In a press release from the Swedish church it says that the pressure from people who are in need is increasing on the deacons in Sweden and that it?s getting higher each year. This study contains the search of knowledge about the deacons of the Swedish church, if they actually feel an increasing pressure and in what way, how they are handling the possible pressure from people in need, if that pressure is too high and if the deacons feel that they can assist the people seeking their help. The study also aim to provide more knowledge about the deacons experiences of the opportunities and boundaries (or obstacles) they meet in their line of work and how they handle the boundaries when/if they can?t provide the help that the people need.

Abstract: The world in which companies are acting today offers challenges in the sense that it is rapidly changing and that a vast amount of information is available. Our aim with this Master's thesis is to investigate what factors constitutes important and basic conditions in a well functioning environmental scanning and how companies strategically can go about to achieve this. It is up to the consumer to choose the messages they want to listen to and ignore the ones they want. Today, there is an advertising saturation and this has implications for both producers and consumer. Companies must be innovative and come with fresh ideas to get us consumers to pay attention to their particular message.  It is through the marketing that companies have an opportunity to spread their message.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how twelve middle school teachers use educational tools and what influences their choice of educational tools in Swedish language writing instruction. To answer this purpose, three research questions were formulated: What does writing instruction look like for middle school students according to the teachers in the study? What influences teachers' choice and use of educational tools in writing instruction? What opportunities and challenges do teachers experience in Swedish language writing instruction when using different educational tools? Twelve teachers from variously sized municipalities and with different experiences participated in the study through purposive sampling and convenience sampling. The chosen method is qualitative semi-structured teacher interviews. To analyse the results, this study employs analytical tools from the sociocultural perspective, using concepts such as mediation, appropriation, the zone of proximal development, and scaffolding. The results show that both analogue and digital tools are used in the teachers' writing instruction. The choice of tools should be based on pedagogical considerations, with an emphasis on social interaction and collaboration during the learning process.

Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelser hälso- och sjukvårdspersonalen hade i mötet med den döende patienten. Vidare var syftet att beskriva hur hälso- och sjukvårdspersonalen hanterade svårigheter som kunde uppstå i mötet med den döende patienten. Metod: Artikelsökningar genomfördes i databaserna PubMed, CINAHL och Science Direct. Inklusionskriterier var vetenskapliga artiklar publicerade mellan åren 2000 ? 2011, tillgängliga i fulltext, skrivna på svenska eller engelska samt att målgruppen var patienter 19 år och äldre.

The aim of the study was to examine individual staff experience and management of threats and violence in the acute psychiatric department for children and teenagers in Uppsala. Previous research shows that the experience of threats and/or violence is individual, and that it is difficult to distinguish between these concepts. Research shows that it is particularly vulnerable to work in psychiatry when mental illness is a cause when threats and violence occurs. Threats and violence can result in different consequences for the individual. The study is based on qualitative interviews and the material was collected in the autumn of 2012 at Akademiska sjukhuset.

I Sverige lider cirka 50 000 personer av svårläkta bensår varav venösa är de mest förekommande. Många lider i det tysta, i månader upp till flera år vilket påverkar deras livskvalitet. Svårläkta, venösa bensår avger ofta smärta, kraftig sekretion och lukt vilket orsakar patienterna ett stort lidande. Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur äldre patienter med svårläkta, venösa bensår upplever sin situation. Metoden för studien var en litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats.

This study investigates how Arabic-speaking students in Sweden use syntax and prepositions in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), and how their writing is influenced by Swedish grammar and Arabic dialects. The focus is on identifying systematic patterns of cross-linguistic influence and variation between different groups of learners. The data consists of written translations by 30 students in grades 7?9 who receive mother tongue instruction in Arabic. All students translated the same Swedish source text into MSA, and the translations were analysed with attention to syntactic structures and the use of prepositions. The theoretical framework draws on transfer theory, interlanguage theory, and the interdependence hypothesis, complemented by perspectives on multilingualism and diglossia. These frameworks make it possible to capture both external influences from Swedish and Arabic dialects, as well as internal processes of second language development.

Bakgrund:   Parkinsons sjukdom är en vanlig obotlig neurologisk sjukdom. Sjukdomen   innebär en långsam försämring livet ut. Både motoriska och icke-motoriska   symtom har stor inverkan på drabbades livsvärld även om det finns lindrande   läkemedel.Syfte:   Syftet är att undersöka hur personer med Parkinsons sjukdom hanterar sin   sjukdom och finner välbefinnande trots sjukdom.Metod:   Studien har en kvalitativ ansats och baseras på fem stycken självbiografier   skrivna av personer med Parkinson sjukdom. Texten har analyserats med   kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat:   Tre huvudkategorier framkom: ?Att få sjukdomen ? en resa mot insikt och   kunskap?, ?Ett nytt sätt att leva? och ?Omgivningens betydelse?.

This essay examines whether, and if so to which extent, the project Export MatureDestination in the Biosphere Reserve Vänerskärgården with Kinnekulle can combine the goalof the tourism industry, i.e. to double tourism between 2010 and 2020, and the goals of theBiosphere reserve, i.e. sustainable societal development and a sustainable biosphere economy.The aim is to examine how key individuals in the project approach sustainable developmentand economic growth, representing the two main interests in the area. Examining the state ofthe two interests the following examples are used: the position of sustainable development inregard to economic growth, the opportunities and challenges in the area and unity concerningthe goals of the tourism development in the region. The study is conducted through qualitativeinterviews with key individuals and a descriptive document analysis of the most importantpolicy documents.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att studera vilka faktorer som är viktiga för att ungdomsbehandling på institutioner ska få ett önskvärt resultat. Majoriteten av alla institutionsplaceringar misslyckas, men i denna undersökning studeras hur det kommer sig att vissa institutionsplaceringar faktiskt når ett önskat resultat. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer med fem ungdomar, alla med erfarenhet av lyckade behandlingsresultat, lyfts framgångs- och skyddsfaktorer fram. Dessa ungdomar har varit placerade på institution med anledning av asociala beteenden såsom missbruk, kriminalitet och våld och samtliga har genomgått en livsstilsförändring. Undersökningen intresserar sig för vilka faktorer som leder till framgång och studien utgår från ett salutogent perspektiv.

SammanfattningSyfte: Att få en fördjupad förståelse av hivsmittades erfarenheter av hur det är att leva med sjukdomen i Sverige.Bakgrund: Sedan mitten av 1990-talet definieras hiv som en kronisk sjukdom till följd av bromsmedicinernas utveckling. Detta betyder att de som drabbas måste lära sig att leva med sjukdomen samt hantera omvärldens reaktioner och värderingar som kan vara av diskriminerande/stigmatiserande karaktär.Design: En intervjustudie med kvalitativ ansats som utfördes under 2009.Metod: Nio hivsmittade personer intervjuades och dessa intervjuer analyserades genom att tillämpa Grounded Theory.Resultat: Resultatet synliggör hivsmittades erfarenheter av hur det är att leva med sjukdomen. Fyra kategorier framkom ur analysen; En livssjukdom, Omgivningens förhållningssätt till sjukdomen, Reglerad och spontan diskriminering/stigmatisering samt Strategier vid diskriminering/stigmatisering. Dessa kategorier kunde samtliga relateras till en övergripande kategori; En kamp för livet.Slutsats: Studien har synliggjort att livet för hivsmittade kompliceras av psykosociala faktorer, bromsmedicinernas biverkningar och av den diskriminering/stigmatisering som de erfar. Beroende på vilka copingstrategier som de tillämpar för att hantera sin livssituation, har betydelse för deras hälsa och välbefinnande..

Background: Poor perineal wound healing and infections after proctectomy surgery, affect a significant proportion of physical and psychological morbidities such as pain, leakage and abscesses. In its lengthening some of these symptoms will lead to extended periods of hospitalization. These kind of postoperative complications are also associated with delays in eventual chemotherapy treatment Aim: To describe the patients experiences of postoperative wound infection as well as communication and self-care support from the nurse specialist after proctectomy due to rectal cancer. Method: A qualitative content analysis was carried out from interviews. Results: Four main categories emerged; ?Coping with postoperative complications?, ?be independent?, ?feel safe?, and ?accept the situation?.
