the physical environment factors impact on people who visits these environments? We have observed and photographed ten waiting rooms in ten different social services in Stockholms län.

Kandidatuppsatsens syfte är att undersöka och analysera hur kommuner kan stötta och utveckla sina chefer och hur cheferna har upplevt den satsning som har gjorts. Inom ramen för syftet fokuserar jag på uppfattningar av hur formell ledarutbildning respektive informellt lärande påverkar ledarutvecklingen i kommunen. Studien är av kvalitativ karaktär med inspiration av hermeneutisk ansats då studien inriktas på att tolka och förstå en helhet genom dokumentanalys och intervjuer. Kvalitativa, semistrukturerade intervjuer har genomförts för att få en insikt i vad det är cheferna skulle vilja utveckla och hur detta skall gå till. Resultatet visar att det finns positiva erfarenheter av det ledarprogram som genomförts i en kommun och att respondenterna upplever att de fått en gemensam värdegrund att arbeta med och för att utvecklas vidare som ledare.

Uppsatsens syfte var att undersöka hur socialsekreterare som arbetar inom ekonomiskt biståndupplever sina möjligheter att stödja klientens situation mot en egen försörjning. Dettagenomfördes med kvalitativ metod i form av enskilda intervjuer med sex socialsekreterareverksamma inom ekonomiskt bistånd. De anser att de har en god relation till de flesta av sina klienter,men att de också möter motstånd från klienterna. De upplever att de kan stödja klienterna moten egen försörjning förutsatt att klienterna själva är motiverade till att göra det största jobbet.En fungerande samverkan med andra instanser framhölls som betydelsefull för att arbetet medoch kring klienterna skulle vara som mest gynnsamt.

Utifrån de boendelösningar som den studerade kommunen erbjuder hade socialarbetarna olika sätt att se på dem.

The purose of the study is to increase knowledge regarding systematic enviromentarl work in an organization that works with road services. Work on the road is done in a hazardous environment with constant danger regarding the life of the individual. The site of the work varies in accordance with where the needs ae . This requires skilled workers capable of working independently and that they are experienced din doing their own risk assessments in accordance with the individual believes that the situation calls for work to be performed safely. The study was conducted with a qualitative research approach in which four employees of different positions, knowledge, experience and vision to work in a hazardous environment were interviewed. The focus rests on the organization, management, and individual aspirations for a safe and secure working environment. The study adds weight to the relationship between the purchaser of the work and the organization as a prime contractor due to the compexity of the organization.

Communication is essential for the survival of an organization. The management formulates strategies to ensure thatthe organization will get to where they want it to go. The strategy is then communicated to the Co-workers through the line manager. But who is to say that the Co-worker experience the message the same way as the line manager or the management for that matter? The purpose of this study is toinvestigate how the middle managers at Southern Älvsborg Hospital experience strategic internal communication andfurther how they communicate with their Co-workers.Through a case study approach, the case being the communication of the hospitals research strategy, I conducted 13 interviews.I analyzed the material from the interviews using a hermeneutical approach and I used an interpretative approach to get a deeper understanding.

Bakgrund: Media är idag en av övervakarna inom bolagsstyrningen och forskning visar på att det är den viktigaste övervakaren för att förmedla information till allmänheten. Det finns dock tvetydig och motsägelsefull forskning kring effektiviteten i medias övervakning, då det kan finnas incitament till att inte rapportera på ett opartiskt och oberoende vis. Denna studie kommer granska medias rapportering, för att öka förståelsen för dess rapportering och huruvida det är en fungerande övervakare eller inte.Syfte: Att öka förståelsen kring om media fungerar som en övervakare inom bolagsstyrning och i sådant fall hur.Metod: Studien har en deduktiv forskningsansats där vi genomfört en komparativ flerfallstudie bestående av medias rapportering från fem svenska företagsskandaler, där rapporteringen hämtats från fyra av de största tidskrifterna i Sverige. Det empiriska underlaget har analyserats med hjälp av en analysmodell som beskriver stigmatiseringsprocessen och denna har underlättat behandlingen av det insamlade empiriska underlaget.Resultat: Studien visar på tendenser att media fungerar som en övervakare i en svensk bolagsstyrningskontext, då dess rapportering överensstämmer med de kriterier som en övervakare bör följa..
