Bakgrund: Idag beräknas minst 40 miljoner människor leva med den kroniska sjukdomen HIV. När HIV blev känt under 80-talet ansåg många att det endast var homosexuella eller personer som levde ett promiskuöst liv som smittades vilket gjorde att de smittade behandlades illa och frystes ut från samhället. Kunskapen inom området har ökat sedan dess, dock lever stigmatiseringen i samhället och inom vården kvar. Syfte: Att belysa hur personer med HIV upplever stigmatisering. Metod: Studien som gjorts är en allmän litteraturstudie baserad på 15 vetenskapliga artiklar.

Syftet med denna forskningsöversikt är att undersöka hur makt och maktrelationer beskrivsoch teoretiseras i forskningen mellan socialsekreterare och klient med fokus på klientensbeskrivningar. Denna studie är en integrativ och kvalitativ forskningsöversikt med enabduktiv ansats, där 29 tidigare studier har tematiserats och analyserats med hjälp av maktensfyra ansikten. Studien påvisar att maktbegreppet är ett komplext och svårdefinierat begrepp.Studien visar hur makten kan betraktas utifrån maktens fyra ansikten inom det sociala arbeteti mötet mellan klienten och socialsekreteraren. Vidare diskuteras rekommendationer gällandemaktaspekten för det sociala arbetet utifrån olika studier samt rekommendationer för fortsattforskning. Det är viktigt att klienternas perspektiv, såsom upplevelsen av makt och kontroll,tas upp angående deras möte med de professionella.

The everyday work at a staffing agency and how its leaders deal with the problems that appears: A case study at Maxkompetens.The purpose of this paper is to increase the understanding of how leaders at a staffing company deal with the everyday problems that arise from a geographically dispersed workforce.The staffing industry has grown by 30-40 percent annually and has over the past 15 years been the fastest growing industry in Sweden. This shows that the interest and demand for the staffing industry and its activities are now rising at an increasingly faster pace. This is an industry that is operating under specific conditions and with a geographically dispersed workforce. This will make the leaders of a staffing company to an important link between the staffing leaders and the staffing personnel.The relationship between the staffing company's leaders and its personnel is important, but not completely trouble free. Difficulties arise in that the employees may be located in different places and at various Client companies with the result that the leaders of the staffing company cannot have a daily personal contact with their geographically dispersed personnel.We have used a qualitative approach on our paper and our empirical methodology has been a case study with ethnography and interviews.

The purpose of this article is to examine how social workers may experience fear in their profession, how they and their organizations handle the fear and how the fear may affect their practice. To obtain the purpose, in-depth interviews were carried out with seven social workers from the southeastern part of Sweden. The experiences of fear were many and are summarized in four categories. Fear of treats and violence, fear of the responsibility in complicated situations and without optimal solution, fear of being regarded and judged as worthless and fear of being scrutinized with the risk of being stigmatized. The idea to develop  a platform for a PID-controller came from the need to control the temperature in  an espresso machine in a more exact way than a thermostat could perform. In discussions with Syntronic AB the idea developed into PID-control for industrial use. Syntronic AB suggested that the platform should be based on a commercially available processor module to shorten the development time. The suggestion included the use of the microcomputer Raspberry Pi, which supports USB, HDMI, memory card and Ethernet.The work began with establishing a schedule for the 10 weeks of the projects duration, and after that a system specification listing all functions, implementation and limitations was made. When the foundation of the system specification was done, a preliminary system design took shape.Because of the Raspberry Pi´s lack of Analog-to-Digital converter, a circuit board containing Wheatstone bridges, differential amplifiers and a two channel Analog-to-Digital converter was fabricated.

AbstractA systematic replication study was conducted at the training site at the University of Karlstad. Student therapists performed cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) as a part of their master?s degree in psychology.  The systematic replication that took place was based on the work of Hiltunen et al. (2013), who evaluated the efficacy of CBT treatment conducted at the training site previously mentioned.

The purpose of my study was to see what kind of relationships there were between the youth and the social workers in the treatment home Hassela in Klintehamn, Gotland. The social workers work for six weeks day and night by living together with the youth. I also wanted to examine what happens when there were conflicts between them as signs of tensions in the relationships. In addition to this I wanted to study the relations between power and influence in their relationships where Hassela strives for democracy. My questions were the following; How do the youth and the staff describe the relationships between them? How do conflicts work between them at Hassela? What does the relationship between power and influence look like?The study is based on qualitative interviews with four Clients and four social workers.

EW26 is a Bachelor thesis carried out by students, Jessica Blomberg, Sara Danielsson and Mikael Johansson, during the academic year 2010-2011 at the Innovation Engineering Program of Halmstad University. The project was conducted in close cooperation with Ergosafe AB.Ergosafe develops, manufactures and sells electric sliding windows. Due to the company?s current expansion phase they want to increase their product range. The company has identified a need for large windows that moves vertically.

Currently many organizations are transitioning from the traditional approach to the agile approach regarding systems development methods. It is evident that research has mainly focused on smaller organizations transitioning, whilst less focus has been given t0 larger organizations. We find this interesting and the purpose of this study is to gain a deeper and broader knowledge concerning the following research question: How is system development work affected by a change from traditional system development methods to Scrum in large global organizations. We also investigate how Scrum can be adapted to complex projects with an internal Client. The study is based on a case study, which takes a qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews for information gathering and was conducted on a major Swedish telecom company.

The purpose of this essay was to find conceivable marketing- and business strategies that can be combined with a company?s lifestyle.This essay is dependent on a number of interviews with the owner of a maternity clothing trademark, PROUD. PROUD is a new company that has many different options concerning expansion, trademark and its existing and future products and also the knowledge regarding the Client?s attitude towards PROUD.The authors of this essay believe that the trademark should represent a lifestyle. For a company to be able to deliver, it has to understand what the future Clients want and need.

This study focuses on the use of animals in social work from the perspective of social workers. The purpose of this study is to examine social workers? experiences of animal assisted social work and how social workers view the integration of animals in various fields of social work. The research is based on a qualitative method and four semi-structured interviews were conducted with social workers. The theories incorporated in the study are Attachment Theory and Sense of Coherence (SOC).The following results are presented: Social workers are considered to have a more comprehensive understanding of Clients compared to their associates who do not hold a degree in Social Work.

The thesis has investigated how Sandvik Coromant could implement the SMED principle on one of their grinders groups and what improvements it would lead to. The aim of the thesis is to identify the current situation and investigate how their setup times would be affected by SMED. The work initiated with a literature analysis about the SMED principles and then proceeded with an analysis of the current situation where the activity was time mapped. The analysis consisted of time trials of the process that the thesis would include. The time studies revealed opportunities for structural improvements to create environment for a more structured process.

The aim of this study is to examine if and how the diagnosis of ADHD is important for the social practice delimitation to obtain an understanding of how the sorting and categorization of Clients affects the distribution of resources. In a qualitative approach, the study is based on eight semi-structured interviews in five different social practices. Young adults diagnosed with ADHD who need society's help and support, constituted our focus in the study. The selection is based on gaining an understanding of how the Client process proceeds. The interviews were supplemented with documents, such as legal and internal methodological support.

Bakgrund: Patienttillfredsställelse är ett mått på hur nöjda patienterna är. Patienter förväntar sig att bli bemötta med vänlighet och att uppleva trygghet vid hembesök av distriktssköterskan. I litteraturen finns flera olika instrument som mäter patienters tillfredsställelse med sjuksköterskans vård inom slutenvården. Det finns endast få instrument som mäter patienttillfredsställelse med sjuksköterskans vård i hemsjukvården.Syfte: Syftet var att ta fram ett svenskt instrument som kan mäta patienters tillfredställelse med distriktssköterskans vård vid hembesök. Syftet var också att testa detta instrument i en pilotstudie.Design: Denna studie har en kvantitativ och deskriptiv design.Metod: Client Satisfaction Scale (CSS) har översatts till svenska, validerats med hjälp av litteratur och en expertgrupp samt reliabilitetstestats.
