Den ordlösa kroppens närmande : Eidetisk och kroppslig perception i Harold Pinters The Dwarfs

A growing need to strengthen ones position on the market, even as a city in competition with other cities, has resulted in an increasing number of municipalities developing brand platforms. When the city of Umeå developed their platform, they identified decision makers and investors as one of four important target groups.The aim of this study is to explore the portrayed image of the city of Umeå in two Swedish trade journals which addresses the specific target group decition makers and investors in both public and private sector. The aim is also to compare the image of Umeå in the two papers, to the ambition of the municipality, expressed in the brand platform.In order to make the observations as firmly established as possible, the method of the study is a combination of a quantitative content analysis and a qualitative text analysis. The study draws on the theories of Eli Avraham and Philip Kotler, concerning how to improve city images and how to market a specific city among others. The study shows that the city of Umeå in large extent is portrayed in accordance to the ambition which the municipality expressed in the brand platform.Umeå is displayed as an expanding city.

En diamant eller oslipad sten? - Employer branding: om företagsimage och attraktionskraft

Ett av syftena med studien var att undersöka skillnader i Ingenjörsstuderande respektive Anställdas uppfattning om Lantmäteriets image som arbetsgivare. Det andra syftet med studien var att se om det förelåg skillnader i uppfattning av en Ideal arbetsgivares image och Lantmäteriets image som arbetsgivare. Studien genomfördes med stöd av en enkätundersökning med Ingenjörsstuderande och Anställda vid Lantmäteriakademin som deltagare. Totalt deltog 102 personer i studien; 55 Ingenjörsstuderande och 47 Anställda. Mätinstrumentet var Employer Attractiveness Scale (EmpAt).

Attrahera, utveckla & behålla - En explorativ studie om två företags förhållningssätt till Employer Branding

Studiens syfte är att utifrån två företags perspektiv, utforska innebörder i Employer Branding som fenomen och begrepp samt hur detta relaterar till arbete med Human Resources. Avsikten är vidare att belysa arbetsmarknadens utveckling med fokus på immateriella värden och flexibilitet, i förhållande till begreppet Employer Branding. Arbetsmarknadens utveckling skapar, vad Allvin, Aronsson, Hagström, Johansson & Lundberg (2006) beskriver som ?det nya arbetslivet? vilket präglas av bland annat ökade krav på flexibilitet för såväl individer som organisationer. En effekt av det nya arbetslivet är enligt Allvin et al.

We have a business proposal. Instead of the consumers visit the country side in order to purshase we are interested in starting a shop with only regional produced products in the city. We have our base in a part of Sweden called Östergötland, therefore we have investigated the market for such a store in Östergötlands biggest city, called Linköping. The conclusion is that the store must sell food produced in the region. Another conlusion is that the store must be located near a bigger supermarket. Our main selling points are quality and that the food is produced in the near region.

Or rather, initiating a processwhere the built environment can infiltrateand enrich the natural environment gradually.A city park in this location to initiate thisprocess could be a joint project of the city?sresidents with the scope to become a projectin constant development.The idea of the project is to offer a large ecologicalpark and meeting place near the citycenter. This bachelor essay aims to illuminate different images and ideas about Bellevue industrial area.The area is situated in a district in Gothenburg, called Gamlestaden, where Bellevue industrialarea is a former industrial area, today mostly used by minor occupations. The district is facing amajor transformation, based on a detailed master plan. One aim is to create a district with mixedfunctions; like residences, businesses, offices, services and cultural activities all together. Thisessay is based mainly from a user perspective, but it also has the perspective from the ideas andvisions by the City Planning Office.The material is mainly based on interviews with seven informants, representing different kinds ofoccupations in the area. One interview is also made with a city planner.

Psykosocial arbetsmiljö och employer branding i en public service-organisation

På en konkurrensutsatt arbetsmarknad måste både arbetsgivare och arbetstagare gynnas för attkunna skapa en hållbar arbetsplats. Detta tror vi kan formas med hjälp av ett strategiskt HRarbetesom jobbar internt med employer branding i samspel med de anställdas psykosocialaarbetsmiljö men även externt mot andra aktörer för att kunna vara attraktiva som arbetsgivare.Arbetskraften inom teknikbranschen utgörs idag till stor del av generation X och Y, somlockas och engageras av helt andra faktorer i arbetet så som frihet, kreativitet ochmeningsfullhet till skillnad från tidigare generationer (Parment & Dyhre 2009). Dessaförväntningar ställer andra krav på arbetsgivare för att skapa en god arbetsmiljö men även föratt bygga ett attraktivt employer branding-arbete.Syftet med vår uppsats är att förstå sambandet mellan psykosocial arbetsmiljö och employerbranding i en public service-organisation. Vår studie genomförs på en av organisationensdivisioner. Genom att kartlägga divisionens psykosociala arbetsmiljö samt sammanställakännetecknen för den psykosociala arbetsmiljön och employer branding-arbetet undersöker vihur dessa två områden kan kopplas samman med varandra.Tidigare forskning där dessa två områden förs samman är begränsad.

Delaktighet är det nya svarta : En fallstudie av internkommunikation under en organisationsförändring och Employer Branding

Den här uppsatsen bygger på en fallstudie av ett callcenter i en pågående organisationsförändring och ett medvetet arbete med Employer Branding. Syftet var att undersöka vilka internkommunikativa strategier som bolaget använt sig av i inledningsfasen av organisationsförändringen samt det medvetna arbetet med Employer Branding. För att få svar på syftet bygger undersökningen på tre frågeställningar samt vilar mot ett ramverk som tar upp teorier och tidigare forskning i ovan nämnda ämnen. För att få svar på frågeställningarna har en omfattande e-postenkät genomförts hos organisationens ledningsgrupp samt en enkätundersökning bland övriga organisationsmedlemmar. Resultatet visar att ledningsgruppen har lyckats väl med att skapa en förståelse för organisationsförändringens syfte, vision och målbild hos dem som varit delaktiga i uppstartsfasen men att en hög personalomsättning kräver att informationen upprepas för att skapa en förståelse hos alla.

Utflyttning från Cottbus : en studie av ungdomars och studenters utflyttning från en östtysk storstad

The purpose of this essay is to describe and partly explain the migration from a German city, and to illustrate the political difficulty surrounded by the phenomenon.I?ve composed following question issues to fulfill the purpose of the study:1.How does the migration take form in Cottbus?2.Why do the students want to migrate?3. Do the politicians consider the migration as a problem? What kind of measures do they want to introduce to prevent it?The survey has been done with mainly qualitative research methods, but it contains some quantitative elements.I?ve made an opinion poll survey among students in Cottbus, interviews with politicians at the city council and interviews with four students that have already left the city.The results of the study show that the will to migrate is widespread by the students in Cottbus. It?s first and foremost the chance to get a job that drives the students to migrate.The city has a deficit of 180 million Euros in household, which makes the politicians to feel helpless, facing the problem of migration.

Upplevelser av beslutsprocesser inom den kommunala hemtjänsten

The aim of this thesis is to examine the properties of the municipalities in Sweden that influence the choice of being a certified Fairtrade city. The independent variables which are used in the statistical analysis are municipal governance, local tax rate, whether there is an university and/or university college in the municipality, average income and higher education in the municipality. The variables are examined by logistic regression. Since there are no statistical data on ethical procurement, this exogenous variable isn?t included in the regression.

The purpose with this thesis is to clarify how estate agents working with their marketing and marketing strategies. Our study has occured in Kalmar and we have used five different estate agents for our collection of empiric?s data. We have worked with a qualitative methodology to achieve deeper knowledge about these five company?s which have been chosen for the study.We have selected theories that suit our subject and together with the empiric data these two parts will be compared which concludes in an analysis.

Teknisk utredning för anslutning av vindkraftverk till elektriskt nät

The city of Kalmar has a desire that their 3D maps of the city should come to a greater use and get residents more involved in Kalmar city. The purpose of this report is to show one way to work with these 3D maps when it comes to presenting information about Kalmar for its residents and tourists in a specific area.  The report also includes information about advantages and disadvantages with the use of 2D and 3D maps in different environments. Various reports and other sources indicate an interest in 3D and a use for this, but even that 2D is still seen as a natural way to read a map. By collecting information from relevant literature, interviews and user testing, the group has obtained sufficient background information to present the results of a web site, where the visitor can navigate in both 2D and 3D in a specific area of Kalmar. User tests and surveys have been conducted in two rounds and the web site has been revised after their results..

Malmö som stad, upplevelse och varumärke: En diskursanalys av en postindustriell stads framtidsvisioner

This is a discourse analysis concerning the visions for Malmö's future. Three concepts are studied to see which meaning these are given in the Malmö context. The studied concepts are ? development (utveckling), industry (näringsliv) and citizen (befolkning).The meanings of these concepts are studied against a backdrop of theories of inclusion/exclusion in general and inclusion/exclusion in the city more specific. Michael Foucault´s notion of a discourse which stigmatizes those not following a behaviour which is defined as being right and normal is central to this.

Barns kunskaper om djurarter : Kan kunskaperna skilja beroende på vart man bor?

This study is about differences in knowledge regarding animals. In the study five year old preschool children from a city were compared to five year old preschool children in the suburbs with multicultural background. The study is also about where children´s knowledge about animals comes from and how educators can make a positive difference. To find this out standardized interviews was used on 23 children from four different preschools, two preschools in the suburbs with 15 children and two preschools in the city with 13 children. A survey was sent out to the educators within these preschools to gather background information on what the children do regarding animals.

Internet påverkar vår vardag i allra högsta grad. Våra rutiner har förändrats och därmed ställs det även krav på företagen att möta sina kunder där kunderna finns. En bransch som tagit stor hänsyn till detta är bankvärlden. Men hur möter de kunderna på den digitala arenan? Hur hanterar de sitt varumärke ur ett digitalt perspektiv?  Denna studie har som syfte att undersöka just detta och se på fyra av de svenska rikstäckande bankernas digitala varumärkeshantering och hur de arbetar med kommunikation i digitala kanaler.
