Förekomsten av brott är ett stort problem i vårt samhälle och har stor inverkan på de enkla beslut som tas i vår vardag, exempelvis på valet av område att bosätta sig i. Historiskt sett har ansvaret för att förebygga brottslighet legat hos polisen och de enskilda hushållen men de kan inte allena lösa problemen med brottslighet, och följaktligen blir en bredare strategi för brottsförebyggande arbete nödvändig. Ett sätt att utforma säkerheten är genom arkitektur och kallas för Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED). Perspektivet avser att minska både möjligheter och rädslan för brott genom att utnyttja de möjligheter som finns att öka överblickbarheten, att ta vara på framtoningen av ett område och att stärka den territoriella känslan hos invånare i ett bostadsområde.Grunden för den teoretiska ramen kommer från artikeln Towards an Economic approach to Crime and Prevention (2002), och använder sig av de fyra begreppen som utvecklades av Clark och Homel (ökad ansträngning, en ökad risk, minska belöningar och minimera antalet potentiella ursäkter). Det finns mängder av litteratur som behandlar ett ekonomiskt angreppssätt på brottslighet, men det finns emellertid få ekonomiska bidrag vad gäller att förebygga brott, och ännu färre inom området för att utforma brottsförebyggande arkitektur.

AbstractI have chosen to make a study of the learning of reading and writing, as well as other learning difficulties that may occur, in this research.My choice of subject is based on the realizations I made during my time as a student teacher; that each teacher has his/her own way of teaching reading and writing. Sometimes, however, learning difficulties occur, and this insight caught my attention. It made me think about the underlaying reasons and how we, as teachers, can bring attention to these difficulties. With these questions in mind, I recorded my observations based on a series of interviews and literary studies in an attempt to answer my questions. The resulting research emphasizes how important the actions from the teachers are, as well the importance of having variety in your lesson plan.

Fysisk aktivitet hos äldre är viktig för att förebygga sjukdom samt för att upprätthålla självständighet och en bra livskvalitet. Fysisk aktivitet går att mäta med instrument, såsom accelerometer eller att skatta med skattningsskalor. Syftet med detta arbete var att undersöka om den fysiska aktiviteten är korrelerad med den fysiska funktionsförmågan och om fysisk aktivitet bestämd med accelerometri går att prediktera med skattningsskalor. I studien inkluderades totalt 27 patienter som opererats för höftfraktur. 14 av dessa var kvinnor med medelåldern 80 år (62-94) och 13 var män med medelåldern 82 år (73-94).

LUS är en förkortning för läsutvecklingsschema, vilket är ett koncept som skolor i hela eller delar av kommuner använder sig av, för att få en överblick på elevernas läsförmåga.Syftet med denna C-uppsats är att analysera huruvida LUS är ett relevant och användbart instrument i dagens högstadieskola, vad gäller arbetet med elevers läsutveckling.Min undersökning innehåller dels en teoretisk del som bygger på LUS egen forskning, dels en praktisk del som grundar sig på tre kvalitativa lärarintervjuer. Resultatet av min undersökning visar att LUS bygger på sociokulturella tankegångar, där ? trots en kompetensteoretisk uppbyggnad ? den individuella läsupplevelsen står i fokus och den optimala läsningen anses vara den som ligger inom läsarens närmaste utvecklingszon. LUS relevans på högstadiet är dock mest befogat som en tydliggörande mall av läskompetenser, för uppsättande av delmål i åtgärdsprogram för de elever som inte når upp till kursplanens mål. För de elever som åldersmässigt följer den utveckling läsutvecklingsschemat målar upp, känns LUS överflödigt på högstadiet..

This degree project is an investigation of solar cells and their ability to deliver electric power as well as reducing the need for cooling. The main object of interest is a BASE-X shelter. The shelter is purchased by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV to be used for command and camp in the new force called Nordic Battlegroup, NBG. The demand on the equipment is firstly that it should have a small weight to be easy to transport and handle and secondly to be easy to bring up fast. Hedström Tom, Care planning teams. Advantages and disadvantages. Examination work C-level, 15 hp, Malmö Högskola, Health and society, Social works program, autumn semester 2009. The purpose of my work was to find out what the advantages and disadvantages might be with a care planning team from a support administrators point of view. The data collection for this work was done by semi-structured qualitative interviews with five people, all working as support administrators within the social services in the same region and town in Sweden. In my choice of interviewees i have tried to get such a diverse mix as possible when it comes to the interviewees experience in the profession and experience with care plannings.

The purpose of doing this research except for educational reasons is to show significant effects that make motivational work successful. The choice of subject we decided out of experience from the term of practise. The description of the subject is from the social workers angle of approach. The method we used is a qualitative study with semi structured interviews. We have looked at three different fields of social work from the view of six social workers, two from each field.

This thesis treats the information the insurance company is going to give the policyholders just before the insurance is to be concluded and soon thereafter. The purpose for the essay is to investigate whether the mentioned information can be considered to meet the purpose referred to its establishment. To reach other vari-ants of chords you have to combine chord/bass buttons. Which advantages and disadvantages do the use of combined chords/bass buttons mean? How is the pedagogic work affected by using the combined chords/bass buttons? I have interviewed four musicians/teachers to learn about this technique.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur arbetsterapeuter bedömer förmåga att köra bil hos personer efter stroke samt arbetsterapeuternas erfarenheter av detta arbete. Studien designades som en deskriptiv studie där verbal data samlades in med halvstrukturerad intervju. Data strukturerades som kvalitativ hårddata och analyserades med innehållsanalys och det resulterade i sju kategorier: Teamets arbete med körförmågebedömningen, Aktivitetsintervju ger grunden för bedömningen, Standardiserade instrument ger viktig information om kognition, Observationer tydliggör körförmågan, Anhörigas deltagande vid bedömning av körförmågan, Arbetsterapeuternas förhållningssätt och Vision om kompetensutveckling och utveckling av arbetsrutiner.
