Brottsförebyggande Rådet (BRÅ) genomförde tillsammans med Forum för levande historia en studie angående intolerans bland svenska skolungdomar. Resultatet visade att det fanns en relativt stor grupp intoleranta. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka eventuell intolerans bland skolungdomar från grundskolans senare år och gymnasiet i Luleåområdet samt att jämföra deras kunskap och attityd rörande Förintelsen. Undersökningen genomfördes med kvantitativa enkäter riktade mot de valda undersökningsgrupperna samt genom kvalitativa litteraturstudier. Resultatet visade att de undersökta skolungdomarna uppvisade tendenser att vara mer intoleranta än riksgenomsnittet.

People are given better opportunities to participate in polity today. Democratic equality entails that all individuals are equal and therefore they should be included in the process of making the decisions. How can participation be defined and does it mean that having the possibility to participate means that people can influence the process of making the decisions in polity process?This paper focuses on participation and influence in polity and examine the relationship between having the possibility to participate and having the possibility to actually influence polity process on more local level. Therefore I have been examining the citizens? participation and influence in Helsingborg which is my case study.

Självscanning introducerades i butiker för ett antal år sedan och finns nu i butiker som Ica Maxi och Coop Forum. Investeringskostnaden för ett sådant system är dock hög och butiker med lägre omsättning har därmed inte råd att köpa in detta system. Detta projekt syftade till att utveckla ett alternativ, med en applikation till Android för scanning. Tanken var att kunderna då kan använda sina mobiltelefoner som scannrar vilket skulle minska investeringskostnaden för butikerna.Genom att studera existerande system, togs en lösning bestående av två delar fram, dels applikationen men även en server med en databas för lagring av kundernas varukorgar. För testning av lösningen utvecklades även en testmiljö bestående av en prisdatabas och en kassa i form av ett datorprogram.

Sexuella närmanden som sker via nätet är dokumenterat i ett flertal studier. Dessa närmanden kan se ut på olika sätt, ofta i form av trakasserier. Anonymitet är en förutsättning för att kunna utsätta andra för sexuella närmanden. Bakom en dataskärm kan individer låtsas vara någon annan och därmed tänja på gränserna. Människor använder internet i olika syften, bland annat för att finna sexuella partners och kärlekspartners.

What are the opportunities, advantages- anddisadvantage with this digital technique?The answers from the architects, together with work that has been done withdigital visualization technique in a project called Project Sofiedal, shows thatthis technique has big opportunities when it comes to create nice looking VRpresentations. The result in this report also shows that this digital technique ismore time demanding compared to hand drawn presentations.The investigation shows that digital visualization technique is a goodcompliment when it is about showing the citizens how future projects willaffect the surrounding.

The aim of this study is through a policy analysis to illuminate the decisions that the EU has taken to respond to the terrorist attacks in the US, Madrid and London and through this analysis try to explain the problem of each decision and find out if these decisions might risk the individual rights of the European Union?s citizens.In order to reach this purpose the following questions are to be answered: In what way has the EU?s decision-making process, regarding its fight on terrorism, been affected by the terrorist attacks in Madrid and London? What consequences may the EU?s decisions against terrorism have on the individual rights?The method that has been used is qualitative studies of literature and the main material is overarching policy documents from the EU.The conclusions are that the bombings in Madrid and London have increased the speed of the decision-making process and more areas have been included in the union?s fight against terrorism. If individual rights are at risk by the union?s decisions there are reasons to be concerned. But my conclusion is that the European Union has to have strong and effective instruments to answer to the threat of terrorism..

Public opinion can be shaped as well as transformed in a number of ways. Government authorities occasionally make use of public information campaigns to educate and steer the public. In this thesis the balance between public and private, the individual and the society is analysed in terms of dimensions of individualism and communitarianism. These dissimilar theories on how the society ought to be constructed can be used when analysing many different policy areas, however, they also pinpoint the controversies seen in the public debate regarding Swedish information policy. Based on this analysis an empirical study identifies what kind of knowledge the state wants the citizens to possess and public information campaigns can be problematic.

Wiklund, Marie-Louise (2007) Lärares syn på specialpedagogens arbete. (Teachers views on special needs educational competence) Skolutveckling och ledarskap, Specialpedagogisk påbyggnadsutbildning, Lärarutbildning, Malmö högskola. Syftet med detta arbete är att beskriva och undersöka lärarnas syn på specialpedagogens arbete. Baserat på lärarnas arbetssituation i skolan vill jag undersöka hur man använder sig av specialpedagoger i dag och se vilka övriga önskemål och behov som finns. Med hjälp av en strukturerade intervjuer vill jag åskådliggöra lärarnas syn på specialpedagogens arbete. Sammanfattningsvis visar mitt resultat på att specialpedagogen är en viktig person i skolan. Att undervisa är vad lärare är vana vid att specialpedagogen gör.

Syftet är att undersöka vad förskollärare har för syfte med samlingen i den pedagogiska verksamheten. Vi har i undersökningen använt oss av en kvalitativ metod med enkätundersökning med tio förskollärare från fyra olika förskolor. Som teoretisk utgångspunkt i arbetet har vi ett sociokulturellt perspektiv där fokus är samspelet mellan individer. Samlingen kan ses som ett forum med tillfälle att lära av varandra.Undersökningen visar att samlingen har flera olika syften och ses som ett viktigt moment i verksamheten. I resultatet framkom att förskollärarna anser att samlingens främsta syfte är att uppmärksamma varje barn men även att det viktigt att skapa en god gruppgemenskap och en vi-känsla. Vår förhoppning är att detta arbete skall inspirera pedagoger i förskolan till att reflektera över samlingens syfte och dess innehåll samt ställa sig frågan: För vem har vi samling?               .

With this study we intend to investigate and analyse three different preschool?s holdings of toys and discuss the result in relation to the creation of subject. The investigation in this study consists of an inventory of the holdings of toys at three different preschools. We have used an already existing system for classification which is composed by Nilsson and Nelson (2002). The results give a detailed survey of collected material in the form of tables in which we indicate the comparisons which are relevant to our purpose.

Utbildning och erfarenhetsutbyte inom franchise är ett lagstadgat krav och nyckelfaktorer för en fungerande och framgångsrik franchiseverksamhet. Franchisegivare försöker därför ständigt förbättra utbildningen och erfarenhetsutbytet och frågan är om e-learning kan vara ett lämpligt verktyg för detta. Denna uppsats syfte är att undersöka möjligheten att komplettera utbildningen av franchisetagare och erfarenhetsutbytet mellan franchisegivare och franchisetagare med e-learning. Vidare att presentera en rekommendation för den mest lämpliga e-learningplattformen. För att uppfylla syftet valde vi att kartlägga hur utbildningen och erfarenhetsutbytet går till idag och vilken kunskap som förmedlas, intresset för att komplettera dessa aktiviteter med e-learning samt vilken e-learningplattform som är lämplig för detta.

The aim of this thesis is to form a theory of the green consumer power and to distinguish whether this phenomenon could indicate a movement toward the ecological citizenship. To do so, scientific theories regarding the responsibility of companies have been used, as well as the public choice theory, to link individuals as citizens to individuals as consumers. The motives of corporate environmental responsibility, along with consumers ability to bring pressure in different dimensions, are later drawn on as indicators applied to empirical information. The largest producer of ecological products in Sweden, Arla Foods, is employed as case study to explore if the green consumer power can and does exist. The ecological citizenship uses the ecological footprint, to define in what ways we can minimize our part of environmental degradation.The study seems to strengthen the theory, consumers do have a power to make companies go green and they tend to use it increasingly.

I have investigated the political culture of post-communist Russia. For a long time it has been assumed that, the history is of great importance in shaping the political culture. I wanted to find out if this was true, I chose to study the political culture of Russia. How great effects had the autocratically legacy of Soviet Union in the democratisation of Russia? My thesis show that the role of history isn't of such great importance, instead it's the Russian state that has had the greatest possibility of shaping the political culture of Russia but it failed.

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether social counselling via chat conversations could meet the criteria for a professional conversation, and how the six social workers who were interviewed felt that it had affected the profession and the clients who are seeking their help.Communication, professionality, power, roles and regions are the key topics of this study. A hermeneutic approach has not only influenced the interviews but also the content analysis that was used to encode the results.The interviews revealed that the chat conversations was a successful tool but not entirely without difficulties. The initial contact making between the client and the social worker favours the client, since she/he remains anonymous and that was the main advantage of the method. The biggest concern however was that in the anonymity it is not possible to report cases that the social worker are obligated to. The changing of forum does not necessarily affect the professionality but due to the faceless chat conversation an entire dimension of communication disappears because the loss of body language.
