Utvärdering av kognitiv beteendeterapis (KBT) effektivitet

En systematisk replikation

AbstractA systematic replication study was conducted at the training site at the University of Karlstad. Student therapists performed cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) as a part of their master?s degree in psychology.  The systematic replication that took place was based on the work of Hiltunen et al. (2013), who evaluated the efficacy of CBT treatment conducted at the training site previously mentioned. Another dimension was added to this study by examining wheter the outcome of treatment could be traced to the problem that was treated. The findings of this study conform the findings of Hiltunen et al. (2013) and also indicate a difference between problem areas treated with CBT by student therapists. Client estimations were measured using The Symptom Checklist- 90 (SCL-90), Montgomery Åsberg Depression Scale (MADRS), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSE) and The Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). These estimations show a significant effect of the time variable (p < 0.001). The findings indicate a significant reduction in estimated symptom measured before and after treatment with CBT interventions by student therapists? independent of the problem addressed in therapy. RSE also shows a significant effect of the group variable (p <0.05). The Comparative Psychotherapy Process Scale (CPPS) was used to establish that the treatment used in therapy was indeed CBT. A significant difference between the variables CBT and Psychodynamic-Interpersonal Therapy PIT, t(118) = -6,21, p <0.001, indicate that it was CBT that was the treatment conducted.  Keywords: Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), symptom reduction, student therapist, training site.
