This is a study of innovative technologies that are primarily based on collaboration with a client who in this study is called FTG, because they chose to be anonymous. A problem set has been presented, analyzed and worked with. The result of this is that we found some weaknesses in the leadership that have influenced the motivation in the workgroup negatively. The study has focus on changing leadership in order to increase motivation and openness to innovation within the company. With this focus on change in leadership, we have done a basic search for relevant theories related to the topic and found interesting data to work with.

Working with health-management has become something most organizations would describe as essential for being legitimate today. The aim of this thesis is to investigate how this subject is handled in an existing company and how this work is percieved by the employees in the organization. Due to the fact that limited research has been conducted on this issue, we see this thesis as a potential for increasing the understanding of how health management is articulated in practice. Our results show that health management in our studied organization is far reaching in comparison with most organizations, but has room for improvement according to the Integral Theory. The consequence of differences in perceptions between management and employees could result in that health management does not become an integral part of the company and its daily operations to the potential extent..

One mistake and one wrong recruitment can cause a company or an organization huge expense, which are possible to avoid. A right recruitment is about having a good recruitment process which will support the right decision when choosing new employees. The purpose of this thesis is to do an analysis on three recruitment companies recruitment process and show the significance of the recruitment process for hiring the right person for the right position. Variations in fertility have caused a problematic situation in Sweden among other European countries. According to the Council of Europe we are facing an economic and demographic challenge, when the baby boomers of the 1940?s are retiring. Economists have for a long time studied the connection between economic factors and fertility, and several studies have found a correlation between business cycles and birth rates. This connection is again of current interest 2008, when a financial bubble bursts at the same time as a baby boom occurs.

In order to analyze customers? relations a quantitative study has been conducted; focusing on customer satisfaction and customer commitment.

In recent years, employees at large companies have started to demand that their employer should work more for good causes. The money the company wants to donate to charity is distributed mostly through a vote to decide where the money will be remitted. The purpose of this design case is to develop a design concept for a web-based donation service that involves all employees at a company. Furthermore, the authors of this study intends to explore how the motivation for employees of a company can be affected by participation in this service. In this design case, the service function, quality and concept was tested and evaluated.

The division of Electricity at Uppsala University runs a project called Lysekil project, they have designed a buoy that uses the waves to create electric power from a generator attached to the bottom of the sea.Uppsala University is closely connected with the company Seabased and the university makes use of their facilities in Lysekil. When they designed the buoy issues occurred, the geometric design was flawed, brackets with a short shelf life and it is generally uneconomic.A study visit was done in Lysekil on Seabased facility. With this visit the project started, which is to improve the design of the buoy and the attachment of wires leading to the generator. In this project we have chosen to use a beam system with three beams that are attached to the buoy. Then a wire attached to a plate that sits between the beams will be leading to the generator. Two proposals for construction are created, what distinguishes them are the brackets between the beams and the buoy.From these constructions, the design that is considered most optimal for our project is chosen.All parts of the buoy have been modeled and the drawings are designed in ProEngineer software.The two constructions are compared with each other, but the whole focus is on the second and final structure. The report begins with an introduction describing Lysekil project, and a task description of our project.The project aims to produce an optimal buoy that will be easy to design, materials restrictive with good durability and an economical solution.Wave power true function has been studied, mechanical and finite element analysis of beams, buoy and plate design.This has been presented in this report, where in the various chapters can read more about the processes. Introduction: In Skaraborg, a standardized dialogue is being held since 2005 about dietand physical activity, during the 1,5- and 3-years health control at the Child Health Carecentre (CHCC). The aim of the dialogue is to prevent overweight and obesity amongchildren. Hanterbara båtar is a new company who builds alumina boats customized for people in wheelchairs. Due to the fact that the company only built two boats yet, the production documentation is not complete. The drawing that does exist is not in an exact standard which makes production planning harder.The purpose of this work has been to make the production of the boat easier and simplify further development and modification. Product development in the form of optimizing details is also one of the main purpose of this work.This is all done by making a 3D-assembly of all the existing drawings. After this is done new drawings will be made and added to the main assembly.
