Moldova is one of Europe?s poorest countries with a struggling business environment and an unpredictable political situation. The purpose of this thesis is to understand the implications of corruptions and why networks have come to play a key role in the Moldovan culture and if the formations of network are due to heritage or an effect of functionalism. The focus of the study is also to explain how the networks develop and the formation and maintenance of loyalty and trust among the members of the network. The study is of a qualitative nature that uses a key informant sampling method to get access to members of different business networks.

The study consist of an investigation regarding the implementation of reassurance policing in Sweden and include a survey conducted among some of the local police offices in Stockholm County. The aim of the study is to investigate how the police officers working in the local polices offices experience the implementation of the local police offices and if the implementation of local the polices offices matches the police authority´s purpose with the project. The study uses the theoretical framework from political scientist Michael Lipsky calledStreet-level bureaucracy - Dilemmas of the individual in Public services which discuss the role of street-level bureaucrats and their influence in the implementation. Included in the study is also two different perspectives on governing in public sector called top-down perspective and bottom-up perspective. The findings of this paper shows that the police officers are in general positive towards the implementation and that there´s a duality among the police officers regarding the proximity to the citizens..

New political parties are increasing as phenomena in Swedish politics. Some of these parties have gained much attention in the media, and recent examples are Junilistan, Feministiskt initiativ and Sjukvårdspartiet. Media plays an important role for political parties as it is a way for the parties to communicate with the citizens. Therefore this essay examines how these three new parties have been pictured in media lately, and with what arguments they are discussed. This is done by argument analysis of editorials in five Swedish newspapers.

Att gräva där man står är en kvalitativ och hermeneutisk studie som undersöker vad utövare av de förtrycktas teater har för målsättningar och vad de vill förändra. Intervjuer ifrån åtta utövare/teatergrupper i Brasilien och Argentina kategoriseras i resultatdelen utifrån sex olika målsättningar: skapa forum, politisk förändring, att gräva där man står, anpassning och terapi,personlig utveckling, styrkan i att arbeta i grupp. Vidare presenteras två olika nivåer som utövarna verkar på: en samhällelig och en individuell nivå. Metodens potential att förändra och utövarnas målsättningar förstås sedan i tolkningsdelen med hjälp av forskning på området som tar sitt avstamp i Marx och Bourdieus teoretiska ramverk. In the digital era, new services have entered the public libraries, like seeking information on the Internet, in databases, newspapers online etc. But many citizens do not know that these services exist. The libraries have a democratic responsibility to inform about them. In the county of Östergötland a project started in 2001 where libraries in five small municipalities built websites in which they present all their electronic services available. One of the aims was with the help of different kinds of marketing to reach special groups of people, like adult students, small companies and politicians.

The purpose of my study was to find out how staff in after-school activities thinks they work with norms and values, we may call this values education, and how this in turn may influence children's norms and values. By extension, how children are socialized with each other and develop socially. In my research, I have interviewed five of the after-school activities staff who work with children aged 6-9 years at a school in the neighbourhood Rinkeby-Kista in northwestern Stockholm.The results show that after-school activity according to the staff can play a very important and sometimes crucial role in children's social development. Staff believes that if they do not learn the social rules by participating in playing and games in early childhood, when growing up they are outside and cannot participate. By their pedagogical approaches, in terms of values and norms, the adults in after-school activities can help children to become socialized into a community of solidarity and eventually as adults become responsible citizens able to function and participate in society..

I denna uppsats gör vi en ansats till att förklara varför konflikten i Tjetjenien inte är löst. Genom att undersöka om konflikten i Tjetjenien är en Protracted Social Conflict, får vi fram de underliggande mekanismerna och komplexiteten som gör att konflikten kan fortgå. När dessa är tydliggjorda identifierar och senare kritiserar vi de traditionella fredsbyggandestrategierna, vilka inte är tillräckliga i en sådan komplex konflikt. Detta framförallt på grund av att de traditionella fredsbyggandestrategiernas mål snarare är att bygga en liberal markandsdemokrati snarare än fred. För att komma till en lösning krävs en uppmuntran till civilbefolkningen att utveckla forum som kan överbrygga splittringen mellan de olika identitetsgrupperna, detta är dock något som måste ske frivilligt och på folkets egna premisser..

Syftet med vår studie har varit att undersöka vad pedagogiskt drama kan bidra med i skolans värdegrundsarbete. Vi har valt att begränsa oss till elevernas upplevelser kring jämställdhet och allas lika värde. Där eleverna fått möjlighet att reflektera över drama passens innehåll, och komma med förslag till förändring genom fiktiva situationer. Vi har använt oss av kvalitativ metod där vi har varit deltagande observatörer, och använt oss av pedagogiskt drama i värdegrundsarbetet. Det vi har kommit fram till är att pedagogiskt drama är ett bra verktyg att problematisera och synliggöra normer, samt skapa forum för diskussion.

The effects of the climate changes are expected to generate several substantial direct and indirect consequences on both ecosystems and societies. It is the extent of the negative consequences that determents the vulnerability of the things or the ones exposed. The knowledge of the effects and consequences by a changing climate provides an opportunity to take measures to reduce the vulnerability.Our society?s vulnerability depends on how we choose to act out of the existing knowledge and what measures we choose to take. Karlstad municipality has good knowledge and perception of the increased flood risks the climate changes will generate and the probable consequences that most likely will follow. How the municipality decides to manage the flooding issue is not just affected by the will to mitigate the vulnerability but also by the vision to increase the number of citizens.

Syftet med denna studie var att via en kvalitativ studie med intervju somdatainsamlingsmetod ta reda på hur elevinflytandet fungerade i skolår fyra och skolårfem. Jag ville även ta reda på om lärare och elever har samma syn på elevinflytandesamt på vilket sätt man skulle kunna utveckla elevinflytandet. Resultaten visade atteleverna hade mer inflytande över praktiska saker som rör deras vardag än vad dehade i planering av undervisning. Elever och lärare var överens om att det är viktigtmed elevinflytande, men även att båda parter trivs med en tydlig lärarroll som hartydlig struktur. Resultaten visade även att klassråd och elevråd var två forum somlärare och elever uppskattar, då elevernas åsikter kan komma till tals.

A controversial party?s entry into parliament - a review of Expressen?s depiction of the Sweden Democrats (Sverigedemokraterna)The purpose of this essay was to study how Expressen presents the Sweden Democrats, as well as reasoning about the effects this depiction could have on the citizens? opinion. Using a quantitative method I studied 122 articles, and through a qualitative method four of these could be further analyzed to reach a deeper result. The theoretical perspective that was applied in this study was primary agenda-setting and framing theory, to illuminate the power of media. The result showed that a prominent theme was to present Sweden Democrats as racists.

Forskning benämner de barn och ungdomar som föddes under åttio- och nittiotalet som internetgenerationen. Innebörden av detta begrepp är att vi har en hel generation som vuxit upp med nätet som ett ständigt närvarande fenomen samt att detta i sin tur påverkat ungas vardag, socialisation och inlärning. Den omfattande effekt nätet haft på samhället och våra yngre generationer har i sin tur påverkat det pedagogiska uppdraget. Jag har gjort en kvalitativ undersökning där jag intervjuat fem pedagoger om deras tankar kring internet och dess inverkan på pedagogens uppdrag. Pedagogerna är alla eniga om att internet spelar en viktig roll i barns och ungas tillvaro samt att barn visar kunskaper om IT och nätet redan första året i skolan.

This essay follows a Media Teacher in her work as a coordinator and an artistic leader for a European project called Legalopoli concerning laws and ethics in a senior level school for 13-16 year-olds in Mora, Sweden. The students write film stories about how their characters have to make choices in ethical dilemma situations. Then the learners create interactive computer games together through practical film work. At the same time we can see how the educator also gets into difficult ethical situations, when she is working with the students. This forces her to self-reflection.

My essey concern the non-profitable organization Ung företagsamhet and their extenal communication with collaborators. I have done three intervjues with three of Ung företagsamhets 24 district in Sweden, and these are Kalmar, Jönköping and Skåne. My qustions conserns their rethoric and strategic communications channales, and the focus lies in their external communications with collaborators. I have also made a secondary data analysis about their media coverage and seen how they consciously works with it.Ung Företagsamhet is a non-profit organization that need good partnerships in order to survive financially. My analysis shows that the three different regions works variously with their external communication.

Citizens? freedom of choice has been a subject of debate in Sweden for over 30 years. This study focuses on decision making processes among patients within the Swedish healthcare system. The main conclusions are that in contrast to how patients? freedom of choice is described within governmental bills and governmental inquires and reports, patients are not following the steps included in the rational model of decision making.
