Denna uppsats behandlar ämnet filöverföring i ett nätverk. Fokus för arbetet har varit att undersöka MTU:ns inverkan på överföringshastigheten vid filöverföringar baserat på vilket protokoll som används och storleken på filerna som överförs. I arbetet har ett flertal experiment genomförts som syftat till att utreda detta, samt att finna vilket protokoll som överlag presterar bäst baserat på omständigheterna för överföringen. Olika filöverföringsprotokoll, fildistributionsprotokoll, MTU:er samt filstorlekar har testats för att finna vad som resulterar i högst överföringshastighet vid filöverföring över ett Ethernetnätverk. Resultaten visar på att en hög MTU uppnår högst överföringshastighet vid överföring av stora filer, men att en standard-MTU fungerar bättre för att överföra mycket små filer..

Det som skapas idag är ett resultat av vad som tidigare skett. I den här undersökningen problematiserar och resonerar jag kring samtidens kriterier till historiska traditioner inom möbeltapetseraryrket. Primärt rör sig arbetet kring textila ytor och i detta fall möbelklädslar. Inledningsvis ges en kort bakgrund om inspiration och metod. Vidare följer undersökningens huvuddel där bakgrunden, inspirationen och metoden flätas samman med hjälp av frågeställningen: Hur kan man arbeta med ytan inom möbeltapetsering på fler sätt än vad man tidigare gjort och vidareutveckla arbetet med klädsel? Kan man ta tapetserarstilens tankar om dekoration/ytförändring till dagens ideal och i så fall hur?Avslutningsvis redovisas resultatet i undersökningen där metoden samt teknikproblematiken presenteras i form av ett antal slutprodukter.

Since the late 50th century, the automobile has been normative in the Swedish society (Lundin 2008). This has led to an urban environment deeply characterized by the motor vehicle and its necessities, while other means of transportation, such as train and bicycle, have been ignored and put aside. However, over the past decades, a new trend has been seen in urban planning as a consequence of the increasing knowledge of the negative qualities caused by the car. As a result, the bicycle is seen as a conceivable transport mode.This thesis examines cycling on four issues:- Why is there a need of more cyclists? - How can the total number of cyclists as well as the number of satisfied cyclists increase? - Which factors affect the choice of transport mode? - Which factors affect the choice of route?The first two questions are discussed from a literature study that was conducted at the beginning of the thesis.

I dagens utveckling av robotkontrollers så finner vi olika synsätt på hur vi ska angripa problemen som en robot ställs inför. Det här arbetet koncentrerar sig på artificiella neurala nät (ANN) och evolution med genetiska algoritmer och en fokusering sker på en speciell arkitektur av ANN som Stefano Nolfi presenterat.Rapporten kan ses som en fortsättning på Nolfis arbete och behandlar extensioner av fenomenet "spontan modularitet" som Nolfi beskriver. Det testproblem som används består i att utveckla ett kontrollsystem för en skräpsamlande robot. Detta arbete baseras på experiment runt detta problem med arkitekturer, vilka baseras på Nolfis spontana modularitet. Vi testar hur arkitekturerna påverkas av interna och återkopplade noder.Resultaten visar på att en spontan modularitet inte tycks påverkas positivt av återkopplade eller interna noder..

The Swedish public inquiries and most of the political science advocate reforms in the spirit of participatory democracy to strengthen the democracy. Although it is striking how limited and narrow the scientific documentation is in analysing the effects of participatory democratic reforms. Still, many of the local governments in Sweden are reshaping their organisations according to the participatory democracy model. Is it a trend and a symbolic action or a veritable action of good-will of the politicians?The paper argues that the idea of participatory democracy has become popular and widely spread.

Vårt arbete behandlade barns förståelse av ekologiska processer och genomfördes i en skola i Illinois, USA. Syftet var att utveckla elevers förståelse av fotosyntesen med hjälp av drama. Vi använde drama som pedagogisk metod för att synliggöra denna abstrakta process. Även praktiska experiment och teori ingick i undervisningen, detta för att förklara materians byggnad och omvandling. Två av de 6 medverkande eleverna i vår studie utvecklade en djupare förståelse och kunde se förhållandet mellan materians omvandling och sockret som energi för tillväxt.

This study has been carried out at Södra´s 31 local forestry districts and within six plant terminals. The production and sale of seedlings at Södra is managed in collaboration with ?Södra Odlarna?. Approximately 35 million plants are cultivated each year, providing Södra´s members with a wide choice of high quality plants. The seedlings are nurtured at nurseries before transferred to plant terminals where they are stored and watered.

The Swedish Forestry Research Institute implemented an experiment which began in the year 1979 in a by moose browse damaged area in Sweden. An audit in 2014 of the moose browsing study called ?Furudalsförsöket? is the underlay to the study's results. By comparing Scots pine stands development in relation to known damage obtained thereby gives the understanding of how browsing affects the short and long terms impacts of Scots pines quality and volume production. The results of this year's audit reveal that the standing volumes in the undamaged and damaged areas represent a significant difference. The number and volume of the ingrown trees constitute a larger proportion of the areas that have been heavily browsed. It also proves once again that that all damage classes had a downward trend, which means that the damage is concealed with time.

Password Management Systems är system som hjälper användaren skapa kontroll över sinaanvändarkonton och lösenord. Denna studie analyserar tre utvalda system, hur användarvänliga de är samtvilken typ av autentisering och kryptering de använder. Metoden som används är experiment tillsammansmed intervjuer av fem deltagare, varav alla hade olika erfarenheter med datorer. Studien har visat attanvändarvänligheten bland flerparten av systemen är höga. Risker finns bland upprepade lösenord ochanvändarnamn, samt osäker autentisering.

Laboratory work is a big part of chemistry education in high school. During our student training placement we have noticed that the laboratory work is not fully utilized to develop students´ chemistry knowledge. This problem made us want to investigate how the laboratory work in chemistry could be set, to become more meaningful for students. We introduced two preparation methods, and examined the outcome of students learning experiences and their acquisition of chemistry knowledge. This was examined both through surveys and observation.

By choosing the right option oftransportation and mode of transport there are large potential savings for the company. Consumer Information Processing (CIP) handlar om hur vi som konsumenter tar till ossoch påverkas av den information som ständigt omger oss vid en beslutssituation. Ämnethar länge varit i fokus för forskning inom marknadsföring då detta naturligtvisintresserar företagen i hög grad. Tidigare forskning hävdar att när vi som konsumentertar till oss av de intryck som omger oss, bearbetas dessa intryck tillsammans med dekunskaper vi har sedan tidigare (bottom-up processing och top-down processing).Studier har visat att information som tilldelas oss kan ha direkt påverkan på våra sinnenoch hur vi upplever en produkt.Denna studie undersökte hur olika typer av tilläggsinformation påverkade konsumentersupplevda smak av vin. Tolv testpersoner studerades i ett experiment bestående av tresteg där olika betyg presenterades på de viner testpersonerna bedömde. Resultatet avstudien visade att kvinnor i högre grad påverkas av negativ tilläggsinformation medanmän i högre grad påverkas av positiv tilläggsinformation..

The transformation within the swedish infrastructure has been a slow process from thebeginning of time. For almost a decade, the traditional form of contracting regardingbuildings and foremost infrastructure has evolved contracting involving the owner to definethe outcome of the product, regardless involvement from the supposed contractor. As forthe swedish market, the traditional design-bid-build (DBB) have been the primary choice ofcontracting. Although changes have been made over time regarding contracting formswithin the road administration, the railway sector has not improved or justified changesregarding choice of contracting, they have conducted same contracting relationshipsbetween them and the contractor.This bachelor thesis, conducted at the Swedish railway administration with supervision ofprofessor Kristian Widén at Lunds University, explores the forces behind the new era ofcontracting within the railway administration. This bachelor thesis focuses mainly oncontracting regarding design-build-operate-main (DBOM), the new contracting formulabetween the owner and the contractor.

Det här arbetets syfte är att utvärdera olika implementationer av grundläggande mekanismer inom området hierarkiska tillståndsmaskiner. De grundläggande mekanismerna, det vill säga representationerna för tillstånd och händelser, implementeras på fyra olika sätt, och de hierarkiska tillståndsmaskinerna utformas utifrån de möjligheter som de grundläggande mekanismernas implementation ger.I arbetet implementeras de hierarkiska tillståndsmaskinerna i programmeringsspråket C++. Dessa hierarkiska tillståndsmaskiners tidseffektivitet i transitioner per sekund mäts genom ett experiment. Utvärderingen av experimentet visar att den hierarkiska tillståndsmaskinen som använder arv i C++ för att koppla samman tillstånden och som utnyttjar objekttillstånd och medlemsfunktionshändelser kan utföra runt 780 000 transitioner per sekund. Den är därför den tidseffektivaste av de fyra hierarkiska tillståndsmaskinerna.

For a long time, economic activity has decreased and shows a downward trend in the food sector. To break this requires efforts to strengthen corporate position with the ability to meet market challenges. In the small producers is a great potential for them to be able to increase its profitability thanks to its ability to offer added value in the product. But to achieve this requires not only a willingness and creativity out of the ordinary but also factors that lead us into this report, current issues. The issues are related to marketing, brand building and the importance of developing a stable network. The study aims to investigate how small businesses operate in rural areas are experiencing the possibilities of support from various networks and organizations and that, from a business perspective, and also see which areas that they need more support in to achieve a growing business. The work has been followed by an inductive method, when we initially could not say anything about the empirical results.
