Denna uppsats hanterar hur kvinnliga karaktärer porträtteras i romantisk komedi genom att närmare studera begreppet ?Manic Pixie Dream Girl?. Detta begrepp leder till missförstånd om kvinnans roll i filmens värld och skapar diskussioner om jämställdhet och västerländsk berättarkultur. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka två kvinnor i två olika romantiska komedier uppfyller de kriterier som nämns av Manic Pixie Dream Girl-begreppets myntare, Nathan Rabin, har lagt fram och om det således är motiverat att argumentera att karaktärerna upprätthåller sexistiska synsätt. Den teoretiska grund som uppsatsen bygger på kommer främst från feministisk teori, men även från Laura Mulveys teori om skopofili och den manliga blicken.

The middle ages is a time in our history that is often used as a frame when portraying fantasy on tv. HBOs immensely popular series Game of Thrones could easily be counted as one of these. But to what extent does the creators of the series approach the history of our world while creating their own? The aim of this essay is to analyse a number of characters from the tv- series out of gender- and their place in the social structure and then compare the findings with the image of the middle ages that is given in academic research. By analysing the two released seasons of Game of Thrones the study has shown that there are many similarities between the fictional world and the actual world but that it also differs through choices made by the creators of the series. .

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to analyse the reading- and writing-approaches: the LTG-method and the whole language-theory. The attention is to perform a comparative literate-study to distinguish their similarities and differences, and examine which one of the approaches that is most clearly anchored in the syllabus of the subject Swedish. The starting-point of the study is the questions: Which similarities respectively differences have the LTG-method and the whole language-theory? Which one of these theories is most clearly anchored in the syllabus of the subject Swedish? The study has shown that both the whole language-theory and the LTG-method can anchor in the syllabus for Swedish. However the whole language-theory has stronger hold in the syllabus, as the whole language emphasises the meaning of literature for reading- and writing-learning, and considers the pupils reflection during their learning-process and conquered knowledge-goal.

This essay deals with the weak and unstable urbanization process of the town Falkenberg. The aim has been to explore how a new town could be established just a kilometre away from the town (Old) Falkenberg and what kind of meaning the town had in relationship to the towns Halmstad and Varberg. This was made through the study of the political situation in Denmark and Sweden during the 15th century and through a comparison of the town churches. The archaeological material of Falkenberg is very small and thus I had to trust the available historical literature about the town.Not much of the oldest history of the town is known, but a conflict between the landed aristocratic family Thott and the king Kristian I in Denmark has been interpreted as a reason to the establishing of the town. In conclusion the survey showed that the king probably established New Falkenberg in purpose to limit the trading possibilities of Thott and to, at the same time, increase his own power in the district.

This essay is a study of the use of IT technology by teachers of English and History at a Swedish upper secondary school. It is based on four interviews and four observations. In my analysis of these I have made use of the theory of Social Shaping of technology, a theory which puts emphasis on a teacher´s purpose regarding the use of IT technology in order to empower the teaching process. As a researcher I aim to explore the reasoning on the part of the teacher and to that end I use the method of interviews and observations. This study shows different ways of using IT technology varying from one teacher to another.

Syftet med denna uppsats blir att ta reda på hur reformatorn Olaus Petri uttryckte sin främlingsfientlighet och mot vem eller vilka den riktades. Med främlingsfientlighet menas i denna uppsats inte bara rädsla för utlänningar utan också rädsla för det som var annorlunda trots att det betecknades som svenskt. Reformationen var inte bara en religiös och andlig företeelse. Den gjorde också anspråk på att vilja styra hur människor skulle tänka och agera i det dagliga livet. This present study is a result of a research that I made . My purpose is to find out how the debate about inclusion looked like back in the history. My research was about the view we had absolut inclusion in the history, I also made some interviewes among teachers and students in the schools of today. I wanted to se their views about inclusion today and I wanted to know their opinions about inclusion. Did the students and the teachers have prejudice against other students with functional disabilities as Down syndrom and blindness? Crystal use has existed throughout human history and is a phenomenon that has become more popular globally like the other phenomena that are a part of the new age movement. There is still a great deal of skepticism towards crystals by people who are not familiar with them due to its unusuality to the stuff that people deem as normal. This paper is based on an anthropological fieldwork consisting of interviews with people that are affiliated with crystals such as staff at crystal shops, crystal healers & generally people who are interested in crystals and participant observations in places were crystals can be located. The material was gathered in a period of 9 weeks in the beginning of 2024. I aim to give insight into the relationships between crystals and humans but also the effects crystals have on the users.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att utforma ett kursupplägg till A-kursen i historia på gymnasiet som utgår från perioden 1900-2009. Vi ville undersöka om man genom ett sådant upplägg kunde uppnå kursmålen och samtidigt skapa ett bra underlag för att fördjupa historiemedvetandet hos eleven. Historiemedvetande och genealogi var två centrala teoretiska begrepp i utformandet och utvärderingen av upplägget. I kursupplägget arbetar vi oss framåt genetiskt från år 1900 och gör genealogiska kopplingar till den tidigare historien. Perioden 1900-2009 delades in i 10 arbetsområden, där viktiga händelser och skeenden behandlades, och utifrån vilka genealogiska kopplingar gjordes.
